I’m sure it’s not news to the locals that this little Illinois town has some of the best pizza around. But just in case you needed some further convincing, I recently visited 12 different pizza places and tasted slices from each one. Here’s a humorous and lighthearted account of my findings on the best pizza in Dekalb IL.

#1 Dough Brothers Pizzeria

I arrived at the restaurant, and I was immediately happy with the ambiance. The staff greeted me warmly and showed me their extensive menu, which had some of the most creative and interesting ingredients I have ever seen on a pizza.
The dough is what makes Dough Brothers Pizzeria stand out from other pizza restaurants. The crust is light and airy, with just enough crunch to give it a great texture. The toppings could not be fresher; my favorite was their Supreme Pizza loaded with all kind of delicious goodies! The sauce was flavorful too, almost like it was crafted by a master chef!
For dessert I went for their Chocolate Brownie Pizza which would be worth recommending on its own! Rich chocolate chunks melted in my mouth as the smooth brownie base crisped up slightly at the edges – so good!
To sum up my experience at Dough Brothers Pizzeria: they definitely make some of the best pizza in Dekalb IL – but you don’t even have to take my word for it; just try them out and taste it yourself!

Of course, the service at Sam’s Pizza Sycamore was top notch as well. The employees were friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions about the various pizzas on offer.
Plus, I really appreciate that Sam’s Pizza Sycamore takes pride in its craftsmanship. They don’t just slap together a pizza before shoving it into an oven; they take time with each pizza to make sure every bite is perfect!
At the end of my meal, I had nothing but good things to say about Sam’s Pizza Sycamore. This refreshingly honest place serves up some of the best pizza in Dekalb IL!
#3 JB’s World Famous Pizza

I walked into the pizzeria and was immediately struck by the aroma of freshly cooked dough and tomato sauce. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to my overall impression of the place. I ordered a classic cheese pizza, as well as a few slices of their more exotic offerings – pineapples and jalapenos – and dug in.
The pizza was delicious. The crust was light, crisp, yet chewy – just what you’d expect from a quality pizza shop! The cheese was melted perfectly, while the toppings had been cooked to perfection. Even the pineapple added just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the savory flavors of the other toppings.
As someone who has tried some of the best pizzas around the world, I can say with confidence that JB’s World Famous Pizza is one of the best in Dekalb IL – if not beyond! Their attention to detail in perfecting each slice is evident from my first bite to my last. Highly recommended for when you’re looking for a great pizza experience.

I recently visited the restaurant for lunch and was delighted by the abundance of choices. From classic pizzas like pepperoni and cheese to creative specialty pies, there’s something for everyone. The slices were huge as well – enough to make two meals out of one!
The pizza was cooked to perfection – golden and crispy on the outside while still soft and chewy on the inside. The ingredient combinations were both delicious and unique – I had a hard time choosing just one slice!

The service was fast and friendly, as the staff were all eager to help me find my perfect pizza. From the classic Margherita to the more unique ‘Dekalb Special’, Giordano’s has something for everyone.
The atmosphere at Giordano’s is warm and inviting. The decor is modern and cozy, making it a great place to hang out with friends.
As for the pizza itself, I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The crust was perfectly crisp and cheesy – just the way I like it! The toppings were fresh and flavorful, too. And of course, there’s no better way to top off your pizza than with their signature house-made garlic knots – YUM!

When I entered the restaurant, I was met with a friendly welcome and clean tables. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were eager to help. Even though it was busy, they still made time to answer all my questions about their pizzas.
The menu offered an extensive array of classic and specialty pizzas to choose from. I decided to go with the classic cheese pizza, topped with extra pepperoni, olives, peppers, mushrooms and onions—and oh my goodness did it ever hit the spot! The crust was perfectly crispy yet fluffy in the middle – definitely one of the best crusts I’ve ever had! The toppings were fresh and flavorful—each bite just melted in my mouth.
For me, no visit is complete without tasting their famous garlic knots as well – they were perfection! Soft on the outside yet crunchy on the inside with just enough garlic flavor – my taste buds were beyond happy!
In conclusion, I gotta say that Pizza Hut definitely does have some of the best pizza around Dekalb IL – you’ve just got to try it for yourself!
