Speaking of good pizza, I’ve filled up on some great slices all over the world. From Naples to New York and everywhere in between, I’ve sampled some spectacular pies. But my latest expedition has brought me to Oviedo in search of Plateau state’s best pizza.

My journey began with a mission to explore twelve different pizza places in Oviedo. And believe me, it was an enlightening and tasty experience! Despite the challenges that came my way, I’m confident that after this review you’ll know exactly which pizzeria is your local go-to spot for delicious grub.

#1 CupPasta & Pizza Oviedo

The restaurant itself is cozy, with a quaint outdoor patio and warm interior that make you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to the menu and made sure I was well taken care of during my visit.

Now onto the pizza! I tried their classic pepperoni and it definitely did not disappoint. The sauce was full of flavor, the cheese melted perfectly, and the crust was just the right combination of crunchy and fluffy.

I also tried their veggie option which had loads of roasted vegetables on top. Each one tasted fresh, rather than frozen or canned, which you don’t get at most places.

I can confidently say that my experience at CupPasta & Pizza Oviedo was one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever had in my travels. Their commitment to fresh ingredients combined with their attentive service makes this place a must-visit for any true pizza lover.

#2 Lil Vinny’s Pizza and Pasta

I found this place quite by accident, by the way; I was just walking along and saw a sign that said “Lil Vinny’s” with a picture of a smiling Italian chef underneath. I decided to give it a try, and boy am I glad I did!

From the moment I stepped into Lil Vinny’s Pizza and Pasta, every sense was tantalized. The smell of freshly baked dough filled the air, and the sounds of bubbling cheese from the ovens made my mouth water. All of their ingredients were incredibly fresh; you could even watch them chopping up vegetables for toppings right in front of you!

The pizza itself was without a doubt the best I’ve ever tasted in Oviedo. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, just like what you’d get in Italy. The sauce had just enough spice to make your tongue tingle but not overpowering like so many other pizzerias do. And every topping was carefully chosen and cooked so that it melded together into pure pizza perfection!

All in all, Lil Vinny’s Pizza and Pasta is definitely the best pizza joint in Oviedo; they serve up truly authentic Italian experiences right here at home. Highly recommended if you’re ever in town!

#3 Flippers Pizzeria

My experience began when I walked into the cozy dining room. All of the staff were warm and friendly, and I was immediately seated. The decor was inviting, with wood-paneled walls, candles, and old Italian movies playing on the TVs.

When my pizza arrived, I was blown away by how delicious it was. The crust was perfectly cooked to just the right amount of crunchiness and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. This isn’t your typical chain pizzeria!

I even had a chance to speak with the owner, who’s been in business since 1985, and he gave me some insight into why all their pizzas come out so great – they use only high-quality ingredients like fresh vegetables from local farms and freshly made dough every day. That sure explains why Flippers is consistently voted as one of Oviedo’s best pizzerias!

I’d highly recommend checking out Flippers for yourself if you’re ever in town. You won’t be disappointed – trust me!

#4 Café Panuzzo’s

The first thing that stands out at Café Panuzzo’s is the wide selection of pizzas they have to offer. From classic Margherita pizza to gourmet creations like their signature ‘Eggplant Parmigiana Pizza’, there’s something for everyone. Their menu also includes a variety of salads, pastas, and sandwiches, so there’s definitely something for all tastes.

The pizza itself is made with the freshest ingredients and cooked in their wood-fired oven, which really gives it an authentic and delicious flavor. Even though I was looking for better quality than what I could find back home, Café Panuzzo’s really did not disappoint!

The staff here is friendly and accommodating; they always make sure you feel welcome when you arrive. The prices are also quite reasonable, so it won’t break the bank if you feel like indulging yourself with a few slices of pizza (or two)!

#5 Monte Vesuvio Italian Grill

Their wide variety of pizzas on the menu means there’s something for everyone, and I can say with certainty that whatever combination of toppings you choose, it’s sure to be delicious. The crust was crunchy yet light and airy, indicating a perfect balance of dough-making. As for the quality of ingredients, the classic margherita pizza had tasty tomatoes and gooey mozzarella.

The ambiance was great too. The staff is friendly and attentive, and their enthusiasm for food was infectious. Even if you’re not a fan of pizza, Monte Vesuvio Italian Grill has plenty of mouthwatering Italian dishes to choose from.

#6 Circosta’s Italian Ristorante

On my first visit, I knew that this place was going to be special. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a lively Italian vibe that filled the room. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and was enjoying their meal.

The pizza was out of this world! Everything from the crust to the topping combinations were well thought out and executed. The sauce was flavorful and the cheese melted perfectly over the top of the ingredients – it was divine!

The service was also top-notch. Our server greeted us with a smile and gave us recommendations on what kind of pizza to order, which turned out to be spot on. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help in any way they can.

Overall, Circosta’s can easily lay claim to best pizza in Oviedo – it’s simply that good! If you’re looking for a delicious slice or two (or even an entire pie!), then I highly recommend making a stop at Circosta’s Italian Ristorante!

