The first thing that struck me when I walked into Pizza Vero was the atmosphere. It was so vibrant, it felt like I’d been transported to a small pizzeria in Rome. The staff were friendly and accommodating and made sure my experience at Pizza Vero was top notch.
The food itself was mouth-watering, if I do say so myself. The crust was soft and chewy yet crispy on the edges, just how I like it. The topping combinations were out of this world – whether you prefer classic cheese or something more adventurous, Pizza Vero has something to suit everyone’s tastes!
I also had a chance to sample one of their signature Neapolitan pies and it definitely lives up to its reputation as some of the best pizza around! The sauce was rich and flavorful, the cheese melted perfectly, and the combination of flavours really made for an unforgettable pizza experience.

Let me start off by saying that the atmosphere at Papa Duke’s is incredible! You feel like you’re in a classic Italian deli, with the old-school decorations and white-tiled walls. The staff are always friendly and eager to help, which is always nice to see.
The pizza at Papa Duke’s Deli & Grill is outstanding! The crust is cooked to perfection, with the right amount of crunchiness and flavors that really contrast the mild yet tangy sauce. The cheese is melted just right on top of all the ingredients, making this cheesy delight even more mouthwatering.

The restaurant has a bright, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is full of delicious options that are sure to please everyone.
I was served fresh, quality ingredients with some of the best crusts I’ve ever tasted. The sauce was so flavorful and the cheese melted in my mouth. Every bite was like a mini pizza party in my mouth!
Speaking of parties, Pacific Pizza offers some great catering packages for both large events and small gatherings. They even have a pizza buffet option which is perfect for office lunch celebrations or birthday gatherings!

The service was also great; my waiter clearly had a handle on what he was doing and provided me with some awesome recommendations for drinks that really topped off the experience.

The first thing that struck me at Rosaria Pizza was the smell. The aroma of freshly cooked pizza dough filled the air and had my taste buds tingling with anticipation.
When I finally had a chance to try it, I was not disappointed. The crust was cooked perfectly– light and fluffy inside with a crispy outer edge – and the sauces were perfectly spiced. The quality of cheese used was top-notch, with each slice loaded with amazing flavors.
The service from the staff at Rosaria Pizza was excellent as well; they were friendly and efficient and really made us feel welcome. Not to mention that the prices are very reasonable for such high-quality food!
I would highly recommend Rosaria Pizza to anyone wanting to experience some of the best pizza in Poway!
#8 Tony Pepperoni Pizzeria

When I walked into their restaurant, the first thing that caught my eye was the amazing scent of delicious pizzas cooking. The aromas were almost enough to make my mouth start watering!
I approached the counter and was greeted by one of the most friendly staff members I’ve ever met. She took my order with a smile and seemed genuinely interested in what kind of pizza I wanted. I decided to go for an authentic Italian-style pepperoni pizza, loaded with all the good stuff.
The wait time was quite short and when the food arrived, I could hardly contain myself. One bite of this perfectly cooked pie filled my taste buds with delight. The quality of ingredients used was immediately noticeable — it tasted like everything had just been freshly prepared right in front of me. Not too greasy, great flavor, and oh so cheesy — it was perfect!
If you haven’t been to Tony Pepperoni Pizzeria yet, you’re missing out on some of the best pizza in Poway! For me, it’s definitely worth going out of your way for a slice or two (or three).

From the moment I stepped in, I could tell that Perfect Pizza was different. The atmosphere was great – bright and airy with lots of conversation buzzing around me.
The pizza selection was impressive – they had something for everyone. Whether you’re into traditional toppings like pepperoni, or something a little more experimental like pineapple, Perfect Pizza has you covered. Plus, there are plenty of vegan options for those who don’t eat cheese!
When it comes to the pies themselves, let me just say that I’m impressed! The dough is so fluffy and light that it melts in your mouth. The flavors are powerful yet subtle – never overpowering. It’s just what you want from a really good pizza!
Overall, I’d definitely recommend Perfect Pizza if you’re looking for the best pizza in Poway. In fact, it may be some of the best pizza I’ve ever had anywhere!
#10 The Shop: Pizza + Cocktails

The staff were absolutely friendly and accommodating – they made sure I had everything I needed, including plenty of napkins.
The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a beautiful bar area for craft cocktails. The menu had something for everyone – from classic pies to more exotic vegan options.
As far as the pizza went, it was out of this world! They had a wide selection of styles and toppings, but my favorite was the classic pepperoni pie. It was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and just the right amount of savory cheese.

#11 Filippi’s Pizza Grotto Poway

The pizza here is absolutely delicious, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The thin crust is perfectly crisp, and the toppings are always fresh. I especially love their unique twists on traditional toppings like pineapple and spinach!
What really makes Filippi’s stand out for me is the atmosphere. It feels like a classic Italian pizzeria, with lots of red-and-white checkered tablecloths and some great old school music playing from the speakers.
Service at Filippi’s was also top notch – friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like a VIP meal after meal! Plus, they offer takeout services which makes grabbing a quick slice even more convenient.
I’m not sure if Filippi’s Pizza Grotto Poway has the best pizza in town or not – that’s something you’ll have to decide for yourself – but it definitely tops my list when it comes to great pizza experiences!
#12 Pizza Studio Poway

I recently stepped foot in their restaurant and it was like a pizza paradise! The smell of freshly baking dough set the perfect tone for my pizza experience. I ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and let me tell you, every bite was pure heaven! The sauce was perfectly spiced with just the right amount of fresh mozzarella cheese and combination of toppings that made this pie simply indescribable.
