I’m always on the hunt for delicious pizza, and Nags Head NC did not disappoint! After spending some time in the area, I checked out 12 different pizza places to determine which one is truly the best. From little local mom-and-pop shops to tourist favorites, no slice of ‘za was left untasted.

I’ll be giving my honest opinion, so you can trust that I know a thing or two about pizza. You can also trust that I won’t give any bad place an “A” just because they’re a friend’s business; the truth comes first! It’s going to be an interesting journey through Nags Head looking for pizzas worth writing home about—or at least worth giving a good review!

#1 Village Pizza of Nags Head

I was totally blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the freshness of their pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp, with a nice chewy texture and just the right amount of flavor. The sauce had incredible depth, like it had been cooked for hours. The cheese was flavorful and creamy and melted fantastically over the toppings.

And boy, were there toppings! You could choose from classic favorites like pepperoni and mushroom to more exotic creations featuring artichoke or eggplant. I opted for my usual favorite — prosciutto, arugula, and mozzarella — and boy was it delicious!

The service at Village Pizza is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure you have enough drinks, napkins, utensils etc. They even provide complimentary desserts if your order comes to over $20!

Overall I highly recommend Village Pizza of Nags Head — they serve up some of the best pizza in Nags Head NC hands down!

#2 MADISONS PIZZA

I was stoked when I heard about this place and was prepared to be disappointed as is often the case. Little did I know, however, that this pizzeria was going to exceed my expectations.

The food here is really something else! The cheese had a great flavor, and the crust was perfectly crunchy. Every topping I had on it gave it just the right amount of zest. And let me tell you, that garlic sauce drizzled on top completed the picture.

As for atmosphere, MADISONS PIZZA is also a nice tourist spot. There’s a good vibe in here – friendly staff and happy customers, so smiles all around! Plus, they have some fun arcade games and pinball machines in the back if you’re feeling adventurous or just trying to keep your kid occupied while waiting for their pizza. Unfortunately they don’t offer delivery service, but it’s definitely worth the trip in person.

All in all, MADISONS PIZZA has pretty much everything you could want out of a pizzeria – delicious food and good vibes! If you’re ever in Nags Head NC looking for some of the best pizza around then MADISSONS PIZZA should be at top of your list!

#3 Nags Head Pizza Company

I visited the restaurant and was impressed by the mouth watering aromas that greeted me upon entering. The staff also made sure to greet me with a warm smile, which was not only welcoming but also greatly appreciated.

When it came to ordering, I knew I had to try the best pizza in Nags Head NC and I wasn’t disappointed! The crust was cooked perfectly, making it crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside – exactly how I like my pizza! The toppings were generous yet not overwhelming and everything melted together into one delicious bite.

To top it off, Nags Head Pizza Company’s prices are very reasonable. You’d expect quality like this would cost an arm and a leg but mine only cost me two elbows!

The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and relaxed. It’s a great retreat from the monotony of everyday life. I quickly realized that their pizza was something special the moment it hit my mouth – perfectly-cooked to perfection with a delicious combination of fresh ingredients.

What really made Slice Pizzeria stand out for me was their unique combinations and flavors. They offer some of the most unique pizzas that I’ve ever tasted! From sweet to savory, whatever you’re craving, they got it. Even their more traditional offerings were beyond delicious thanks to a perfect balance of flavor and textures from the toppings.

I must mention how friendly the staff were too – always going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. And not to forget about the prices – one of the best deals around for such quality pizza!

Overall, Slice Pizzeria definitely deserves its title as having some of the best pizza in Nags Head NC. If you’re ever in town, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit – you won’t be disappointed!

I’m usually skeptical when restaurants boast that their pizza is the best, but Sal’s proved me wrong. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I could smell the delicious aroma of freshly-baked New York-style pizza. Though the interior was small and unassuming, it was very welcoming and inviting.

The service was just as good as the pizza. The staff were friendly, helpful and eager to please. They took great care to ensure my order was perfect and presented on a hot plate right out of the oven.

The pizza was excellent! It had a light crispy crust and plenty of gooey cheese with generous toppings. If you’re looking for classic New York-style pizza in Nags Head NC – Sal’s is definitely worth checking out!