#7 North End Pizza

When I first walked into this cozy pizza joint, I was taken aback by the decor. While it’s clearly not meant to be a fancy restaurant, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really made me feel at home.

Now on to the pizza! From thin-crust to thick-crust, they had everything I could want in a pizza – plus more! The crusts were cooked perfectly; light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch. As for the toppings, they were all fresh and bursting with flavor. Even better, the pizzas came out piping hot and oozing with cheese!

If you’re looking for the best pizza in Oviedo, look no further than North End Pizza. They have an amazing selection of pizzas that all taste like perfection. My only complaint? I can’t eat all their delicious pizzas in one day!

#8 Cucinella’s Brick Oven Pizzeria

I recently stopped in for a bite and was greeted by some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The warm atmosphere only added to the delicious smell of baking pizza that filled the air.

The food itself was absolutely divine! I had two slices of their pepperoni pizza and they tasted like nothing else I’ve ever tried before. The crust was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the topping was just the right combination of sweetness and saltiness. You could tell that all their ingredients were fresh, as each bit was bursting with flavor in my mouth!

Furthermore, Cucinella’s Brick Oven Pizzeria also offers a wide selection of unique pies such as their famous “Margarita” or “Four Cheese” pizzas. Each pie is made in their traditional wood burning oven which adds an extra layer of smokiness to their already delicious pies – truly elevating them to the next level!

Overall, I give Cucinella’s Brick Oven Pizzeria five stars for providing some of the best pizza in Oviedo. If you’re looking for an unforgettable pizza experience, then this is definitely the place you need to check out!

#9 Mad Hatter’s Pizza

I was blown away by the quality of the pies they serve here. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, almost like a cracker. It’s so good that I didn’t even need to add cheese! The sauce is sweet and tangy, with a hint of oregano – yum!

The toppings are top-notch too. They offer unique combinations that you won’t find anywhere else, like their Italian Sausage/Spicy Pepperoni pizza with fresh basil and garlic. Believe me – it’s amazing! I loved how the ingredients combined together for a powerful flavor experience.

To top it all off, the staff was friendly and helpful – not to mention fast! My order was ready before I knew it and the atmosphere inside Mad Hatter’s Pizza made me feel right at home. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for the best pizza in Oviedo – no question about it!

#10 Torino’s Pizza & Italian restaurant

I visited Torino’s on a warm afternoon and was greeted by the friendly owners and staff. The restaurant is small, but cozy. The decor reminds me of old Italian restaurants I’ve seen during my travels – nothing fancy, but it has a lot of character.

The menu offers several classic options like margherita, pepperoni, or veggie-lovers pizzas. Along with delicious pizza, they also serve pasta dishes, salads and other Italian specialties. You can get their delightful pizza to go or you can dine in and I highly recommend doing so!

When I ordered the ‘Grandma Pizza’ with fresh tomatoes & basil, I knew it would be good just from the smell alone! It had just the right amount of sauce and cheese, plus the crust was crispy yet fluffy at the same time – an ideal combination for an amazing pizza experience. I was absolutely delighted with my meal!

If you want a taste of Italy without leaving Oviedo, this is your best bet for that authentic Italian flavor – truly the best pizza in town!

#11 Papa Braulio’s Pizzeria

From the moment I stepped into Papa Braulio’s, I knew it was something special. The friendly staff enthusiastically welcomed me and set me up with my very own personal pizza chef! With all the ingredients laid out before me, I got to pick each and every topping to customize my pizzas just the way I like.

When my pizzas finally came out of the oven, it all seemed too good to be true! Crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside – these pies were a 10/10! My tastebuds were in heaven with this restaurant’s specialty blend of cheese. It was flavorful, creamy, and slightly salty – a match made in pizza paradise!

The side dishes at Papa Braulio’s also exceeded expectations. The garlic knots were wonderfully crunchy and full of flavor, while their salads were light and refreshing. In addition to an extensive drinks selection, they even serve up some delicious Italian-style desserts.

I can definitively say that Papa Braulio’s Pizzeria is hands down the best pizza place in Oviedo! If you’re ever in town, make sure not to miss this awesome restaurant!

#12 Victorio’s Oyster Bar & Grille / Oviedo

Sure, you won’t find it delivered to your door (which is an unfortunate downside), but if you can make it to the restaurant, you’re in for a treat. From start to finish, this place has something for everyone.

For starters, they have plenty of options for those looking for some adult beverages while enjoying their meal. There’s also a kid’s menu with delicious and fun options that kids will love. For vegetarians, there’s a nice selection of veggie-based pizzas and other dishes – like the amazing eggplant Parmesan! And of course no meal would be complete without dessert – Victorio’s offers a variety of desserts that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

But what really makes this place special is the pizza itself – it is truly some of the best in Oviedo! It has all the great ingredients: fresh dough made daily, flavorful sauce, and high-quality cheese and toppings.

Lastly, if you’re looking for a great place to watch sports or have a casual night out with family or friends, Victorio’s Oyster Bar & Grille / Oviedo is definitely the spot. With its relaxed atmosphere and delicious food and drinks, everyone is sure to have a great time!
