You know a city is serious about pizza when they already have 12 places in operation! Naturally, I had to investigate and find out which of these places served up the best slices.

I’m ready to share the results of my research in a lighthearted review of the local scene. You could say I’ve tasted all corners of the world (in pizza form), so I can make some fun comparisons! Get ready, because we’re about to find out what makes Cathedral City’s pizzas stand out from the rest.

#1 Upper Crust Pizza

The crust was cooked to perfection–brown and crunchy on the outside, yet deliciously chewy on the inside. It’s clear a lot of attention went into making sure the dough wasn’t too thick or thin.

The sauce was vibrant, balanced between sweet and tangy, giving the pizza just enough kick without overpowering it. And topping it off were generous amounts of fresh mozzarella cheese which melted perfectly under the heat of the oven.

I’ve had a lot of pizzas in my day, but Upper Crust Pizza really blew me away. I found myself wanting more and more! From its cozy atmosphere to its friendly staff, this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Cathedral City!

#2 Capizzi’s Cheesecakes Pizza…and then some

I’m a food critic, so my standards are very high when it comes to pizza. From the moment I walked into Capizzi’s, I could tell that this place was something special. The smell of freshly-baked pizza dough wafting through the air was enough to make my mouth water.

The atmosphere at Capizzi’s was comfortable and inviting – perfect for enjoying a slice of their delicious pizza. The walls were adorned with pictures of cheesy pies, and it felt like a little piece of Italy in the middle of Cathedral City.

When it came time to order, I knew exactly what I wanted: the classic pepperoni pie. As soon as it arrived at my table, I could tell that Capizzi’s had done an excellent job in creating this pizza masterpiece. The crust was light and fluffy, while the toppings were plentiful and flavorful. Each bite was truly perfection on a plate!

Overall, if you’re looking for some really amazing pizza in Cathedral City, look no further than Capizzi’s Cheesecakes Pizza…and then some! It might just be the best pizza in town!

#3 Pizzeria Bambinos & Bar

The atmosphere is charming and inviting. From the moment I stepped in, I knew this was going to be an incredible experience. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed for a great meal.

The menu also looked amazing, with a wide selection of pizza options. We went for the standard Meat Lover’s, which was absolutely divine! The combination of meats was perfection and the crust was so thin and crunchy, it felt like it melted in my mouth!

We also tried their garlic breadstix, which were out-of-this-world delicious! They had just the right amount of garlic flavor without being too overwhelming. And the cheese on top added a nice cheesy kick at the end.

To top off our meal, we got one of their signature desserts – a Nutella calzone. It might have been one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! The pastry dough was super soft and fluffy while still having a good crunch on the outside. And that Nutella filling? Life changing!

Pizzeria Bambinos & Bar definitely lived up to its billing as one of the best pizza restaurants in Cathedral City. If you’re ever looking for some delicious Italian food, this is definitely worth checking out!

#4 Giuseppe’s Pizza and Pasta

I was immediately taken by the warm, inviting atmosphere of Giuseppe’s when I walked in. The decor is simple yet cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Upon further inspection, I noticed that their pizza ingredients were all top-notch–freshly made dough, freshly grated cheese, and premium meats and vegetables.

The pizza itself was nothing short of amazing! The crust had just the right amount of crispness and chewiness. The topping selection was vast and allowed me to customize my pizza according to my own tastes. To top it off (literally), there was an abundance of tasty cheese on each piece!

I have to say–Giuseppe’s Pizza and Pasta has some of the best pizza in Cathedral City! Plus, all their pastas are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. If you’re ever in town looking for a good place for Italian food, Giuseppe’s should be first on your list!

#5 Bill’s Pizza

Upon entering Bill’s Pizza, an inviting atmosphere hits you with a warm welcome. The menu selection is great for all – you can find everything from a menu for the kiddos to the vegetarian options. Plus, they even offer dessert and alcoholic beverages.

The pizza itself was amazing; it had just the right amount of crusty dough and perfectly gooey cheese, combined with umami-rich ingredients that make it hard to forget! I felt like I was in Italy when I tasted Bill’s Pizza – no exaggeration!

Although there is one downside: There’s no delivery option – so everyone looking to get their pizza fix at home will have to take a trip down to Bill’s Pizza (which isn’t too hard!).

In conclusion, if you’re ever in Cathedral City and looking for great pizza, then look no further than Bill’s Pizza. You won’t be disappointed – trust me, a world-traveling food critic who has been around the block!

#6 The Original Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant

My first experience of the restaurant was nothing short of amazing; from the moment I stepped inside, I knew that this place was special. The intense smells and welcoming staff only added to my anticipation for what was about to come.

