The only downside is that there’s no delivery service; you have to go in and pick up your pizza if you’d like to take it to-go.

The pizza was divine! From the perfectly crunchy crust to the generous topping selection, I couldn’t find a fault with it. It was heavenly – not just for Kill Devil Hills standards but the whole world!

As soon as I stepped in the restaurant, I felt a sense of excitement. The atmosphere was lively and inviting. I could feel the anticipation of what was on the menu.
The pizza dough was cooked to perfection! It had a crunchy outside with a soft and doughy center. The sauce was flavorful and the toppings were fresh. The combination of flavors melted together perfectly… it’s almost like they made the pizza just for me!

On my visit, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff and immediately taken with the rustic yet cozy atmosphere. It’s your classic brick oven pizza place but with a modern twist.
The menu is filled with all sorts of options for those inclined to experiment, but the star of the show is the classic New York Style Pizza. The sauce was rich and flavorful, while the crust was just thin enough without being overly crunchy. Topping wise, you can choose from a variety of traditional toppings plus some surprises like bacon bits! It really hit all the right notes and I quickly wolfed down my slice in record time.
No review would be complete without talking about the service, so let me just say that Sal’s has some of the best hospitality around. They clearly care about each and every customer who walks through their doors and go out of their way to make sure they have a fantastic experience.

The atmosphere here is unique – it’s like stepping into a time machine and being teleported back to the seventies. The walls are decorated with vintage posters and other memorabilia, giving the place a retro vibe.
The service was top-notch as well – the staff was friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. They know their pizzas inside out and gave us lots of helpful advice on what to order.
Now onto the pizza! I have to say, Nags Head Pizza Company really blew me away – this is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Kill Devil Hills! The crust was perfectly cooked, with just enough chewiness, and the toppings were fresh and flavourful. Delicious!

This place definitely lives up to its name. Upon entering, I was quickly transported to the southern shores with its coastal-inspired decor. It was the perfect setting for my pizza tasting.
The menu has something for everyone, but I chose the classic Margherita and it did not disappoint! The crust was crispy yet light and flavorful and the toppings were generous and delicious. Everything about it was spot on – from the ingredients to the baking technique.
Besides great pizza, Southern Shores Pizza & Deli also offers an extensive array of deli sandwiches made with fresh local ingredients. From Italian Subs to Mexican-style tacos, there’s something for everyone here!

On my visit to Max’s, I was thoroughly impressed by their wide selection of pizza toppings – everything from sausage to mushrooms and olives to pineapple! The crust was perfectly crunchy and the cheese was flawlessly melted.
But what really stood out for me at Max’s was their incredible house-made sauce. It had just the right balance of sweetness and heat, and it made all the difference in the taste of their pizzas.
I also loved how they bake each pizza in a wood-fired oven, which gives them an authentic Italian flavor that you can’t find just anywhere. Plus, they offer all sorts of unique combinations like their signature “Tropical Gourmet,” with kiwi, mangoes, white onion, and jalapeño peppers!
All in all, my experience at Max’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria was beyond satisfactory. Without a doubt, they have some of the best pizza in Kill Devil Hills!

And of course, no visit would be complete without dessert. Their selection of pies and cakes is top-notch, with something tasty to satisfy everyone’s palate. It’s also a nice touristy spot, offering great views of the Kill Devil Hills area.
For those sports fans out there, this is the place to watch your favorite teams – Dare Devil’s Pizzeria has huge TVs everywhere so you can make sure you don’t miss a moment of the action!
The only downside I could find was that they don’t offer delivery – although for pizza this delicious, I might just have to make the trip every time I’m craving it! The atmosphere was great – I could tell from the moment I walked in that this place is a tourist hot spot. Plus, it’s a bonus that you can get some beer or wine with your pizza if you’d like! But more importantly, the food lives up to its reputation. They offer both classic and creative pizzas, as well as some vegetarian options for my herbivorous friends.
It’s too bad they don’t have delivery, because then I would get actual rest while still satisfying my pizza cravings. Fortunately, they do offer delicious desserts to top off the meal. You won’t be disappointed!

My first bite into a slice of their pepperoni pizza had me hooked. The sauce was perfectly balanced with a hint of garlic and the cheese was just the right amount of gooey. I also love the way Vinny’s takes traditional ingredients of a classic margherita pizza but steps it up with unique toppings like olives, mushrooms, and onions.
The atmosphere in Vinny’s Pizza Joint is truly something special. It’s like stepping into an Italian pizzeria from the 1950s! From its checkered tablecloths to its old-timey jukebox, every detail transports you straight to Italy.
And if you’re looking for something to wash down your delicious pizza, Vinny’s has a wide selection of craft beers and local wines that pair perfectly with their dishes.

When I visited, I was struck with how friendly the staff were. They seemed to take great pride in their work and it really showed in the quality of the food they served. They were quick to serve up my pizza and even remembered my name when I came back a few days later!
The atmosphere was also top-notch. It’s well-lit with plenty of seating to accommodate parties both small and large. Plus, they offer some interesting arcade games that add a fun touch for families or groups looking for something more than just delicious pizza.

The cheese pizza I got was great, with perfect amounts of both cheese and sauce. The crust had that nice crunch to it that captures the classic pizza experience. To top it off, the pepperoni slices made for a very flavorful combination.
The service at Domino’s Pizza is top notch too! Everyone seemed helpful and friendly, which definitely adds to the overall experience.
