After trying 12 pizza places in the area, I’m ready to share my opinion on the best pizza in Lewes. My criteria for judging is strict but fair—quality of ingredients, unique flavor combinations, and overall atmosphere are all taken into account.

#1 Half Full

The atmosphere is amazing; perfect for tourists looking to experience some local flavor. And better yet, they serve alcohol! Not only the usual beer and wine selections, but some hard liquor too – perfect for washing down that pizza.

The pizza itself was a delight; cooked to perfection with delicious toppings and a crispy crust. I especially loved their specialty pizzas which really packed an incredible flavor punch.

My only gripe was there is no delivery option – but that’s a small price to pay for such great tasting pizza! So if you’re in Lewes DE and are looking for the best pizza around, look no further than Half Full!

#2 Mr. P’s Pizzeria

In my opinion, the quality of the pizza here is unmatched. The crust is light and fluffy – not too thick or thin. It’s cooked perfectly to give it a delicious crunchy texture on the outside, while still being soft in the middle.

I wasn’t expecting an alcohol menu at a pizza restaurant but was pleasantly surprised to find several different types of beer, wine and cocktails. This place is great for adults who want to get together for pizza night (or any occasion).

Mr. P’s also offers a kid’s menu so that young ones can enjoy their favorite dishes like cheese and pepperoni pizzas without adult-level spiciness. Plus they’ve got desserts like cheesecake, cannolis, and brownies that are sure to please everyone in your family.

The only downside I found was that there was no delivery option available, but if you can make it into the restaurant, it’s definitely worth it! Mr. P’s makes some of the best pizzas around and is also a great tourist spot – perfect for when you’re looking for something more than your usual beach day routine!

#3 Nicola Pizza

I was a bit skeptical at first when I heard about Nicola Pizza, but once I sat down and tasted one of their classic Margherita pizzas with my own eyes, I was sold. The dough was light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch on the crust. The homemade tomato sauce had an incredible flavor that reminded me of Italy.

The thing that impressed me the most was how they managed to incorporate alcohol into their menu without ruining the classic Italian flavors. You can order beer or hard liquor by the glass to go along with your pizza, making it a great choice for date night or any other special occasion.

Not only do they serve amazing pizza, but they also have a kid’s menu with options like mini-calzones and grilled cheese. They also offer some vegetarian options for those looking for something meatless! And if you still have room after your meal, you can try one of their delicious desserts such as cannolis or tiramisu – yum!

To top things off, this is a great place for tourists – it has lots of touristy things like souvenirs and postcards – plus it’s a great spot to watch sporting events on big screen TVs!

The only downside to Nicola Pizza is that they don’t have delivery. But who needs delivery when you can get such amazing pizza in person? All in all, I’d highly recommend Nicola Pizza if you’re looking for the best pizza in Lewes DE!

#4 Full Belly Bistro

This charming pizzeria has it all, from scrumptious artisan pies to hearty Italian classics. The crust is always perfectly crisp and the sauce is full of flavor. I’m particularly enamored with their signature specialty “The Rehoboth” pizza – artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, black olives, and feta cheese come together in a delightful combination.

The staff at Full Belly Bistro exude a friendly energy that makes you feel right at home. Service is fast and attentive, so you don’t have to wait long for your delicious slices of pizza goodness! And did I mention the price? Absolutely pocket-friendly!

#5 Crust & Craft

The pizza at Crust & Craft is delicious and flavorful. The crust is thick and chewy, with just the right amount of crunch. The cheese was melted perfectly, and all of the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

The atmosphere of Crust & Craft was also great, with plenty of tables and a great staff that always had time to chat. They have a great selection of craft beers to pair with their wood-fired pizzas – it’s a match made in heaven!

I ordered the “Mushroom Mastery” off their signature menu, which is loaded with several kinds of mushrooms, exotic cheeses, and some white truffle oil for good measure. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

Overall, Crust & Craft has definitely earned its spot as my favorite place for the best pizza in Lewes DE – I’ll definitely be back soon!

I had heard good things about this spot before I arrived, and was thrilled to find out that they lived up to the hype. The staff was incredibly friendly, and their wood-fired oven creates delicious, thin-crust pizza with a golden and chewy crust. They offer a wide variety of tasty toppings, so there’s something for everyone.

What impressed me the most about DaNizza Wood Fired Pizza – Reho was their attention to detail. Everything from the homemade dough and sauce to the artfully arranged toppings show their obvious commitment to quality. As an added bonus, they also serve desserts—perfect for when you’re in a sweet tooth mood!

As much as I love going here, I do wish they offered delivery. For those days when I’m too tired or busy to drive out, it would be great to be able to order some of DaNizza Wood Fired Pizza – Reho’s delicious creations right to my door.

