#1 YORK54 Pizza

The atmosphere was great, with cheerful staff and customers, a modern yet cozy décor, and of course the aroma of freshly-cooked pizza in the air.
The pizza itself was excellent. The crust had just the right amount of crunch – not too crispy nor too floppy – and the cheese was cheesy perfection. Toppings were also top notch; they tasted fresh and flavorful, with creative combinations that weren’t over-the-top or gimmicky.
The service was fast and friendly as well – our order was taken promptly, we received our pizzas within 15 minutes, and refills came quickly without having to ask for them. I especially appreciated the server’s knowledge of the menu items; he answered all my questions precisely and wasn’t afraid to give his opinion on what might be best.
Overall, it’s no wonder why YORK54 Pizza is considered one of the best places for pizza in York ME: delicious food, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere! Highly recommended!

At first glance it seems like a typical pizza joint, but the moment you walk in and take in the friendly atmosphere you know that this is not your ordinary pizza restaurant. #6 Ruby’s Wood Grill
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Great place to watch sports
- Has a kid’s menu
- Nice tourist spot
- Offers dessert
- No delivery
They offer a great selection of toppings, some of those being unusual for pizza, like chicken and pineapple. The atmosphere is just as delicious. There’s even a bar where I can order my favorite beer or hard liquor to go with the fantastic pie!
The kids menu looks tasty too, which is always a plus. And when I’m done, I can stay for another round of drinks and watch sports on the big screen. To top it off, there are a few different desserts to choose from should I want something sweet afterwards.
Now here’s the downside – Ruby’s Wood Grill doesn’t deliver pizza. But that shouldn’t be too much of a problem since their location is one of the most popular tourist spots in town! So if you’re looking for the best pizza in York ME, make your way to Ruby’s Wood Grill. It really is worth it!

#9 Woodys Brick Oven Pizza
- Serves alcohol
- Nice tourist spot

The atmosphere is always great; they have a nice, cozy spot to eat, and even serve alcohol! I usually order their large cheese pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The crust is perfectly cooked and crunchy on the outside, with a soft, chewy center. The combination of cheese, pepperoni and sausage gives it a heavenly flavor.
The only thing that could make Woodys Brick Oven Pizza better would be if they had delivery service. But I think it’s worth the trip – it’s an excellent tourist spot too!
All in all, Woodys Brick Oven Pizza is definitely my favorite pizza joint in York ME – hands down, the best pizza around!
#10 Roberto’s

I was impressed from the moment I stepped through the doors, finding a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, eager to help make sure I found exactly what I wanted.
The menu had something for everyone, with a selection of adults-only alcoholic beverages (including hard liquor!), a kid’s menu, and plenty of creative pizza topping combos. It seemed like there was something for everyone!
Speaking of topping combos, I’m glad to report that Roberto’s makes insanely good dessert pizzas! My personal favorite: banana cream with hot fudge and mini marshmallows. Delicious!
As great as Roberto’s is, there is one slight downside: they don’t deliver. So if you want to enjoy their amazing pizza creations, you’ll have to make the trip yourself. It’s worth it though – trust me!

#11 The Napoli’s – Italian Kitchen & Bar
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Nice tourist spot
- Offers dessert
- Has a kid’s menu
The restaurant is clean and unpretentious, but makes quite the impression when it comes to pizza. Their signature pies are hand-tossed with secret family recipes that will make any pizza-lover swoon.
The toppings are fresh, flavorful, and expertly portioned — not too much so you never miss out on a single delicious bite! The crusts are crispy yet chewy with just the right amount of char and smokey flavor.
I especially enjoyed their fun selection of specialty pizzas. The Roasted Squash Gorgonzola has layers of roasted squash, smoky gorgonzola crumbles, mozzarella, and garlic cream sauce that pair together perfectly. Not to mention the entrée salads — like the Caprese salad with roasted red peppers, mozzarella di bufala, cherry tomatoes in olive oil — which are ideal for lighter eaters or those looking for a side dish.
Overall I was very impressed by The Napoli’s – Italian Kitchen & Bar and can confidently say that they serve some of the best pizza in York ME!
