I’ve been all over the world, tasting pizza everywhere from the streets of Rome to the beaches of Sydney. But I think I finally found my favorite place to get pizza right here in Kitty Hawk.

#1 Pizza Stop

As soon as I walked into Pizza Stop, the aroma of fresh dough and melted cheese filled my nose. The atmosphere was electric and inviting – not to mention the friendly staff who were eager to chat with me about their pizzas.

I had the opportunity to sample several of their signature dishes and must say that every one was delicious. From the classic margherita pizza with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil to the incredibly decadent Italian sausage pie topped with spicy peppers – each slice hit the spot!

The highlight for me was their specialty: a wood-fired BBQ pizza with bacon, onion, and mushrooms – simply heavenly!

If you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Kitty Hawk, Pizza Stop is definitely your go-to spot. With such amazing flavors and ingredients to choose from, this place absolutely deserves five stars across the board. Enjoy!

#2 Southern Shores Pizza & Deli

My experience there was nothing short of wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with the perfect amount of noise and bustle.

I opted for a classic pepperoni pizza that had been freshly made in their brick oven and it was amazing. The crust was golden and crispy, the sauce tangy with just the right amount of spice, and the toppings were fresh, juicy, and flavorful. It easily rivaled many of the pizzas I’ve tried in my travels!

The staff at Southern Shores Pizza & Deli also did an outstanding job. Everyone from the server to the cook to the cashier was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even offered us some samples from their deli case to try before ordering – which tasted great too!

If you’re ever looking for good pizza in Kitty Hawk, you absolutely must go to Southern Shores Pizza & Deli. I guarantee that this is the best pizza you can find in town!

#3 Slice Pizzeria

I mean, their ingredients are fresh, the crust is perfection and they use real cheese that tastes like it was made directly from an Italian farm. Plus, they are always offering new and exciting specialty pies.

My favorite experience was when I tried their version of a “Hawaiian pizza”. The owner put on a show, grating the cheese right in front of me and then adding pineapple chunks right before it went into the oven. The result? A combination of sweet flavors with salty deliciousness!

The service at Slice Pizzeria can’t be matched either. Whether you’re ordering a small pie or wanting something extra special for a big group, they’ll go out of their way to make sure your order is perfect every time.

#4 Sal’s New York Pizza

I’m no stranger to pizza, and I can tell you that Sal’s definitely has the freshest ingredients. The dough is perfectly chewy, the sauce is savory and sweet, and the cheese was freshly grated and loaded with flavor.

The toppings were also on point! Sal’s offers a wide variety of topping options from classic favorites like pepperoni and sausage to more creative combinations like garlic shrimp or roasted artichokes. I even spotted some unique vegetarian options like roasted mushrooms or tomatoes.

My favorite part about Sal’s New York Pizza was the atmosphere. It really felt like walking into an authentic New York-style pizzeria. The walls are lined with signed photos of celebrities who have visited over the years, giving it a cool vibe that I could get used to! Plus, their prices are incredibly reasonable so it won’t break the bank if you have a large party.

#5 COSMO’S PIZZERIA

The atmosphere is great – it’s a nice tourist spot and they even serve alcohol! I don’t know about you, but nothing goes better with pizza than some cold beer. They also have some vegetarian options available for those who are trying to stick to their diet, plus there’s always dessert for after if you still have room in your stomach.

The only downside to this place is that they don’t offer delivery. But there’s nothing like the taste of freshly made pizza and as long as you’re not too far away, it may be worth the short drive to get something truly special.

All in all, I’m sure COSMO’S PIZZERIA is serving up the best pizza in Kitty Hawk – so do yourself a favor and check them out soon!

#6 Max’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and the crust is cooked to perfection. The pizzas can be ordered with a variety of toppings, or you can have it plain. I recommend trying their specialty pizzas like the Margherita or the Diavola – both are excellent choices!

The service is friendly and helpful. On my last visit, I discovered that Max had concocted a new Italian dish – one I hadn’t heard of before. It was outstanding! He’s also willing to accommodate special orders – just tell him what you want on your pizza and he’ll make it happen.

All in all, Max’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for great tasting pizza in Kitty Hawk, this is definitely the place to go!

#7 Dare Devil’s Pizzeria

This place is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the tastes of Kitty Hawk. They have everything you need to make an evening out with friends memorable, from their selection of alcohol (yes, they even have hard liquor!) to their deliciously cheesy pizzas.

