After tasting a wide variety of pizza from eleven places in town, I am pleased to say that this small mountain village has some excellent pies. From thin-crust gourmet pizzas to deep-dish indulgences, I’ve sampled it all – and the verdict is in!

#1 Tin Plate

Their thin crust, wood-fired perfection is simply out of this world. The toppings are fresh and delicious, making every slice a delight. But what really sets them apart from all the other places I’ve tried is their alcohol selection (and hard liquor!). Who wouldn’t love a cold beer or glass of wine with their pizza?

The vegetarian options are also quite impressive. My fellow veggie friends were not disappointed by the selection at Tin Plate. And to top it off, they offer dessert too (it’s almost like they know me!)

The only downside is that they don’t deliver, so you have to go there to get your pizza fix. But with the nice tourist spot it’s situated in, that isn’t so bad!

Without a doubt, Tin Plate serves some of the best pizza in Breckenridge CO – you won’t be disappointed!

#2 Breckenridge Ale House & Pizza

The atmosphere is great – the pizza joint has that classic feel of a small-town, family owned pizza place. You can tell the people here truly care about their craft, and the end results are amazing.

The food itself? Out of this world! The crust is perfect – crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The toppings are always fresh and flavorful as well. Plus, they offer an impressive selection of specialty pizzas that are sure to please any palate.

And last but certainly not least, the service was top notch! The waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations for our order.

In conclusion, I can confidently say that Breckenridge Ale House & Pizza has some of the best pizza in Breckenridge CO – and it’s definitely worth a visit!

#3 Piante Pizzeria

I stopped in for lunch today and was delighted by the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen – I knew right away I was in for a treat! The menu had plenty of options, but I decided to go with the classic Margherita pizza. When it arrived at my table, the smell alone was enough to make me drool! The toppings were perfectly balanced, and the crust had just the right amount of crispness.

The service was excellent, too – helpful and friendly without being intrusive – which made the experience even better. All in all, Piante Pizzeria is an outstanding spot for those looking for a great slice of pizza! I’m proud to say that it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my travels. This place easily takes the prize as the best pizza in Breckenridge CO!

#4 Fatty’s Pizzeria

The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere. You can tell that it’s a great tourist spot, as well as a great place to watch sports. They also serve alcohol – and hard liquor, no less – so you can make your own party of it!

The food was fantastic. They offer delicious vegetarian options for those who don’t eat meat, and their kid’s menu is sure to keep even the pickiest of eaters happy. On top of all this, they have amazing desserts to finish off your meal in style.

My only complaint? There’s no delivery option – but this isn’t really a big issue when the pizza is so darn good! All in all, Fatty’s Pizzeria definitely serves some of the best pizza in Breckenridge CO and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal out.

#5 Giampietro Pasta & Pizzeria

I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve probably spent more money on pizza than I have on rent, so when I heard about Giampietro I had to try it. But my expectations were far exceeded!

The crust was perfectly chewy and the sauce was full of flavor. The toppings were fresh and abundant, and the cheese was stretchy yet still creamy. It clearly wasn’t just a bunch of processed ingredients thrown together in haste; it was artfully crafted with love and care.

Giampietro also has fantastic pasta dishes and other Italian standards — their lasagna is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. But the pizza is where they truly shine!

If you’re looking for a delicious slice of pie (and who isn’t?), then head on over to Giampietro Pasta & Pizzeria — you won’t be disappointed!

#6 Windy City Pizza and Pub (Breckenridge)

Upon entering the restaurant, which by the way looks very inviting with its warm and cozy decor, I was instantly greeted with a smile and felt right at home. The menu was impressive, offering a wide selection of pizzas including several gluten free options!

The pizza itself was unbelievably delicious. The crust was cooked to perfection and the cheese was out of this world! There were so many bold flavors, you could practically taste every ingredient on each bite. Plus, the whole pie had a great balance that made for a truly enjoyable experience.

But what really sold me on Windy City Pizza and Pub was their beverages. I have never had such an incredible pairing experience in my life! Each beer paired perfectly with the respective pizza creating an even richer taste.

Overall, it’s safe to say that Windy City Pizza and Pub is easily one of the best pizza places in Breckenridge CO! Whether you’re looking for a good meal or just want something to snack on, Windy City has it all. Highly recommend this place when you visit Breckenridge!

#7 Northside Pizza

First of all, their crust was just heavenly. It had a perfect balance between crispiness and chewiness that I haven’t found in any other pizza place. Plus, their sauce added the perfect amount of flavor to each slice without overpowering it.

