- Has insanely good dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
I had heard a lot of good things about this spot, so I was really excited to finally get the opportunity to try it for myself.
First off, all of their pizzas are made with organic ingredients and fresh, handmade dough. You can definitely taste the difference between Crust & Craft’s pizza and mass-produced frozen pizzas. The textures of the dough and the flavor of the sauce were both remarkably good.
As for toppings, they have everything from traditional options like pepperoni and sausage to more exotic creations like shiitake mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Every topping was combined in perfect harmony: nothing was too overpowering or sparse; it just tasted right.
The crust has just enough crunch that you’re still left wanting more – which is always a sign of a very well-made pizza! Honestly, one slice wasn’t enough; I definitely should’ve gotten two (or maybe even three).
All in all, Crust & Craft offers some of the best pizza in Dewey Beach – if not all of Delaware! If you ever find yourself in town looking for an excellent slice or five, then make sure to give them a try. You won’t regret it!