The best part about Dare Devil’s Pizzeria is that it’s a great spot for families too, because they also offer a kid’s menu and desserts. This really rounds out the complete dining experience.

It’s also a great tourist spot as it has a lot of history behind it – you can imagine some famous daredevil doing spectacular stunts here! And if you’re into sports, this is a fantastic place to catch your favorite game.

The downside? Unfortunately, Dare Devil’s Pizzeria doesn’t offer delivery – but I highly suggest visiting in person anyways! You won’t regret your decision…the pizza here really is top-notch!

#8 Vinny’s Pizza Joint

When I walked through the doors, I was immediately hit with the smell of freshly made pizza and knew I was in for a treat. The staff was friendly and welcoming and helpful in making sure my order was exactly what I wanted.

I opted to go with their signature “The Vinny Special” which comes with all sorts of delicious toppings like pepperoni, sausage, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives. It’s one of their most popular pies and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

The crust had just the right amount of crunch to it although if you’re looking for a really thin crust, you won’t find it here. The toppings were all cooked to perfection and so full of flavor that each bite came alive with flavors that melted in your mouth.

The real star attraction at Vinny’s Pizza Joint is their selection of homemade sauces! They have everything from traditional Italian sauce to something called pesto that had me coming back for more!

Overall this place serves up some seriously delicious pizza and definitely takes the title as being the best pizza in Kitty Hawk! If you haven’t already been here, don’t hesitate – head on over now and get yourself some great pizza!

#9 Pizzazz Pizza of Nags Head

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The walls were adorned with pictures of local wildlife and it had a cozy, homey feel. Plus, the staff were friendly and welcoming.

When it came to the pizza itself, I was thoroughly impressed. The crust was cooked to perfection – crispy on the edges and light in the middle. My favorite topping combination was fresh mozzarella, basil, garlic, and tomatoes – a classic but oh so delicious!

Overall, my experience at Pizzazz Pizza of Nags Head was wonderful. If you’re ever in Kitty Hawk be sure to stop by – you won’t regret it! Best pizza in town.

#10 Pizzazz Pizza of Duck

The atmosphere at Pizzazz Pizza of Duck is like none other. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re treated with a warm welcome and the delightful smell of fresh pizza baking. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, which helps make your dining experience even more enjoyable.

Now, let’s get down to business – the pizza! I have never tasted such delicious pizza in my life! The crust was perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden-brown exterior that gave way to a light fluffy interior. The cheese was bubbly, stringy and oh so flavorful. The sauce was balanced perfectly – not too sweet, not too spicy…just right! And for those who like their pizzas extra cheesy (like me), they offer plenty of options to add on whatever ingredients you may desire.

I can confidently say that Pizzazz Pizza of Duck has some of the best pizza in Kitty Hawk! If you’re ever in town and looking for a delicious slice of ‘za, don’t hesitate to stop by – you won’t be disappointed!

The first time I decided to try their pizza, I was blown away. Not only was the interior of the restaurant nice and cozy, but the service was second-to-none. The cashier greeted me with a smile on his face despite it being a busy lunch hour.

The pizza itself was delicious! The dough had just the right amount of crispness and flavor, while the cheese melted perfectly into every bite. The toppings were fresh and flavorful too, adding great texture and flavor to the pizza.

To top it all off, Little Caesars Pizza offers excellent value for money. If you’re looking for great pizza at reasonable prices, this is definitely the place to go!

All in all, Little Caesars Pizza in Kitty Hawk is my favorite spot for getting my weekly pizza fix — hands down the best pizza in town! Bon Appétit!

#12 Domino’s Pizza

The first time I stopped by Domino’s, I was impressed with their wide selection of toppings and crust styles. Whether you’re in the mood for some classic pepperoni or something a little more adventurous like chicken parmesan, they’ve got you covered! And for those of us who are gluten-free, there’s even gluten-free crust available.

I also appreciate that Domino’s offers options for delivery or pickup, so every once in awhile I can get my pizza fix without ever having to leave the comfort of my couch. They also offer deals on select days which make it easy to feed my whole family without breaking the bank.

But most importantly, the pizza is absolutely delicious. The crust is always perfectly cooked and the toppings are flavorful and fresh. I cannot get enough of their cheese-covered slices!
