This quaint beach town may be relatively small, but it packs a punch when it comes to pizza. On my recent visit I was able to sample 10 pizza places in order to determine which one is the best. It was no easy feat—I ate a lot of different types of pizza!

I’m not exaggerating when I say that the competition was steep. Every place had something special and unique on offer. But in the end, only one could reign supreme. To find out what makes this particular pizza so delicious, and where to get your next slice in Montauk, read on!

#1 Blade + Salt Pizza and Good Food

The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable; the staff was welcoming and friendly. The decor had a modern, industrial feel, with brick walls and dim lighting – a great ambiance for a delicious slice of pizza.

They offer an extensive variety of thin-crust pizzas with creative toppings, including options like zucchini pesto and roasted asparagus. I chose the classic margherita pizza – it was perfection! The crust was just the right thickness and crispness, the cheese was beautifully melted, and the tomatoes were cooked to perfection. The flavors melded together wonderfully and it left me wanting more!

But perhaps most importantly, their signature Blade + Salt experience made my meal even more special. After placing my order at the counter, I watched as the chef added flakes of salt to my pizza before throwing it into his oven. It only took a few minutes before my pie came out hot and fresh – ready to be enjoyed!

I highly recommend Blade + Salt Pizza and Good Food if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Montauk. You won’t regret it!

#2 La Capannina

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is very inviting. The decor has a cozy Italian-style vibe, complete with rustic wooden furniture, checkered tablecloths, and warm lighting.

The menu is extensive and the pizzas come in all shapes and sizes, from traditional Italian-style Margheritas to more exotic pies spiced up with jalapeños and pineapple. Every pizza I tried was delicious! The dough was thin and perfect for folding in half for a classic Italian bite. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and generous.

I’m sure La Capannina will be my go-to spot whenever I’m in Montauk! I’ve heard they even have a happy hour every night where you can get two regular pizzas for the price of one – that’s not something you want to miss out on! #3 Alimentari Beach Montauk

The atmosphere at Alimentari Beach Montauk is absolutely amazing. The decor is perfect, with beachfront views that make you feel like you’re dining on the coast of Italy. The staff are friendly and accommodating – they make sure to give every customer the best experience possible.

The food is divine – I’m no pizza connoisseur, but their crusts are delightfully crispy and their toppings are always cooked to perfection. Their signature margherita pizza is out of this world! The ingredients used in all their pizzas are the freshest around – you can taste the quality in every bite.

I highly recommend Alimentari Beach Montauk for anyone looking for a delicious pizza night out – it’s truly some of the best pizza in Montauk!

#4 Sausages Pizza & Pastabilities

On my most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of toppings and sauces. From traditional options like pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage to more exotic choices like pesto and truffle oil. Whatever you are feeling like, they’ve got it!

When I bit into my first slice, the blend of savory and sweet flavors were unbelievable. The dough was soft and chewy but with just the right amount of crispiness around the edges. Each topping was cooked perfectly – juicy, delicious morsels that melted in your mouth.

The atmosphere at Sausages Pizza & Pastabilities is great as well. It’s a cozy spot with an inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The servers are incredibly friendly and always make sure your meal goes without a hitch.

#5 Best Pizza & Dive Bar

The atmosphere of this place is great. It has a dive-bar vibe, with a cool and laidback crowd. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their pizzas, so I knew I was in for a good meal.

The pizza itself was out of this world! It had the perfect ratio of crunchy crust to soft chewy dough – plus plenty of toppings to choose from. My favorite topping was the homemade pesto sauce. It added just the right amount of herby kick that elevated each bite!

To top it all off, they offer craft beers on tap and cheap pitchers of margaritas, which made my pizza-tasting experience even better.

Overall, Best Pizza & Dive Bar serves up some of the best pizza in Montauk! While it may not be the most modern or chic spot around town, its genuine hospitality and delicious slices make it worth visiting again and again!

#6 The Pizza Place

When I first walked into The Pizza Place, I was amazed at the wide variety of toppings available – from anchovies to artichoke hearts. The crust was perfectly cooked and just the right thickness for a hearty slice.

The sauces were flavorful and the cheese was topped with just the right amount of pepperoni, making every bite a delight.

I wasn’t sure what to order at first, but my server was willing to give me sample slices so I could decide. She also offered helpful recommendations that would help me make the perfect combination of toppings.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Pizza Place – it definitely lived up to its reputation as having some of the best pizza in Montauk!

#7 Roberta’s Montauk

What makes it so great? Well, for starters, you can get your pizza with a nice side of hard liquor! This definitely sets Roberta’s apart from the competition. They also have some great vegetarian options, something that I haven’t been able to find in many places.

The atmosphere at Roberta’s Montauk is great too. It’s a nice place to stop and see while on vacation – plus they have televisions playing all the big games if you’re into sports. And, if you manage to save room after gorging on their famous pies, they also offer dessert which is an added bonus.

However, the one downside I could find was the lack of delivery options. This isn’t the end of the world but it would be nice to be able to stay in and order up some of Roberta’s delectable pizza creations without having to leave the house.

Overall, I highly recommend Roberta’s Montauk for anyone looking for the best pizza in Montauk!

#8 Pizza Village

The first thing that grabbed my attention upon entering Pizza Village was the smell of freshly baked pizza. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed and I could tell it was a popular spot for locals.

I decided to order my favorite, the pepperoni pizza, and it didn’t disappoint! The crust was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch. The mozzarella cheese melted in my mouth and the pepperoni added just the right amount of spice.

I also sampled one of their signature pies, and it felt like an adventure – all sorts of exciting flavors mixing together in harmony. Between the richness of the sauce and texture of the crust, this pizza has definitely earned its place as one of the best pizzas around!

Overall, there’s no doubt that Pizza Village is one of Montauk’s best pizzerias. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a dinner celebration with friends, this is your go-to spot for delicious pizza!

#9 il Buco al Mare

I mean, talk about a great restaurant – not only do they serve delicious pizza, but they also have an impressive selection of alcohol and hard liquor to enjoy alongside. On top of that, their desserts are insanely good! They really knocked my socks off and I can easily recommend them to anyone looking for a great meal.

The atmosphere is pretty touristy as it’s right in the heart of Montauk, but this doesn’t take away from the excellent food. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome, so don’t be intimidated by all the tourists around you.

The only downside I have with il Buco al Mare is that there’s no delivery option available. However, if you’re willing to get out of your house and make the journey to Montauk, it’s worth it. After all, this place has some of the best pizza in town!

#10 Kenny’s Castaways

I’ve been to a lot of places, but the unique combination of flavors and ingredients at Kenny’s Castaways made it one of the best. The crust was cooked to perfection and had a great crunchy texture. The sauce was fresh, flavorful and not too sweet. And the toppings…oh, the toppings! From pepperoni and sausage to fresh vegetables and even seafood, every topping I tried was cooked perfectly.

The atmosphere was cozy with outdoor seating for those rare summer days when Montauk is actually sunny. But even in winter, it was surprisingly comfortable inside with pleasant music playing in the background.
