I’ve sampled pizza from all over the world and now I’m turning my attention to some of the best pizza spots in Aurora IL. After an extensive search and sampling of 12 different pizzas, I’m ready to share my thoughts on which one takes top honors!

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The interior is decorated with bright colors and there’s a lot of greenery that really helps to liven up the space.

I sampled the ‘Butter Chicken Pizza’ from Maciano’s which was an absolutely delicious combination of chicken, garlic butter, spinach, mushrooms, red onions and mozzarella cheese. The dough was cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior and chewy interior. It was well seasoned with herbs and spices, making it a flavourful pizza experience!

The side dishes at Maciano’s really put this restaurant over the top for me. We had the Ravioli Caprese appetizer which was creamy yet tart with tomatoes and fresh basil; as well as their signature macaroni & cheese which contained three types of cheeses and was extremely rich in flavour. They also offer other delicious options like eggplant parmesan or lasagna al forno.

Maciano’s definitely goes above and beyond when it comes to pizza in Aurora IL. Their selection of pizzas is vast, with options ranging from classic to creative offerings like jalapeno popper pizza or Italian sausage & honey pizza. And if you’re not in the mood for pizza you can always choose one of their other amazing menu items like subs, wraps or salads.

On top of serving great food, Maciano’s also offers reasonable prices that won’t break your bank account. Our meal ended up being much more affordable than we expected!

The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, with a friendly staff eager to offer suggestions. Upon first glance, the pizza menu was quite extensive and each pizza was prepared just right.

I opted for their standard margherita-style pizza and man, it did not disappoint! The homemade sauce was perfectly sweet, the cheese had that perfect stretchy texture, and the crust was so light and fluffy – I have never been able to find a better combination!

The real highlight of my experience at Mario’s Pizza was their unique toppings. They offer an eclectic mix of sautéed vegetables, spicy meats, and even exotic fruits! I’m sure that these creative toppings are part of why this place is considered the best pizza in Aurora IL.

The atmosphere is great – you can choose to sit inside the cozy restaurant or enjoy your meal on the outdoor patio. No matter where you choose, the friendly staff always make sure that each guest feels like they are the most important customers there.

When it comes to pizza, Little Pops NY Pizzeria Express really shines. Their signature dish is New York-style pizza and they definitely deliver! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, just like a proper New York slice should be. Toppings are generous and flavorful too – I recommend trying their pepperoni and mushrooms with extra cheese; it’s a match made in heaven!

If you’re feeling adventurous, try one of their specialty pies. They have an amazing white pizza with spinach and feta that will leave your taste buds tingling. Or if you’re craving something sweet and savory, go for the cornbread pizza; it’s a unique twist on traditional toppings but still delicious!

The crust and cheese were perfectly cooked – the cheese was surprisingly stretchy and the crust was golden-brown and crispy. The marinara had a lovely balance of sweetness and acidity, so it didn’t overpower the other ingredients. And the toppings — oh my goodness, the toppings! Every bite I took was filled with flavor from pepperoni, olives, peppers, sausage, and more.

But what really sets Raimondo’s apart is their special recipes – they have so many unique combinations that I couldn’t decide which to order! What I ended up getting was the “Aurora Special”- pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers on white sauce – and it was delicious!

Overall I would highly recommend Raimondo’s Pizza and Pub for anyone looking for that perfect slice of pizza in Aurora IL. Trust me when I say it will be worth every penny (and possibly even more)!

I don’t know what kind of pizza wizardry they practice in their kitchen, but it’s certainly delicious. The crust is thin and crisp, the sauce is robust and flavorful and the cheese is gooey and delicious. All the toppings are freshly prepared each day and always bring the perfect balanced flavor to their pizza.

What really sets Amato’s apart, however, is their unique topping combinations. I’ve tried pizza topped with sausage, spinach, artichoke hearts, banana peppers and even pineapple – all of which were a hit! You also won’t find many places where you can get your pizza “double sauce-ified.” This means that they’ll put a double layer of sauce on your pie – adding an extra kick of flavor that you won’t find anywhere else.

#6 Ach-N-Lou’s Pizza Pub

My experience at Ach-N-Lou’s was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I could smell the delicious aroma of freshly baked dough and sauce. The decor had a nice, cozy feel, with plenty of seating for large parties and a full bar for those who like to enjoy their pizza with a cold beer.

The menu offered an extensive selection of signature pizzas and sides, but I decided to go with one of their special pies: The Big Lou. The Big Lou is their signature 16-inch pizza topped with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions and mushrooms.

The dough was light and fluffy with just enough crispiness to hold all the toppings together without becoming soggy or oily. The sauce was perfectly spiced and added just the right amount of sweetness to the pie. The pepperoni was flavorful and cooked evenly throughout, while the sausage had that perfect texture that any meat lover would appreciate. And last but not least, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy – so good!

The crust was crispy yet fluffy, topped with a flavorful sauce and plenty of cheese. The fresh vegetables added texture and pizzazz to each slice. Every bite did not disappoint – they all tasted amazing!

The staff are friendly and helpful, with excellent service – they truly want you to have a great experience in their restaurant.

The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in was the impressive array of ingredients and toppings. They don’t skimp on anything, which is a trait I appreciate in a pizza joint.

I ordered their signature Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza with Italian sausage, and it didn’t disappoint! The thick crust was deliciously crunchy and the flavor of the sausage was amazing. My mouth is still watering just thinking about it!

I tried two different types of pizzas – a classic pepperoni and a more unique prosciutto and arugula – and both were outstanding. The cheese had an amazing tanginess that was balanced out perfectly by the fresh ingredients. Even after having traveled all over, I’m still amazed at how flavorful this pizza was!
