I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the world tasting pizza of every shape and size. I’ve had it in the most (exotic) places imaginable, so it’s only natural that I’d eventually make my way to Coronado. After all, who doesn’t love pizza?

And boy, am I glad I did! I recently visited Coronado and sampled 12 different pizzas from different restaurants around town. Not only was it delicious, but it also gave me a great opportunity to explore the wonderful variety Coronado has to offer. So without further ado, here are my picks for the best pizza in Coronado.

I visited this place after a friend recommended it to me, and I’m so glad that I did. The atmosphere was really warm and inviting – exactly what I look for when enjoying a pizza feast.

The selection of pizzas was great! They had all sorts of classic combinations as well as some really unique flavors. I opted for their “Dynamite” pizza, which was exactly like the name suggests: exploding with flavor! The crust was crispy and the toppings were flavorful and fresh. It’s definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in quite a while.

The staff at TNT Pizza were also top-notch. They were friendly, helpful, and even shared some of their cooking tips with me! Talk about hospitality!

All in all, TNT Pizza is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for the best pizza in Coronado. Their selection is delicious and the customer service is excellent – definitely two thumbs up from this food critic!

It was a hot summer day when I decided to take the ferry over to Coronado in search of pizza perfection. As soon as I got off the boat, I made a bee-line for Pummarò, and boy am I glad that I did.

I opted for the classic Margherita – a delectable combination of fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and basil. The crust was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch. Plus, those giant slices kept me full for hours!

The staff at Pummarò were friendly and helpful and seemed to take pride in their delicious creations. The restaurant itself also had a lovely atmosphere which added to my overall dining experience.

In conclusion, I would definitely say that Pummarò Pizzeria & Ristorante Italiano has some of the best pizza in Coronado! If you’re ever looking for a delicious slice in the area, this is definitely your go-to spot!

The first thing that stands out is the decor. It’s an eclectic mix of beach-inspired vibes with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Even if you don’t plan on eating pizza, it’s worth a visit just to take in the surroundings!

Now onto what really matters- the food. High Tide Bottle Shop & Kitchen serves up some seriously delicious pizza. The crust is thin and crispy, but also still has some chewiness to it. The toppings are generous, with just the right amount of cheese and seasonings to make each bite tantalizingly tasty.

Their specialty pizzas are also very creative and unique, adding another layer of flavor to your experience! Plus they have an extensive selection of craft beers to wash it all down with.

In short, no matter what kind of pizza you’re looking for or how much of a picky eater you are, High Tide Bottle Shop & Kitchen will not disappoint – so get there before someone else takes your spot at the table!

I’m not sure what kind of sorcery they use in their kitchen, but the end result is pure magic. The crusts are thin and crunchy, the sauce is flavorful and just the right amount of zingy, and the cheese-to-toppings ratio is perfect.

The restaurant itself is also a great place for tourists to visit. It has a nice ambiance and there’s always some lively conversation at the tables. Plus, it serves alcoholic beverages and desserts, so you can turn your pizza meal into an all-out feast! The only downside that I could think of is that they don’t offer delivery — you have to go in person to experience Nado Republic’s delicious pies. But trust me when I say it’s worth the trip!

The atmosphere at Alfredo’s is unparalleled. It’s a cozy, family-run joint that makes you feel like part of their clan. The decor is simple yet inviting and I truly felt right at home!

The pizza is where Alfredo’s really shines! The dough was perfectly cooked and had a delicious crunch to it. The toppings were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the sauce was just the right mix of sweet and tangy. Each bite was an explosion of flavor!

I’m also pleased to report that the service was outstanding! Our server, Carlos, went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable dining experience. He even gave us some insider recommendations on what to try next time we come back—which will definitely be soon!

When it comes down to it, Alfredo’s Pizzeria offers up some of the best pizza in Coronado. If you’re in town, make sure you stop by for a true taste of Italy!

The moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. From the inviting atmosphere to the warm and friendly staff, you can’t help but feel like a valued customer from the start.

The pizzas at Pizza Bella Italian Bistro are something else – each with its own unique flavor combinations that tantalize your taste buds. For example, The Margherita pizza is simply delicious! It’s topped with a blend of two cheeses, mozzarella and parmesan, creating an amazing flavor profile that will leave you wanting more.

When it comes to presentation, Pizza Bella Italian Bistro doesn’t disappoint either! Every pizza is cooked to perfection and presented on beautiful plates that make it almost too nice to eat.

The aroma of the freshly made pizza dough brought me in. Once I saw the handmade pizzas at Basic Bar & Pizza, I knew why this place was so popular – these were some of the best pies around! The crust is perfectly cooked, with a delicious crunch and just enough charring to give it that amazing smoky flavor. The sauce has some heat to it and the cheese melts perfectly; this is an excellent combo.

Toppings-wise they do not skimp – every single one that I tried was top notch. Whether it’s classic pepperoni or something more exotic like spicy chicken, they have it all. The ultimate topping combination for me was a mix of mushrooms and sausage – delicious! Also, don’t forget their specialty pies which are even better than other pizzas here – the olive & onion pie makes me weak in the knees!

Service-wise I have nothing but compliments for them – friendly staff, fast delivery times, and above all else great customer service.

To sum it up; if you’re looking for a true culinary experience then look no further than Basic Bar & Pizza. In my opinion it’s undoubtedly the best pizza in Coronado!

The atmosphere was great; the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a warm fireplace perfect for those cold winter days. Plus, I could smell the delicious aroma of baking pizza as soon as I stepped in the door!

The pizza itself did not disappoint. The thin crust was cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and tender inside – while at the same time remaining light and airy enough to be easily cut. The cheese was surprisingly good too – wonderfully melted and ooey-gooey – and I could tell the ingredients were fresh. I especially loved their homemade Italian sausage, which presented an amazing blend of flavors that set this pie apart from anything else I’ve ever tasted!

When I walked in, I was instantly intrigued. The interior was dimly lit, but cozy; the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening of pizza-eating.

I decided to start off with one of the signature pies: the Margherita. As soon as it arrived at my table, I could tell that this pizza had been prepared with care. The cheese and tomatoes were incredibly fresh, and there was just the right amount of seasoning. Every bite was absolutely delicious!

The atmosphere at Catalano’s is great too. It feels like a cozy neighborhood spot, with friendly staff and an inviting decor. And of course the Escarole Pie – a must-try that’s exclusive to Catalano’s – is out of this world!