I ordered the Garlic-Herb-Tomato pizza, and it did not disappoint! The thin crust and perfectly melted cheese complimented the freshly cut tomatoes and herbs, making each bite an explosion of flavor! The combination of flavors perfectly balanced each other out in harmony.

The service at The Original Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant is top-notch as well—the servers were friendly and attentive throughout my meal. They even provided recommendations on what dishes to have if I found my initial choice too plain or lacking flavor (which it certainly wasn’t!).

Overall, if you’re looking for a great place to get pizza in Cathedral City, then I highly recommend heading down to The Original Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

#7 Blaze Pizza

When you walk in, you can practically smell the deliciousness in the air. The dough is hand-crafted every day and cooked to a golden-brown perfection. The signature Blaze Pizza sauce is made from fresh tomatoes, garlic, herbs and spices.

The topping choices are endless! You can get anything from classic pepperoni, to vegan veggies, to artichokes and feta—the combinations are virtually limitless! Plus, the staff at Blaze Pizza really knows their stuff; they’re always willing to help with your order and suggest the perfect combination for your pizza.

Don’t miss out on their homemade desserts either! From chocolate chip cookies to s’mores pies—you won’t believe how good they taste!

All in all, I think Blaze Pizza is probably the best pizza joint in Cathedral City! If you haven’t been yet, don’t hesitate any longer—go try it out right away!

#8 Slice Italia – N.Y. Style Pizzeria + Kitchen

The atmosphere at Slice Italia is cozy and inviting, like a home away from home. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

The pizza was incredible! They offer a variety of different styles – including classic New York style, Sicilian, Stromboli and more. I opted for the classic NY-style large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese – it was easily one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The crust was crispy and flavorful, the sauce tangy, and the cheese gooey and delicious.

I would highly recommend Slice Italia to anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Cathedral City. I know I’ll be back soon for another slice (or two)!

#9 Mario’s Italian Cafe

When I walked in, I was immediately bombarded with the heady aroma of freshly made pizza dough and melted cheese. It was like a dream come true! The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive to my every need – they even brought me out some special samples of their in-house pizzas just for being there.

The food itself was absolutely delicious – from the cheesy crusts to the robust flavor of the sauce and toppings, it all sang on my tongue. I’m still dreaming about how amazing it all tasted! Not too greasy or salty either, which is always nice.

I can’t speak highly enough about Mario’s Italian Cafe. The atmosphere and decor were top-notch as well: stone walls, wood tables, plenty of cozy booths to enjoy your meal in, and an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs in action! My only regret is that I can’t eat their pizzas every day!

#10 Round Table Pizza

On my recent visit, I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a cool mural on the wall and plenty of tables to accommodate any size party.

The pizza itself was phenomenal! They have a variety of options to choose from, but I opted for their classic cheese pizza – it was delicious! The crust was cooked perfectly without being too crunchy. The cheese was melted just right and had an amazing flavor. The toppings were also fresh, plentiful and tasted amazing.

To top off the experience, they offer a great selection of sides including garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, stuffed cheesy breadsticks and more! All in all, Round Table Pizza was definitely worth the trip. If you’re ever in Cathedral City looking for some great pizza – this should be your first stop!

#11 Romanos Pizza Subs And Salads

The atmosphere was perfect for trying out some of their signature pies. The welcoming staff was great and the menu had plenty of choices to choose from. I decided to go with the classic pepperoni pizza, as it’s one of my favorites.

I must say, it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted! The dough was perfectly cooked, with a nice crunchy edge. The sauce and cheese were top-notch, with just enough seasoning to make it flavorful without being overbearing. And let’s not forget about that incredible pepperoni- it had an excellent taste and texture that made my mouth water.

All in all, Romanos Pizza Subs And Salads is definitely one of the best places for pizza in Cathedral City. Whether you’re looking for a quick slice while running errands or a full meal with friends and family, they have you covered! I highly recommend giving them a try – You won’t regret it!

#12 Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant

From the moment I entered, I was overwhelmed with a delicious aroma of fresh dough, herbs, and cheese. The friendly staff welcomed me warmly and shared details about how they make their homemade sauces and hand-tossed pizzas. As I waited for my order, it was clear that Nicolino’s has a real passion for making amazing pies.

When my pizza arrived, I was impressed by the presentation! The thin crust was crispy around the edges yet just the right amount of doughy in the middle. The toppings were extremely fresh and vibrant in color and flavor. And don’t even get me started on the sauce – so flavorful with a hint of garlic that left me wanting more.

All in all, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Cathedral City, Nicolino’s is the place to go. Outstanding service, tasty ingredients, and an inviting atmosphere – what more can a pizza lover ask for?
