After trying out 12 different places, I’m ready to declare which of the pizzas is the absolute best in town.

This wasn’t an arbitrarily chosen number – I’m a discerning critic who approaches each slice with a critical eye and stomach.

#1 Surf’s Edge Deli & Pizzeria

The first thing that struck me was the expansive menu. In addition to their signature pizzas, they also offer a selection of calzones, subs, pasta dishes, and salads. With so many options, I had trouble deciding what to order!

Fortunately, I settled on one of their signature pizzas–a classic Margherita with zesty tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and fragrant basil leaves. It did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly crunchy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

The atmosphere of Surf’s Edge Deli & Pizzeria is also noteworthy: it has an inviting beach-side vibe that makes you want to stay all day long. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure we were taken care of throughout our entire meal–even bringing us complimentary breadsticks as an extra treat.

#2 DeVito’s Italian Deli & Sub

The atmosphere of the restaurant is a hidden gem, with its cozy Italian décor it’s almost like you’ve stepped into the heart of Italy. The staff are friendly and welcoming, plus they all have an amazing knowledge of Italian food.

When it comes to the food itself, oh boy! I haven’t had pizza this good since my last visit to Napoli. From the light and airy crust to the delicious sauce and perfectly cooked toppings, this is easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. They also offer an extensive range of other Italian deli items such as prosciutto and mozzarella which are equally delicious.

I’m sure if I keep coming back to Fenwick Island again and again that DeVito’s Italian Deli & Sub will remain my go-to spot for some of the best pizza in town! Highly recommend!

#3 Pomodoro Pizzeria

The atmosphere is great for tourists looking for a nice spot to sit and take in the view. The restaurant itself provides plenty of seating, and their servers were very friendly.

As far as food goes, their pizza was the highlight of the meal. Their vegetarian options were especially nice, with lots of tasty toppings. I found that some of their pizzas had surprisingly unique flavor combinations that really punched up the taste! And overall it was one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve ever had.

My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery service. However, if you’re in Fenwick Island anyway, it’s worth taking a few minutes to get there and enjoy their pizza fresh!

So if you’re looking for the best pizza in Fenwick Island, then Pomodoro Pizzeria is definitely worth checking out!

#4 Trattoria Lombardi’s Restaurant

Right when we walked in, I was immediately impressed with the ambiance. The dimly lit restaurant with Italian-style decor gave it a warm atmosphere that put me in a great mood.

The menu was pretty diverse, featuring options for everyone. There were even some vegetarian options (always a plus!), and if that wasn’t enough, there were several alcoholic beverages to choose from – including hard liquor, making it the perfect place for adults and kids alike!

We decided to try the pizza of course, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best pizzas I had ever tasted! The crust was perfectly crispy on the edges and soft and doughy in the middle; the cheese was plentiful but not overwhelming; and the sauce added just enough flavor without being too spicy. Needless to say, we all enjoyed it immensely.

For dessert, we had their famous cannolis which were just as delicious as our pizza. My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery. Being a traveling food critic on-the-go I could have definitely used some delivery service! Other than that small issue, Trattoria Lombardi’s Restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Fenwick Island craving some of the best pizza around!

#5 Albertino’s Brick Oven Eatery

First, you can’t beat the atmosphere. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and family, and they have a kid’s menu too – so no one gets left out! Plus they serve alcohol (and hard liquor!) which might just make this the best pizza place in Fenwick Island.

But don’t let the good vibes distract you from what really matters – the pizza! So far, I’ve had several delicious slices here and have been blown away by each one. The thin crust is perfectly cooked and every bite is full of flavor.

My advice would be to share a few different pies; that way you can try all their delicious offerings! And if you still have room after your meal, I recommend indulging in their insanely good dessert. It’s the perfect way to top of an amazing meal at Albertino’s Brick Oven Eatery.

What does this place lack? Delivery options… other than that, it exceeds expectations for sure! Whether you’re a local or just visiting Fenwick Island, if you’re on the hunt for some of the best pizza in town, Albertino’s Brick Oven Eatery is definitely your spot.

#6 Ponzetti’s Pizza

The restaurant has a great atmosphere that’s perfect for the adults looking to watch sports or the family looking to have a nice meal out. The kid’s menu is sure to please picky eaters and even better, they serve both beer and hard liquor!

Speaking of the menu, you cannot go wrong with any of their specialty pizzas as they are all made with fresh ingredients. My personal favorite is the cheeseburger pizza, which lives up to its name -it’s definitely worth a try! Ponzetti’s also offers some delicious desserts and you can top it all off with some ice-cold craft beer.