The toppings did not disappoint either! They had a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, and each one was prepared with care. My favorite was their signature “Northside Special” which combined pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers into one mouth-watering masterpiece.

Beyond the pizza itself, the atmosphere at Northside Pizza was amazing as well! The waitstaff were super friendly and made sure to make me feel right at home. And the decor was modern yet rustic and definitely fits the vibe of Breckenridge.

The service at Luigi’s Pizzeria is exceptional. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, and they really know how to make you feel welcome. They provide recommendations if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the options, making it easy to find your perfect pizza match.

Speaking of options, Luigi’s Pizzeria has some unique offerings that will make your mouth water! From their taco pizzas to their deep dish pies, there’s something for everyone here. Plus, their prices are very reasonable – I got a large pie for only $12!

Overall, my experience at Luigi’s Pizzeria was top-notch and I highly recommend them if you’re in Breckenridge CO looking for some of the best pizza around!

#9 Sauce on the Maggie

When I arrived I knew that this was going to be a great experience. The restaurant had an upscale, modern vibe and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. When it came time for the pizza, I was blown away! Their specialty pies are top-notch, with flavorful sauces and toppings. Their crust is light and airy yet still holds up to all of the flavor combinations.

I sampled several different pizzas during my visit, but one of my favorites was the “Margherita”. This pizza featured a tomato sauce base with mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and garlic as toppings. The flavors melded together perfectly in every bite.

Overall, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Breckenridge CO then look no further than Sauce on the Maggie! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality pizza experience.

#10 Blue River Bistro

The atmosphere was quite nice, with a touristy vibe (which I love). The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Plus, they had the most amazing dessert selection I’ve ever seen – definitely worth exploring!

As far as the food is concerned, it was one of the best pizza experiences I have ever had. The fresh ingredients provided for some delicious flavor combinations that you won’t find anywhere else. And don’t even get me started on their vegetarian options – it’s out of this world! They also have a kid’s menu, so parents can take their little ones along without worrying about them not having something to eat.

What really sealed the deal for me though, was their drink selection. Not only do they serve beer, wine and spirits but they also serve hard liquor as well! This is a rare find in Breckenridge CO and it made my evening that much more enjoyable.

That said, there is one downside – no delivery! So if you’re looking for your dinner to come to you, Blue River Bistro isn’t an option at this time. Hopefully this changes soon because the pizza has earned a spot on my must-try list!

#11 Michael’s Italian Restaurant

I come here for the delicious, made-to-order pies filled with freshly-made sauces and cheeses. The menu includes classic favorites like margherita, pepperoni and mushroom as well as creative options like bbq chicken and Hawaiian. I especially love their white pizza with spinach and feta!

But more than just delicious pizza, what sets Michael’s apart is that they offer a lot of extras that make your experience extra special. They’ve got a full bar serving both beer and hard liquor, a kid’s menu with kid-sized pizzas and salads, and even dessert selections so you can top off your meal with something sweet. Plus, it’s conveniently located in the middle of town—it makes for a great tourist spot!

The only downside is that there isn’t delivery available. But trust me when I say it’s definitely worth it to take the time to get over here! So if you’re searching for the best pizza in Breckenridge CO—look no further than Michael’s Italian Restaurant!

Best Wood Fired Pizza – Piante Pizzeria

Walking into Piante Pizzeria, I immediately noticed the warm and cozy atmosphere. It felt like I was stepping into a small Italian village, minus the cobblestone streets and Italian men yelling from balconies. The staff was incredibly friendly, sporting matching aprons and big smiles. I couldn’t help but wonder if their secret ingredient was actually happiness.

Now let’s talk about the pizza. Oh, sweet mozzarella, where do I begin? The wood fired oven in the corner of the restaurant certainly caught my eye, and my nose instantly confirmed that I was in for a treat. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside, with just the right amount of chewiness on the inside. It was like biting into a cloud that had been soaked in the essence of pizza heaven.

As for toppings, Piante Pizzeria knows how to take things to the next level. I tried their Margherita pizza and it was bursting with flavor. The basil leaves were so fresh, it was like they had been plucked straight from the Garden of Eden. And the sauce… oh, the sauce! It was tangy, yet rich, like a beautiful symphony of tomatoes.

One bite into this pizza and I couldn’t help but let out a hearty laugh. It was almost too good to be true. But believe me, my friends, it’s very much real. So if you find yourself in Breckenridge, do yourself a favor and head straight to Piante Pizzeria. Your taste buds will thank you, and you’ll leave with a smile on your face and pizza sauce on your shirt.
