My experience at Pizzeoli was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the pizza was out of this world. #6 Pizza-A-Go-Go
- Has some vegetarian options
- No delivery
I’ve tried the traditional pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. The dough was light, the cheese was just stringy enough, and the pepperonis added a nice spicy kick. But what really surprised me were their vegetarian options. They have an innovative veggie delight with grilled zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli, olives and peppers that knocked my socks off!
The atmosphere of Pizza-A-Go-Go is also amazing. The restaurant has a cool retro vibe with vintage arcade games in one corner and old movie posters on the walls. The staff is friendly and helpful, always happy to recommend something new.
My only complaint about Pizza-A-Go-Go is that they don’t offer delivery. But I think that’s a small price to pay for some of the best pizza in St. Louis!

- Nice tourist spot
From the moment I stepped in their door, I was greeted with friendly smiles, a delicious smell and amazing atmosphere. The decor was modern yet comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a slice.
I ordered their most popular pizza, the Deluxe Cheese. It was two layers of fresh-baked crust topped with a generous helping of melted cheese and all the traditional toppings: pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers. Delicious! The flavors blended perfectly together for an unforgettable pizza experience.
The crust is fantastic – nice and thick but not too crunchy – and the sauce is rich and flavorful without being overpowering. In addition to the classic toppings there are plenty of other tasty options you can add to your pizza, like artichokes and anchovies.
All in all I’d highly recommend Pizza Head for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in St. Louis! With excellent quality food and great customer service, this is definitely one restaurant you won’t want to miss out on!
#8 Onesto Pizza & Trattoria
- Has a kid’s menu

The atmosphere is inviting and warm, and it helps that they serve alcohol, including hard liquor. I’m not sure what pizza has to do with hard liquor, but one can always dream!
The menu has something for everyone, from kids looking for a basic cheese pizza – which is the best after all – to those looking for more adventurous options like vegetarian toppings. Of course, I stuck with the classic pepperoni on mine.
My favorite part of Onesto was definitely the dessert. It gave me just enough energy to stay awake on my ride back home! The only downside of this restaurant was that they don’t offer delivery. But when you’re dealing with food this good – believe me – it’s worth it to pick it up yourself!

I must admit, I was skeptical when I first stepped into the restaurant. The small, family-owned spot didn’t look like a place to get great pizza. But boy was I wrong!