The only downside I found was that Ponzetti’s does not deliver, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth the trip. In fact, it gives me an excuse to get back again soon! All in all, Ponzetti’s Pizza is one of Fenwick Island’s best when it comes to great tasting pizza.

#7 Mancini’s Brick Oven Pizzeria and Restaurant

The first thing I noticed was how many options they had for diners – not only could I get my hands on some of the best pizza in Fenwick Island, but they have a really great selection of vegetarian options, a kid’s menu, and alcohol (including hard liquor!). And let me tell you, the dessert is absolutely insane. A great little tourist spot!

But it all comes down to the pizza. And Mancini’s definitely lives up to its reputation – their pies are incredibly delicious. They don’t skimp on the toppings either – generous portions that make every bite worth savoring.

The only downside I can think of is that they don’t deliver – but if you’re looking for the best pizza in Fenwick Island, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

#8 Fox’s Pizza Restaurant and Bar

From the moment I stepped into Fox’s Pizza Restaurant and Bar, I felt at home. The inviting atmosphere was only topped by the mouthwatering smell of their homemade pizzas. And my first bite only confirmed that I had found a real gem in Fenwick Island!

The pizza crust was light and fluffy, with the perfect amount of crunch to it. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. It’s obvious that they take their pizza very seriously in this establishment! Incidentally, they have some unique topping combinations that have been expertly created with balanced flavors and textures.

The service was outstanding too – the staff and management made sure everything ran smoothly throughout my visit. They even recommended a few special items on the menu; definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had at a pizza place!

If you’re looking for truly delicious pizza in Fenwick Island, look no further than Fox’s Pizza Restaurant & Bar. You won’t regret it – it’s some of the best pizza around!

#9 Squarz Pizza & Restaurant

The atmosphere at Squarz is fun, lively, and welcoming. It’s a great spot to take the family, as they offer a kid’s menu with delicious options. Plus, they serve alcohol to help parents relax after a long day of beach fun. And what could be better after a great pizza than some yummy dessert?

The pizza itself is top-notch! Their creative mix of delicious ingredients come together for a truly unique flavor experience and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Plus, the restaurant is an awesome place to watch sports games!

My only complaint about Squarz Pizza & Restaurant is that they don’t offer delivery services. But if you’re in town anyway, this is definitely the best option for pizza around.

#10 Grotto Pizza

The restaurant itself is an appealing dive. It definitely has a casual atmosphere, but it’s clean and inviting. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.

As for the pizza, I had the Margherita pizza, which was delicious! The crust was perfect – not too thick or thin – and cooked to perfection. The sauce was nicely seasoned with tomatoes and herbs that you can taste. The cheese used was also top-notch, giving it a unique taste that you won’t find anywhere else.

Overall, my experience at Grotto Pizza really hit the spot. Their pizzas are pretty much perfect – they get all the details right: great crust, flavorful sauce, fresh ingredients and excellent cheese. Every bite was truly enjoyable! It’s no wonder that people come from all over to try their pizzas; they are simply some of the best in Fenwick Island!

#11 Captain’s Pizza & Subs

When I arrived at Captain’s Pizza & Subs, I was immediately struck by the inviting and relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. The friendly staff were more than happy to help me decide what kind of pizza to get, and the range of options was impressive!

The pizzas themselves were truly a sight to behold! Deliciously crispy crusts and generous helpings of cheese and flavorful toppings made each slice incredibly decadent. The flavors lingered in my mouth long after each bite, making it almost impossible not to reach for another slice.

In addition to phenomenal pizza, Captain’s Pizza & Subs also offers some amazing subs. From classic Italian hoagies to steak and cheesesteaks, they’ve got something for everyone! My personal favorite was their Chicken Parmesan sub – it had just the right amount of sauce and cheese with juicy chicken strips that really hit the spot.

All in all, I give Captain’s Pizza & Subs 5 stars out of 5. It offers some of the best pizza in Fenwick Island, and its subs are nothing short of incredible. If you’re ever in town and in need of delicious pizza or subs, this is definitely a great place to go!

#12 Ledo Pizza

Their menu is so diverse and offers something for everyone, including a kid’s menu and some vegetarian options. But what really impressed me was their delicious desserts!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and it practically screamed tourist spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. They seemed to make sure each customer had an enjoyable experience in their restaurant, which I truly appreciated.

The only downside I could find was that there is no delivery option. Of course, this isn’t always a bad thing as you get to enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant while you eat your pizza.

Overall, Ledo Pizza is one of the best pizzerias I have visited on my travels and I would definitely recommend it to all my foodie friends looking for the best pizza in Fenwick Island!
