On my visit to the restaurant, I was immediately taken back by the inviting atmosphere. The walls were decorated with posters of pizza slices and buffalo wings which told me I made the right choice for dinner.
The food was definitely worth it! From start to finish, my meal was amazing – starting off with their jalapeno poppers as an appetizer – they were full of flavor and were cooked perfectly! For my main course, I decided to try one of their signature pizzas, the Buffalo Wing Pizza. Let me tell you, this pizza was out-of-this-world delicious! The combination of the creamy blue cheese and hot sauce atop a cheesy crust was truly something special. Not only that, but the famous buffalo wings on top added a nice crunchy texture.
The service was also remarkable; the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive which made me feel welcomed throughout my entire meal.

#2 Oliver’s Pizza

From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I had stumbled onto something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was clear that Oliver’s Pizza takes great pride in their craft.

I consider myself a devoted pizza connoisseur, so when I heard about this small pizzeria tucked away in Macomb County, I had to try it out.
Let me tell you, the pizza was better than anything I’ve ever tasted! From their signature fire-roasted pepperoni and sausage blend to their classic BBQ Chicken, each slice of pizza was bursting with flavor and expertly cooked.
The atmosphere at Square One Pizzeria was particularly delightful. The restaurant itself is cozy and quaint, complete with red checkered tablecloths and bubbling soda fountains lining the walls. There was also a wide selection of beers on tap – perfect for celebrating a great meal!
But perhaps the best part of my experience at Square One Pizzeria was their staff. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly, constantly checking to make sure that our orders were up to par and all questions were answered quickly and efficiently.
Overall, I’m convinced that Square One Pizzeria has some of the best pizza in Macomb County – maybe even the world! Make sure to stop by if you’re ever looking for an amazing meal!
#4 Brioni’s Pizza
I must say, I was skeptical at first. After all, with so many great pizzerias in the area, how could one stand out? But as soon as I stepped into Brioni’s Pizza, I knew this place was special.
From the inviting atmosphere to the friendly staff, I felt like I was in a real Italian pizzeria. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious! Every bite brought me back to my favorite Italian eateries abroad. The crust was light and fluffy and the sauce had the perfect amount of savory yet complex flavor that made me take pause after every bite. On top of it all, the toppings were fresh and flavorful – each one adding an extra layer of flavor to the pizza!

#5 K’nickies
I had the pleasure of trying the meat lover’s pizza and it didn’t disappoint. The crust was thin and crunchy, while the sauce was sweet and flavorful. The toppings were piled high with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and mozzarella cheese. I even tasted a hint of garlic, which gave this pizza an extra oomph.
No great pizza can be complete without an amazing side dish. K’nickies provided cheesy breadsticks that were perfection! They were crispy on the outside with gooey cheese inside and sprinkled with herbs for added flavor.
The atmosphere at K’nickies is top-notch too! It’s decorated to resemble an Italian pizzeria, making you feel like you’re actually in Italy eating delicious Neapolitan-style pizza. The flavor of the cheese is absolutely amazing – and the dough is light, fluffy, and perfectly crisp. I was also pleasantly surprised by their selection of drinks. Not only do they serve beer and wine, but they even carry hard liquor!
For those with younger eaters in their party – fear not. Loui’s also has a kid’s menu. You’ll have to bring them to the restaurant, though, since Loui’s doesn’t offer delivery.
If you find yourself stuffed after your pizza feast, you can always treat yourself to one of Loui’s delicious desserts! Being right on main street makes it the perfect tourist spot too.

#7 WHAT UP DOUGH PIZZERIA

From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew this place was my kind of joint. The decor invoked a classic Italian pizzeria feel with its red and white checkerboard floor, Italian flags hanging on the wall, and a bubbling water fountain for ambiance.
But then came the real test—the pizza itself. I ordered the ”House Special” and it definitely lived up to its name! A generous helping of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and bell peppers over a thin-crust sauce that had just the right amount of tanginess made for a delicious combination.
But it wasn’t just about taste. WHAT UP DOUGH PIZZERIA has perfected their technique to get that ideal golden crust on every bite. The cheese was melted perfectly without being too greasy or burnt; I could really tell they took pride in their craft here.
Overall, WHAT UP DOUGH PIZZERIA more than lives up to its reputation as some of the best pizza in Macomb County—it’s worth going out of your way for! If you’re ever craving pizza while in town, make sure to check it out – you won’t regret it!

The atmosphere is quite cozy yet somehow has an elegance that puts it above the rest. It’s like walking through the door of an Italian trattoria, with delicious smells of fresh pizza and amazing hospitality.
The pizzas are truly hand-crafted and cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven, creating a flavor unlike any other. As a food critic, I appreciate the attention to detail invested in every pie!
And speaking of details–the toppings at Tivoli’s are deliciously special! The dough was light and airy and each topping was perfectly balanced on top. Some of my favorite combinations were the Marinara with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and garlic; or the Vegetarian delight with eggplant slices, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms and feta cheese. They also offer a few vegan options too!
As if pizza wasn’t already enough to make anyone happy –Tivoli’s takes it one step further with their insanely good desserts! Think tiramisu or cheesecake covered in fresh fruit that will have your taste buds dancing for days afterwards. No wonder they’ve been honored several times with awards for best dessert around Macomb county!
It would make me really happy if they could deliver pizza because that would just be icing on the cake (or should I say…pizza). But still it’s worth visiting Tivoli’s Wood Brick-Oven Pizzeria for some of the best pizza in Macomb County!

The first thing that really caught my attention was the fantastic smell! It’s like a mix of wood-fired ovens, garlic, and cheese. I knew this pizza was going to be good.
The presentation was also impressive. The first bite and the texture of the thin crust was sublime – crispy on the outside, tender in the middle. Then there were wonderfully flavorful toppings – onions, tomatoes, pepperoni, mushrooms – all cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere is great – the staff are friendly, and they make you feel right at home. Plus, their pizza toppings are out of this world! From the classic pepperoni to the creative BBQ chicken with red onions and gorgonzola cheese, they have something for everyone.
But what really sets MOD Pizza apart is their “create-your-own” option. It’s like a choose-your-own adventure novel for pizza lovers. You pick your sauce, your cheese, your veggies, and anything else that tickles your fancy…and boom! Pizza perfection!
And if you’re not feeling adventurous, then you can always go safe with one of their signature pizzas. My favorite is the MOD Classic – it’s got Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella and basil pesto combo gives it a real kick…I could eat it every day!

The first time I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was taken aback by how friendly and inviting the atmosphere was. From the moment I stepped through the door, it felt like I had been welcomed to a family reunion.
As for the pizza, it’s delicious! The sauce has just the right amount of spice and sweetness, while the cheese is melted to perfection. Every bite melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more.
If you’re looking for something special, try Buddy’s signature “pizza burger” — two pizzas connected by a bun-like crust made of their delicious cheese blend. It looked so tempting that even Tony Soprano would have shed a tear!
Aside from pizza, Buddy’s also offers some unique salads and appetizers like deep-fried ravioli and garlic knots. And of course no meal would be complete without one of their addictive garlic knots — they’re even better than mom’s cooking!
