From the moment I stepped through the door I knew I was in the right place. The aroma of garlic and basil wafted through the air and set my taste buds singing with anticipation. When I finally got a chance to sample Fausto’s mouthwatering pies ,I couldn’t have been more impressed.
The crust was thin, with a perfectly golden-brown color, and it held up to all of the cheese and toppings without getting soggy. As for what went on top, well let’s just say that Fausto has their ingredients finely tuned so that each slice maximizes flavor.

#2 Piz-zetta Pizzeria
Their menu is quite impressive and varied, with a wide selection of classic flavors complemented by more daring options. I ordered the latest trend – cauliflower-crust pizza – and it was exquisite! The crust was light and airy, making for a deliciously unique experience.
The cheese used is sourced locally and was very cheesy in the best way possible. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, but not overpowering so that each bite was still full of subtle flavor nuances.
The service staff at Piz-zetta Pizzeria were friendly and efficient, helping to make my dining experience feel like home.
Overall, I would highly recommend anyone looking for the best pizza in Prospect Heights stop by Piz-zetta Pizzeria. You won’t be disappointed!
#3 MOD Pizza
- Has some vegetarian options
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
I’m not exaggerating when I say that the pizza here is absolutely delicious. The crust is thin and crisp, like a crunchy cracker, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; they help you customize your pizza to get it just right. Plus, they have an array of unique sauces to choose from!
But let’s be honest; the real star here is the pizza. Toppings range from classic pepperoni to more exotic choices like roasted artichoke hearts and kale pesto. And don’t get me started on their thick-cut artisanal cheese – it’s creamy and rich in flavor, offering a delightful savory punch in every bite.
MOD Pizza is also incredibly affordable; ordering one of their signature pizzas only sets you back a few dollars. If that’s not tempting enough, there are also plenty of drinks available for purchase as well as some tasty desserts for those with a sweet tooth (the homemade brownies are especially good!).
To sum up my review of MOD Pizza: without question, this place has some of the best pizza around Prospect Heights! The delicious crusts, fresh toppings, variety of sauces, cheap prices – all wrapped up in a cozy atmosphere make it an ideal spot for grabbing lunch or dinner with friends or family. Bon appetit!

The first thing that struck me about the place was how inviting and warm the atmosphere is, with its cozy seating areas, cool decor and friendly staff. The menu has plenty of delicious offerings, but I had to try their special – a Margherita made with fresh mozzarella, basil and San Marzano tomatoes.

- Has a kid’s menu
My experience at Rosati’s Pizza was top notch. From the moment I stepped in, I immediately noticed the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was pleasant and attentive, ensuring that my every need was taken care of.
The food itself was delicious! We decided to go with the classic Chicago deep dish pizza and were not disappointed. The crust was crisp yet fluffy and had a nice balance between crunchy exterior and soft interior. The sauce had an intense flavor that complimented the cheese perfectly, resulting in a truly delectable experience.
But the most impressive part of my experience at Rosati’s Pizza had to be their selection of toppings. Every topping we tried was cooked to perfection – whether it be traditional pepperoni or something more exotic like jalapenos – everything was cooked to perfection!

#8 Giuseppina’s

I’ll admit that I was skeptical at first, and thought that no pizza joint in a small Brooklyn neighborhood could compete with the pies I’d sampled in Italy, but boy was I wrong.
The crust of each pizza is perfectly crisp and buttery, yet still soft and chewy. The sauce is a sweet-yet-tangy blend of tomatoes and herbs that will make you want to keep coming back for more!
The toppings were where Giuseppina’s truly shined. Not only are their signature combinations creative and delicious, their selection of vegan options is unparalleled! Ranging from roasted garlic mushrooms to vegan pepperoni, there’s something for everyone.
The atmosphere at Giuseppina’s was also top-notch. The quaint Italian vibe added an extra bit of charm to the already perfect experience. Plus, the servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
