I’m always on the hunt for the best pizza around the world, and have gotten to sample some unique regional toppings. Now, it’s time to see what Minocqua has to offer!
I’ve narrowed down my search to seven well-known pizza places in the area and I’m excited to share my reviews and ratings after my taste test. At the same time, I’ll try to keep things lighthearted and humorous – because life should be fun and delicious! Let’s dig in!

#1 Tasty Take & Bake Pizza

I tried the classic cheese pizza and it was truly out of this world. The crust was perfectly baked, with a light and flaky texture that just melted in my mouth. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe, making for a sweet tomato sauce balanced out by robust flavors from the cheese and spices.
The one downside is that they don’t offer delivery. But don’t let that prevent you from trying out Tasty Take & Bake Pizza – the deliciousness of the pizza is worth the trip to the store! I will definitely be returning soon.

It’s definitely not your average pizza joint. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all, they offer a variety of beers for adults and even a kids’ menu for the little ones. The pizzas were delicious, with fresh toppings that really made them stand out.
As if that wasn’t enough to make this a great spot, they also have some delicious desserts on offer to finish off the meal! It’s definitely a great tourist spot if you’re in the area, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by here while you’re in town.
The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery, but that didn’t seem like too much of an issue when I was there because the restaurant was quite busy. All in all, Minocqua Pizza Company offers amazing pizza, drinks and desserts – it’s truly one of the best pizza places around!

#3 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

When I walked in, the atmosphere felt like a pizza-foodie haven. The interior was bright and inviting, with plenty of seating. And when I jumped in line for my order, I could smell the freshly cooked pizzas that were just coming out of the oven.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their menu options, so I chose their classic pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. It was very affordable too!
I took my order home and followed their instructions for baking it in the oven – and it turned out perfect! The crust was nice and crispy on the outside, while still being fluffy on the inside. The sauce had great flavor, and the toppings were just right – not too much, but definitely enough.
Overall, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Minocqua, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza! From the tasty pies to budget-friendly prices and great customer service – they’ve got everything you need to make your next pizza night special.

This place really knows how to serve up a great pie. They have every topping you can think of, and the dough is always perfectly prepared. The best part is that they also serve alcohol (including hard liquor!) – perfect for celebrating your big win after watching sports on their TVs.
I also loved that there was something for everyone here. Our party included kids, too, and the menu had plenty of kid-friendly options. Not to mention the incredible dessert menu! It’s like Monical’s anticipated our every need before we even got there.
The only downside is that Monical’s doesn’t offer delivery service, but it was no problem for us since we were already in town and could make the short journey by foot.
Overall, I’d say Monical’s Pizza is one of the best pizza places in Minocqua, and I highly recommend it if you’re in town looking for some good food and drink!

#5 Oakfire Pizzeria & Bar

I was impressed as soon as I walked in the door. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it was obvious that this place was a favorite to locals. The staff were friendly, and they made you feel like family.
The menu is full of delicious options with something for everyone! There’s a kid’s menu, vegetarian options, dessert, hard liquor (yes!), and more. Plus, Oakfire is a great spot for tourists to visit or for those wanting to watch their favorite sports game.
The pizza here is absolutely delicious! The crust is crunchy with just the right amount of chewiness. The toppings are fresh, and the flavor combinations will have your mouth watering from start to finish!
Unfortunately, Oakfire does not offer delivery (boo!). But if you have time to come in for a meal or drinks you won’t be disappointed! All in all I’d definitely recommend this place if someone asked “Where’s the best pizza in Minocqua?”. 5 stars!
#6 Alexander’s Pizza

The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere – it had a cozy, family-friendly vibe and everyone seemed so welcoming. It was like I was part of the family!
The pizza was even better than I anticipated. I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and it did not disappoint. The crust was light and fluffy, while the sauce was sweet yet savory. And the pepperoni – oh my goodness – it was cooked to perfection with just enough heat to balance out all the other flavors.
I also tried their signature Italian Sausage Pizza, which really blew me away! This one has fresh Italian sausage, onions, and roasted peppers on top of their delicious homemade crust. Every bite was so delicious that I probably would have eaten three pizzas if I could!
To cap off my evening, I tried one of Alexander’s house-made desserts: The Italian Classic Cannoli. It was absolutely divine! The filling was creamy and had hints of orange zest that made it really stand out from other cannolis I’ve had in the past.
Overall, Alexander’s Pizza is definitely worth trying if you’re ever in Minocqua looking for some of the best pizza around!
#7 Domino’s Pizza
The prices are totally reasonable and the quality of their pizza is simply outstanding. The cheese is always nice and gooey, the sauce has just the right amount of spice, and the crust is always perfectly cooked.
I had a chance to try one of their specialty pizzas recently and I have to say that it was simply amazing – especially the bacon cheddar crust! It was a thing of beauty. The toppings were plentiful and each slice was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth!
I highly recommend Domino’s Pizza if you’re looking for the best pizza in Minocqua. They have something to please everyone from classic pepperoni lovers to daring vegetarians. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed with your visit!