#7 Pats Pizzeria-Lewes

It started with their signature crust. It had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and it was topped with a delicious blend of fresh mozzarella cheese and Italian spices. The sauce was bright and savory, not too heavy or too acidic.

The toppings were where they really shined. Their pepperoni was perfectly salty and spicy, while the mushrooms provided a great earthy counterpoint. And the combination of spinach and feta cheese added even more complexity to this already amazing pie.

The atmosphere at Pats Pizzeria-Lewes was also top notch. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure that all diners felt welcome no matter what time of day it was. Plus, the tables were spaced far enough apart to offer some privacy when needed.

All in all, I would highly recommend Pats Pizzeria-Lewes for anyone looking for an amazing pizza experience! With quality ingredients, excellent preparation, and a wonderful atmosphere – you can’t go wrong!

#8 Titanic Pizzeria Italian Restaurant

This cozy little Italian restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual night out with friends or family. The staff is always friendly and there’s a wide selection of delicious pizzas on offer, ranging from classic Margheritas to spicy BBQ Chicken.

The pizza itself was absolutely amazing. I had the Margherita and it was hands-down the best pizza I’ve ever had! The crust was thin and crispy but still light and fluffy, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. The cheese was gooey and creamy, making the perfect balance of ingredients.

Overall, Titanic Pizzeria Italian Restaurant is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Lewes DE! Filled with warm hospitality and delicious food, you can’t go wrong here!

#9 Grotto Pizza

Upon entering the establishment, I was warmly greeted by the staff and was struck by the pleasant aroma of freshly made pizza. The decor was an interesting mix between modern elements and classic Italian style with rustic wooden tables and a bright blue accent wall with a giant Grotto Pizza mural. It felt like a great place to enjoy some good eats.

Once seated, my waitstaff were very helpful in guiding me through their impressive selection of pizzas. I decided to try the Pepperoni Lovers’ special, featuring a generous helping of hot, fresh pepperoni atop their delicious red sauce and gooey cheese.

To say I was impressed would be an understatement – this pizza had it all; perfect crust that held up to all of the toppings, hearty sauce full of great flavors, and generous portion sizes. Not to mention the portions are more than enough for one person!

I’m convinced that Grotto Pizza’s special recipe is what makes them stand out from other restaurants in Lewes DE. The quality ingredients combined with the friendly atmosphere made this restaurant one of my favorites in town. So if you’re looking for really fantastic pizza in Lewes DE, look no further than Grotto Pizza!

#10 Pizza Villa

I visited this restaurant with very high expectations, and it certainly did not disappoint. The menu selection was varied and full of delicious options. I opted for the signature Pizza Villa Pie, which was a heavenly combination of tomato sauce, cheese, and crust. The marinara sauce was flavorful without overpowering the other ingredients. The cheese was melted to perfection over the thin-crust pie. To complete this masterpiece, crispy bacon strips were sprinkled over the top.

The atmosphere at Pizza Villa also adds to its charm; it’s a cozy little spot with checkered tablecloths that make you feel like family. The staff is friendly and helpful – they even offered me helpful suggestions on what toppings to get! For example, one of their pizzas has an Italian sausage crumb topping that is out of this world!

Overall, I had an amazing culinary experience at Pizza Villa and would recommend it to anyone looking for the best pizza in Lewes DE! If you’re ever in town, be sure to check it out – you won’t regret it!

#11 Louie’s Pizza

I recently stopped by Louie’s Pizza to give it a try, and I was blown away. The pizza was cooked to perfection—the crust had a wonderful crunch, the cheese melted in my mouth and the sauce was full of flavor.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and took great care with their customers. They even offered me free samples of their specialty pizzas!

I have to say that my experience at Louie’s Pizza was truly unforgettable—it’s certainly one of the best pizza places I’ve ever visited! From the delicious food to the excellent service, they serve up some of the best pizza in Lewes DE. If you’re looking for an amazing slice of pizza, definitely make your way over to Louie’s Pizza and take a bite!

#12 Grotto Pizza

The first thing that jumped out at me was the quality and taste of their sauce. It’s robustly flavorful, and it really brings the pizza alive. The crust is also something special – light and crispy with just the right amount of flavor. It’s what I imagine heaven might taste like in pizza form. And then there’s the toppings! Freshly cut veggies, delicious meats, a variety of cheeses – they even let me create my own custom-topped pie!

Everything I tried here was amazing, but if I have to narrow it down, I’d say “The Grotto Special” takes the cake. Combining perfectly cooked pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion and bacon with freshly grated mozzarella and provolone cheese — this is one masterpiece you don’t want to miss.
