I wanted to find out which were the best, so I set out on a quest that included eating 12 pizzas from various pizza places in and around Boise.

Along the way, I encountered some interesting ingredients, creative topping combinations, and even one of the craziest fusion pizzas you’ll ever see. Throughout the journey I kept an open mind and a light hearted attitude.

While I’m no judge or jury (and don’t claim to be), I’m confident you can trust my opinion when it comes to finding the best pizza in Boise ID!

When I first walked into the restaurant, I was amazed at how cozy and inviting it looked. The atmosphere put me right at ease, and it was clear that everyone working there loved their job.

The menu was full of creative twists on classic Italian pizzas. There were vegan, veggie, and meat options available. I decided to try their special – the “Twist Me Right!” It’s one of their signature dishes and oh my goodness it did not disappoint! My experience here was nothing short of amazing. Not only did they have a huge selection of delicious pizzas, but the atmosphere and service were top notch as well.

The decor was inviting and comfortable, allowing for an enjoyable dining experience – even after having sampled over fifty pizzas in the last few months! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the pizzas offered, making it easy to choose my favorite.

I can honestly say that the pizza I had at Casanova Pizzeria was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. It had the perfect combination of crunchy crust with flavorful toppings. It was cooked perfectly and served hot – exactly how I like it.

And what pizza experience would be complete without a cold beer or glass of wine? Luckily, Casanova Pizzeria offers both! And if you’re looking for something sweet afterwards, they also offer dessert options that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

My only complaint is that they don’t offer delivery – but if you’re looking for great pizza without leaving your house then this isn’t necessarily a deal breaker. I was thoroughly impressed with The Wylder’s pizza offerings. From the classic pepperoni to the vegetable ragu, there’s something for everyone here. Plus, they serve alcohol (and hard liquor!), which makes it a great spot for a night out.

What really put The Wylder over the top for me was their desserts – insanely good! But I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re planning on having a quick dinner; unfortunately, they don’t do delivery.

I arrived at Romio’s expecting great things – and they didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable.

The pizza-making process was mesmerizing, watching as the experts carefully rolled out the dough, added the fresh ingredients, shaped it into a perfect circle before baking it to perfection. No shortcuts were taken here – only quality went into every single piece.

The toppings were plentiful and delicious – from classic pepperoni to exotic eggplant. I even had a bit of feta cheese to give it an extra zing! But what really made this place stand out from other pizza joints in town is the crust. It was light, airy, and perfectly crunchy – everything you want in a pizza crust!

I was greeted at the door by a friendly employee, which added to my already positive impression of this cozy restaurant. The atmosphere was great; there were plenty of tables to accommodate large groups and the bar area had plenty of room for those wanting to grab a brew while they enjoyed their pie.

The pizza itself was outstanding! With a perfectly cooked crust and an abundance of flavorful toppings, I simply couldn’t get enough. Plus, the taphouse has an impressive selection of craft beers on tap which made it even better.

Overall, I’d highly recommend The Front Door Taphouse to anyone who wants some of Boise’s best pizza. From the excellent customer service to the delicious food, you won’t be disappointed!

#7 Diggs Pizza

The restaurant itself was unassuming, but the smell of freshly baked cheese and sauce gave away its hidden greatness. I decided to order the “Special” – a large pie loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and olives.

I was quickly served a piping hot slice! The crust was perfect – perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously soft in the middle. The topping selection had great flavor combinations that really worked well together. The sauce was just the right amount of tangy- sweetness and the cheese melted deliciously over the top.

The best part about Diggs Pizza is that it is so affordable! I could easily get two or three slices for less than $10!

My first trip to Extreme Pizza was one of the most memorable pizza experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. When it came time to order, the sheer variety of toppings and sauces was almost overwhelming but I eventually settled on a classic pepperoni pizza with extra cheese.

The pizza itself was unbelievable! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while still having a bit of chew. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and tanginess, with subtle notes of garlic that came through in every bite. The cheese melted into each topping like a fluffy blanket and the pepperoni provided a nice salty kick to the flavor profile.
