I’ve visited 12 pizza places in the area, all with their own unique styles and flavors. From traditional Chicago deep dish to wood fired Sicilian slices, I’ve explored every kind of pizza in Green Bay!

Though there were a few disappointments, the majority of places had delicious pies. So much so that it was hard to choose just one as the very best; every slice seemed to have its own special merit.

#1 Olive’s Pizza and Sandwiches

As soon as I stepped inside, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly faces made me feel like I was in a home away from home. The staff were all more than happy to answer any questions I had and provided helpful insight into the menu options.

The pizza itself was mouth-watering! It’s no wonder why this restaurant has such glowing reviews. The crust was light and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were generous yet not overwhelming. All in all, it was a pizza experience that will stay with me for years to come!

And if you’re looking for something different than pizza, their sandwiches are also amazing! They have an impressive selection that ranges from Italian subs to turkey melts to BLT’s – each one is made with fresh ingredients that you can taste.

The first time I stopped in, I was immediately welcomed with a cold beer. Yes, this pizza place serves alcohol – and even hard liquor! What better way to enjoy a delicious pizza than with an icy-cold drink?

The atmosphere is great for sports fans. You can easily park yourself at one of the televisions and catch all your favorite teams.

But what about the pizza? It is simply amazing. Their unique blend of toppings will satisfy any pizza connoisseur. From their Hawaiian to their veggie options, they have something for everyone’s taste buds!

My only complaint is that they don’t offer delivery. But it’s a small price to pay for some of the best pizza in Green Bay WI!

I first visited Jake’s Pizza Green Bay on a cold winter night, and the inviting atmosphere was enough to make me feel right at home – no matter how far I had traveled.

The food of course was just as amazing. From their classic cheese pizza to their delicious New York-style pies, it’s all cooked with fresh ingredients in a wood-fired oven. The crusts are perfect; not too thick, not too thin. The flavors come together wonderfully and the toppings are always generously applied. Even better, they offer unique creations that cannot be found elsewhere!

The staff is also incredible; they’ll do whatever it takes to make sure your dining experience is enjoyable. They’re helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to recommending dishes or suggesting gluten-free options.

All in all, I could not be more pleased with my experience at Jake’s Pizza Green Bay. It truly does serve some of the best pizza in Green Bay WI!

#4 Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream – Green Bay

I was delighted with the array of toppings available and the generous portions on each slice. It seemed like every ingredient was just one or two steps up from what you’d expect at an average pizza joint. The crust had a perfect crunch and the sauce was flavorful without being overly salty.

The atmosphere at Happy Joe’s gave me a sense of nostalgia. Despite its modern day features, there were still hints of simpler times—diners with classic red-and-white checked tablecloths, vintage arcade games and comfortable booths for family-style dining.

The friendly staff made my experience especially enjoyable. They weren’t just there to take orders; they took the time to get to know each customer and make sure everyone felt welcome in their restaurant.

From the moment I walked in, Rosati’s Pizza Of Green Bay had an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was rustic yet modern and produced a pleasant experience.

The hostess warmly greeted me with a smile that let me know I was about to have a great meal.

Once seated, it was time to order my pizza. I went for the classic pepperoni pizza and boy, was it worth every penny! The crust was perfectly crunchy, the sauce wonderfully flavorful and the pepperoni were cooked to perfection. Even after trying pizza all around the world, Rosati’s Pizza Of Green Bay is still up there amongst some of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted.

To top off my meal, I decided to go for one of their delicious desserts. Again, I wasn’t disappointed! The tiramisu had a lovely balance of sweet and creamy flavors that made this dessert one of the best I’ve ever experienced.

In summary, Rosati’s Pizza Of Green Bay is by far the best pizza in Green Bay WI! From start to finish my experience at Rosati’s Pizza Of Green Bay exceeded my expectations and left me feeling incredibly satisfied. #6 Cranky Pat’s Pizzeria

When I walked in, I knew this place was something special — there was a great atmosphere, with lots of laughter and smiles all around. I was also delighted to see that they served alcohol, so my experience was even more enjoyable.

The menu had plenty of options for everyone in my party, from the kids’ menu to vegetarian options and delicious desserts. But when it came time for our pizza order, none of us could make up our minds on what toppings to choose – there were just too many good ones! In the end, we went with the Cranky Pat’s Special which did not disappoint – it was truly delicious!

The only downside to this gem of a pizzeria is that they don’t offer delivery. However, if you are planning a trip to Green Bay WI then I highly recommend a stop by Cranky Pat’s Pizzeria – it’s well worth the visit!

#7 Sammy’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant

The ambience alone would make me come back. The cozy atmosphere and kitschy décor were the perfect backdrop to what was to come.

The pizza itself was divine! Every bite was loaded with flavor—the sauce had a unique sweetness, the cheese was melty and creamy, and the crust had that perfect balance of crunchiness and chewiness.

I’m not sure how they do it, but I swear they must add some kind of magical ingredient to their pies because after one slice I felt like I had left the real world behind!

My only complaint would be the service. It wasn’t bad—it just wasn’t up to par with the quality of pizza. The employees could use some training in customer service so their guests can feel as good as the food tastes.

All-in-all, I give Sammy’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant two big thumbs up! If you’re looking for a pizza joint that has some of the best slices in Green Bay WI, look no further than this place!

#8 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

I was initially skeptical walking into the small storefront, but my anxieties were quickly forgotten after I tasted their unique and delicious pizza. The crust is soft and slightly sweet, while their sauce is full of robust flavors. Every bite has the perfect combination of crispy goodness and cheesy perfection.

The toppings are where this place really shines, though. Everything from pepperoni to mushrooms to pineapple and jalapeno is available, making it easy to customize any pie for your own taste buds! Plus, if you ask nicely they’ll throw in a few extra slices of cheese with no charge.

When I walked into the store, I was immediately impressed by the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. As I started to take in all of the delicious smells coming from the kitchen, my mouth started to water!

The pizzas that they offer are unique and creative. I tried their ‘Cheesy Garlic’ pizza and it was absolutely mouth-watering. The combination of garlic and cheese put this pizza over the top! The crust was perfectly cooked and it had just the right amount of sauce.

But let’s get to the best part: their pizza! Whether you go classic or adventurous with toppings, one thing’s for sure- Glass Nickel Pizza Co. will not disappoint! I’m a big fan of their signature pies like the Spinach Garden and the Buffalo Mac ‘n Cheese; each topping marries perfectly with their perfectly thin crust pizzas. My favorite part? The fresh mozzarella cheese they use gives their pies a delicious creamy flavor that makes them so yummy!

Before I even took a bite, the name alone had me intrigued. Glass Nickel? Are they delivering pizza with some kind of secret spy gadget? I was half-expecting a pizza to shoot out of a pen or something. Unfortunately, no spy gadgets were involved, but trust me, the pizza more than made up for it.

The moment that pizza arrived at my table, I knew I was in for a treat. The thin crust was perfectly crispy, like it had been sunbathing on a tropical beach for just the right amount of time. And the toppings, oh my goodness! They were piled high, as if a pizza-loving giant had just sneezed all over my plate.

Now, I have to give a special shout out to the cheese. It was like a stringy, gooey blanket of heaven. I would gladly hibernate under that cheesy goodness until spring comes again.