#6 Dare Devil’s Pizzeria

The thing I love the most – they serve alcohol! For those nights when you need just a little something extra with your pizza, Dare Devil’s delivers. But it doesn’t end there – they have an impressive collection of hard liquor, too.

For families with kids, Dare Devil’s Pizzeria offers a great kid’s menu and dessert selection to ensure that everyone can find something they like. Plus, the atmosphere is pretty kid-friendly too. All in all, it makes for a great place for tourists or locals to go for some delicious pizza and good times.

And speaking of good times, what better way to watch the big game than at Dare Devil’s? Sports fanatics will find plenty of TVs in the restaurant, so you won’t miss out on any part of the action!

The atmosphere at Max’s is also top notch. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they make you feel right at home while you wait for your pizza. The decor is a mix of Italian chic and beachside vibe, making it perfect for an evening out with friends or family.

To top it all off, their prices are reasonable considering the quality of their food. And did I mention that their Sicilian pizza rivals some of the best I’ve ever had in Sicily?

The pizza dough and sauce was mouth-wateringly delicious with just the right amount of seasonings. After my first bite, I knew I had discovered something special. The crust was perfectly cooked, buttery and flavorful.

The toppings were also top notch. The vegetables were crisp and cut just right, while the cheeses were creamy and full of flavor. Every bite was an exciting experience as I uncovered what gems this pizza had in store for me!

The atmosphere at Garden Deli & Pizzeria was wonderful too. It’s a quaint, cozy restaurant that has an inviting feel with friendly staff and great music.

I can confidently say that Garden Deli & Pizzeria has the best pizza in Nags Head NC – hands down! If you’re ever looking for some truly spectacular Italian-style cuisine then this is the spot to go!

#9 Vinny’s Pizza Joint

My first impression of this restaurant was that it had a great atmosphere. The decor was simple and homey, with Italian-style artwork adorning the walls. Tables were spaced apart at a reasonable distance, making for an intimate dining experience.

The service was incredibly friendly. My waiter, Vinny himself, greeted me like I was an old friend. He even went out of his way to make sure all my questions about the menu were answered quickly and accurately.

Next, it was time for the main event: pizza! I decided to try the sausage and pepperoni pizza which was cooked to perfection in a wood burning oven. The dough had just enough crunch and flavor while toppings were plentiful and freshly prepared. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

All in all, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Nags Head NC then Vinny’s Pizza Joint is an excellent choice. No matter what kind of pizza you decide on, you won’t be disappointed!

#10 Pizzazz Pizza of Nags Head

The service was incredible – they were so friendly and attentive to my every need (even when I requested crazy toppings!). The crust was perfectly golden brown, with a hint of spice that will tantalize your taste buds. And the cheese – oh, the cheese! It was perfectly gooey and flavorful, with just the right amount of melty goodness.

And last but not least, the toppings! They had a huge variety of options so you can make your own masterpiece – from classic pepperoni and sausage to more exotic options like artichokes and spinach. My personal favorite is their “Supreme Pizza” which is loaded with all the best ingredients.

To sum it up, Pizzazz Pizza of Nags Head has to be one of the best pizzas in Nags Head NC. Hands down. If you haven’t tried it for yourself yet – what are you waiting for? Go get yourself some Pizzazz today!

The flavor is spot on. The crust is light and crispy, the cheese is delicious and abundant, and the sauce has just the right amount of spice. To make it even better, they load it up with all kinds of yummy toppings!

The atmosphere doesn’t hurt either. It’s got a great retro vibe with its tables covered in checkered tablecloths and fun submarine-themed decor. The staff there are always friendly and welcoming, so you know you’re in for a good time.

No wonder people come from miles around to taste Yellow Submarine’s pizza. They’ve earned their reputation as the “go-to” place for the best pizza in Nags Head NC!

#12 Little Caesars Pizza

No matter what my pizza craving, Little Caesars Pizza has something that tickles my taste buds. Their deep dish pizzas are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had! They always have the perfect amount of cheese and sauce to create a crispy outer layer with a soft, chewy inner layer. Plus, their signature Crazy Bread is an absolute must-have – it’s like breadsticks, but better!

The atmosphere at Little Caesars Pizza is great as well. It’s always clean and inviting. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they truly go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience possible.

Overall, I can honestly say that Little Caesars Pizza in Nags Head NC has some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! My only regret is not being able to sample more menu items…I guess there’s always next time!
