I’ve been around the world tasting pizza, from Italian-style to American-style. From well known chains to little-known mom & pop places, I’m always on the lookout for a great slice.

Recently, I decided to spend some time in Irvine to sample the best pizza the city had to offer. After visiting 12 different establishments, I’m ready to share my findings with you. Follow along as I take you on a cheesy adventure through Irvine’s best pizzerias!

#1 BJ’s Italian Restaurant

I rolled into town a few days ago, starving and desperate for a good slice. Little did I know that I’d struck gold at BJ’s! The pizza was simply out of this world. The cheese was so creamy, the crust so fluffy and delicate, and the sauce was perfectly spiced – it was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before.

The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. They explained every ingredient on their menu to me and made sure that my order was prepared exactly to my specifications. It really made for an amazing experience!

But what really sealed the deal for me were two things: one, the prices were incredibly affordable; two, they offer delivery service in Irvine CA! It’s hard enough to find great pizza around these parts, but to be able to have it delivered right to your door? That’s just unheard of!

If you’re looking for a pizza experience like no other, Angelina’s is the place to go. The pizza is cooked in traditional wood-fire ovens that give the crust an incredible flavor and texture. Every dish I’ve had here is always perfectly balanced with just the right amount of cheese, sauce, seasonings and other ingredients – it’s truly an art form!

But what really sets Angelina’s apart from all the other pizzerias in Irvine CA is their customer service. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and at home. The smile on everyone’s face tells you that they know how to treat their customers in a way that made me feel more than happy!

From the moment I stepped in, MOD Pizza had an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about all of their different pizzas and toppings. Everything was so fresh – I could tell they put a lot of care into their food.

The pizza itself was delicious! They have so many vegan and vegetarian options, which is great if you’re looking for something that’s animal-friendly. But even their standard pizzas have an amazing taste! The crust has a perfect balance of chewy and crispy texture, while the sauce is flavorful without being too overpowering. And I can’t forget about the huge variety of toppings – it seemed nearly limitless!

#4 North Italia

The atmosphere here is really cozy and welcoming. I could spend hours in that restaurant just hanging out. Plus, their staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve met in the area. They always go above and beyond to make sure we’re having a great time and enjoying our pizza!

But let’s get to the most important part: the pizza. The crust is always light and crispy, with just enough crunch to satisfy my taste buds. Toppings are generous and plentiful – they even offer some interesting topping combinations that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

My wife recently tried their vegan pizza, and it was so good that we both ate two slices! We also had their signature pepperoni pizza which was equally delicious.

Overall, North Italia has become my go-to spot for the best pizza in Irvine CA. If you want to try some truly delicious pizza, this is definitely your place!

#5 Ray’s Pizza

I was truly impressed by the quality of Ray’s Pizza. From the moment I walked in, I could tell there was something special about this place. The atmosphere was both cozy and inviting, which made it feel like a classic Italian pizzeria.

From the moment I walked in the door, I could feel that this was a place that not only took their pizza seriously, but their customers as well. The staff was friendly and eager to help, giving me recommendations of what pies to try for a truly unique experience.

When it comes to the pizza itself, Cucina Enoteca Irvine hit it out of the park! The dough was cooked perfectly – crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. And man oh man did they know how to top it! Their combination of finely-ground Italian sausages, creamy cheese and fresh vegetables made every bite something special.

Whenever I’m in Irvine CA craving some of the best pizza around, I always make sure to stop by Cucina Enoteca Irvine – they never disappoint. Highly recommend!

#7 Round Table Pizza

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of freshly baked dough, and it made my mouth water. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lively.

I ordered their signature pepperoni pizza and boy was it delicious! The sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the crust was nicely charred on the bottom. The pepperoni slices were large and crispy, which is something I’ve come to expect from a great pizza restaurant.

What really put this pizza over the top for me though was their generous sprinkling of cheese on top – cheese practically oozed out of every single slice! Another favorite topping of mine they offer is a pesto mixture that paired surprisingly well with the pepperoni – it gave a nice herbal kick that cut through all the richness in a delightful way.

The moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew that this was something special. The aroma of freshly baked pizza dough and melted cheese filled the air, making me salivate with anticipation.

I ordered the classic pepperoni and mushroom pie, and let me tell you – it did not disappoint! The crust was thin and crispy, just like it should be in a New York-style pizza. The menu featured a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. From classic pepperoni to specialty items like vegan pesto and pineapple bacon pizza – there was something for everyone!

The service was friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was taken quickly and accurately. And when my pizza arrived, it was served hot and full of flavor! Best Thin Crust Pizza – Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana

Walking into Angelina’s felt like stepping into a retro pizzeria straight out of a mobster movie.
