I’ve tried out 12 places for this article and with my world travels as a frame of reference, I can give you an informed opinion on the ‘Best Pizza in Kenosha’ – all while keeping it humorous and lighthearted!

#1 Ruffolo’s Special Pizza 2

The atmosphere was perfect; a cozy little restaurant with an open kitchen so you can watch your pizza being made from scratch. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and it felt like I was eating at the home of my Italian great aunt!

The pizzas themselves were fantastic. The crust is thin and crispy yet fluffy on the inside. Toppings are fresh and flavorful, with a variety of combinations to suit every palate. And oh, that cheese! It’s mozzarella, of course, but it’s ooey-gooey and oh so delicious.

If I had to pick one word to describe Ruffolo’s Special Pizza 2, it would be: sublime! This is by far the best pizza I have ever tasted in Kenosha – or anywhere else for that matter. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Italian experience, this is definitely the place to go! Highly recommended!

#2 Renzo’s Pizzeria & Trattoria

The atmosphere is great. There’s a nice tourist spot nearby and they even serve alcohol. Plus, if you’re looking for a vegetarian option, you won’t be disappointed.

A downside is that there isn’t any delivery option available. But if you’re in the area, it’s worth the visit. The pizza is delicious and even better when fresh out of the oven.

All in all, Renzo’s Pizzeria & Trattoria serves some of the best pizza in Kenosha! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent pizza experience.

#3 Sal’s Pizza

The pies here are like nothing I’ve ever tasted before – the crust is thin and crispy, with just the right amount of toppings, and every bite is full of flavor. And let’s not forget the melted cheese: it’s so gooey and delicious that it goes perfectly with whatever topping you choose.

The staff at Sal’s Pizza is also warm and welcoming, making sure that each visit to this pizza restaurant is a pleasant one. They’re always willing to help out when it comes to finding the perfect pizza combination or offering tips on how to make your pie even more delightful.

But perhaps best of all, Sal’s Pizza offers great value for money – you can get a large pizza with up to five toppings for only $12! Now that’s a bargain no one should ignore.

#4 Frankie D’s Vino & Pizzeria

The atmosphere at Frankie D’s is casual yet inviting. I was quickly seated and had a delicious slice of pepperoni pizza before I knew it. The crust was thin and crunchy, just how I like it. The sauce was flavorful but not overpowering and the cheese was gooey and delicious!

I decided to do a little more exploring around the restaurant, which led me to the wine bar stocked with an impressive selection of wines from Italy, Spain, France, and more. It turns out Frankie D’s also offers their own house-made red and white wines as well!

To finish off my experience I had a cannoli for dessert. The pastry shell was light and flaky filled with just the right amount of creamy ricotta cheese filling that left me wanting more!

#5 Kaiser’s of Kenosha Pizza Restaurant & Pub

The minute you walk in the door, you feel like family. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is rustic and inviting.

The pizza selection is outstanding. They offer all sorts of delicious classic pies like Margherita, Pepperoni, and Hawaiian. But they also have some unique options I’ve never seen before like their “Fiesta Pizza” which comes with a blend of Mexican flavors and vegetables, or their “Macho Man Pizza” which has sausage, beef, pepperoni and jalapeños that definitely packs some punch!

I also tried one of their baked pasta dishes which was equally as delicious.

But what really sets Kaiser’s apart is their crust. It’s just perfect – slightly crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside – so when you take a bite it simply melts in your mouth. It’s quite honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had!

Kaiser’s of Kenosha Pizza Restaurant & Pub is worth every penny for amazing homemade pizza!

#6 Stella’s Casa Capri

The atmosphere at Stella’s was just right – the decor was inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, the restaurant smelled like a wood-fired oven!

The pizza itself was something special. The crust was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of crunch. The sauce was zesty and flavorful, and the selection of toppings made it easy to customize my pizza exactly how I wanted it. I opted for a classic Margherita with extra cheese, and it did not disappoint.

I have to say that the real highlight at Stella’s Casa Capri was their house-made dessert pizza. It had a sweet glaze on top that tasted like fresh fruit, and the crust had a hint of cinnamon baked in. It definitely finished off my meal on a high note!

The atmosphere at Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen is also welcoming and inviting. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff who are eager to make sure you have a great experience. There is also plenty of seating, so even if it gets busy (which it usually does), it never feels crowded.

The atmosphere at Valeo’s Pizza is truly unique. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the décor truly captures the essence of Italian-American culture. The pizza itself is to die for – fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

My personal favorite pizza from Valeo’s is their olive oil crust topped with spinach and feta. The crust has just the right amount of crunch and chewiness, the flavors meld together perfectly, and it all combines for one delicious bite after another!

The atmosphere can’t be beat either – cozy booths for intimate dinners, bright lights for game nights with friends, there’s literally something for everyone. Plus, the wait staff are always friendly and helpful in making sure you get exactly what you want.

All in all, Giordano’s is definitely one of my favorites! It’s easily one of the best places to find great pizza in Kenosha – if not one of the best places to find great pizza period!

#10 Infusino’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

The first time I walked into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The clean and inviting atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The booths are cozy and the decor is nice – there’s even an outdoor patio area where you can enjoy a slice!

Once I received my pizza, it was clear that Infusino’s knows how to make a good pie. The fresh ingredients were particular attention to detail – the crust was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. My favorite part? Those generous portions of toppings! I could actually taste each one, from the sweet bell peppers to the savory sausage.

In my opinion, Infusino’s is one of the best pizza places in Kenosha since its combination of quality ingredients, friendly service and generous portions make for a fantastic meal. After my visit here, I can confidently say that this is definitely among the best pizza in town!

#11 Oakfire Pizzeria Napoletana Restaurant & Bar

Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how authentically Italian the decor was. It really transported me back to Naples. As soon as I tasted my first slice, I knew why people said this place was so good. The crust had just the right amount of crunch and chewiness, and it held up under the delicious toppings!

The best part about this restaurant is that they don’t skimp on the ingredients. From their homemade mozzarella to their fresh-picked tomatoes, every bite was like a mini flavor explosion. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic Margarita pizza or something more adventurous like truffle and egg, you won’t be disappointed.

#12 Pa’s Pizzeria

From their Sicilian-style deep dish to their classic margherita pies, the variety of pizza at Pa’s Pizzeria will really make your mouth water. I especially enjoyed their combination of artichokes, olives, and pesto over a thin crust. Absolutely delicious!

The service was friendly and helpful as well. The staff were always willing to answer questions about the menu or suggest great combinations of toppings for a truly unique flavor.

My only criticism of Pa’s is that I didn’t have enough time to sample more! But I can assure you that it’s worth the visit if you ever find yourself in Kenosha looking for the best pizza around.
