The crust was cooked perfectly, the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and the toppings tasted fresh. My favorite was their signature dish “The Hotline” – a classic combination of pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms and green peppers.
I couldn’t help but notice how vibrant the restaurant was. The walls were adorned with brightly colored neon signs that lit up the room in hues of red and yellow, reminding me of an old school pizzeria from back in my hometown.
What sets this place apart from others is how much care goes into making every single pizza. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about all the pies they offeredand went out of their way to create something unique for each customer, even if it wasn’t on the menu.
The only downside I could find with Hotline Pizza is that they don’t offer delivery. But don’t let that turn you away; their pizza is hot right off the oven so you won’t be disappointed!

#4 Nice Slice Pizzeria
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
The first thing that drew me in when I stepped inside was the warm, inviting atmosphere and the delicious aromas emanating from the kitchen. The servers were very friendly and eager to help, which I greatly appreciated for a traveling food critic like myself!
I decided to start with the Margherita pizza because it’s always a classic favorite. It was made with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, and topped with a sprinkle of oregano – definitely one of my favorites. The crust was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of crunchiness on the outside while still being chewy on the inside.
Next, I had to try their signature specialty pizza – the “Sicilian Slice”. This slice is loaded up with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic and Parmesan cheese. It was so flavorful! The combination of flavors was incredible – not too spicy or too sweet. Everything was cooked perfectly and each topping was carefully placed on top for maximum flavor.
Overall, I can safely say that Nice Slice Pizzeria has some of the best pizza in Providence Federal Hill! From their classic Margherita slice to their creative specialty pizzas – there’s something for everyone here! So next time you’re looking for an amazing slice of pie…you know where to go!
#5 Pizza J
- Has insanely good dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
When I first walked into the restaurant, I was impressed with the quaint and cozy atmosphere. The pizza-makers were hard at work, tossing dough and creating delicious looking pies. I quickly ordered the ‘Grandma’ pizza, thinking it had to be good if it was named after a beloved grandmother.
Boy, was I right! The Grandma pizza is Pizza J’s most unique offering: made thin and crispy instead of thick like a traditional pizza chain. It also had fresh tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms and a special blend of four kinds of cheese. All of this combined created an amazing flavor sensation that will make you come back for more.
The other pizzas on the menu are exceptional as well – from the tried-and-true plain cheese to exotic offerings such as pesto chicken or caprese pies. Prices range from fairly affordable to somewhat pricey, but all pizzas are worth every penny in my opinion. The quality of ingredients used makes Pizza J one of the best places for pizza in Providence Federal Hill.
If you’re in the mood for something besides pizza, you’ll be pleased to find an interesting menu of Italian appetizers and entrees, as well as antipasto and desserts like tiramisu. Everything they serve is delicious and prepared with care – another testament to why it’s widely considered some of the best pizza in town!
#6 The District

I had the chance to try the classic cheese pizza, and it was just what I expected – deliciously cheesy with a perfect balance of sauce-to-crust ratio. The crust was light and crispy, while still being thick enough to hold all that gooey cheese. Absolutely delicious!
The other standout item on the menu is their garlic knots. They were so soft and buttery, almost dripping with flavor. I ate every single one!
The atmosphere of The District was a great bonus. From the rustic brick walls to the wooden tables and chairs, everything inside was inviting and cozy. It’s a great place to meet up with friends for a relaxing night out for pizza.
Overall, my experience at The District was more than satisfactory. I highly recommend it as one of the best places for pizza in Providence Federal Hill!

The first thing I noticed upon coming in was that the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. With warm, rustic decor and friendly staff, it was easy to get comfortable and start dreaming about that perfect pizza.
The menu is full of all sorts of interesting combinations like the ‘Garden Medley’ or the ‘Four Cheese Fiesta’. However, I opted for their signature pie – the “Gusto Special” and let me tell you…it did not disappoint! The dough made for the perfect crust and the combination of toppings were balanced with each bite. It’s clear why this pizza is so popular!
But a great pizza needs more than just flavor – what really sets Pizzeria Gusto apart is their dedication to quality ingredients. #9 Revival Brewing & Lost Valley Pizza and Brewery
- Serves alcohol
First, the atmosphere is incredible. It’s a cozy brewery and pizzeria, with dim lights and a vibrant energy that you just won’t find anywhere else. Plus, it’s got a great selection of beers on tap to enjoy while you wait for your pizza.
Second, the pizza is top-notch. They make all their dough in-house which gives it an authentic flavor and texture that can’t be beat. The toppings are all fresh and flavorful – everything from classic Italian meats to some more creative options like apples and walnuts – so there’s something for everyone. They also offer gluten-free crusts as an option if you need it!
Everything I had at Revival Brewing & Lost Valley Pizza was amazing but the best thing by far was the wood-fired pizza they make in their giant oven right behind the bar! The smoky flavor really puts this place over the top when it comes to pizza in Providence Federal Hill.
