Having tasted pizza all over the world, I’m no stranger to this delicious dish. And through tireless research and days spent scouring Irving TX for the best pizza places, I’ve been able to compile a list of twelve places that offer some truly exceptional pies.

#1 The Pizza Press

The first thing that struck me about The Pizza Press was their vast selection of options. Unlike some pizza places, you’re not limited to the same-old cheese and pepperoni – you can be as creative as you want with your toppings! I opted for something out of the ordinary – a salami, eggplant and olive creation – which turned out wonderfully.

The freshness of the ingredients also stood out to me. Everything on my pizza tasted like it had been hand-picked from the farm just moments before it was served. Nothing about this pizza felt mass-produced or processed, and it made for an amazing experience.

The atmosphere at The Pizza Press was also great. It’s a laid back spot where everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and chatting away over delicious slices of pizza. I even saw a few groups playing board games while they wolfed down their food – it definitely added to the laid back ambiance in the place!

All in all, I’m incredibly impressed with The Pizza Press and I think they have some of the best pizza in Irving TX! Highly recommended!

#2 New York Pizza Pasta & Subs

I arrived late in the evening, and was happy to find a restaurant still open. I wanted to try everything on their menu, so I opted for a classic cheese pizza, a veggie pizza, and a meat lovers sub.

The cheese pizza was delicious—it had the perfect amount of sauce and just enough cheese. The crust was chewy but easy to bite into. All-in-all, it’s one of the best cheese pizzas I’ve ever had!

The veggie pizza was also delicious. It had plenty of vegetables like mushrooms, bell peppers and onions as well as tasty seasonings like oregano and basil. The crust was nice and crispy, which really enhanced the flavor.

Finally, I tried the Meat Lovers sub sandwich. It came with all the traditional meats—ham, pepperoni and salami—and they were nicely cooked and flavorful. The bun was sturdy enough to hold all those toppings without falling apart.

All-in-all my experience at New York Pizza Pasta & Subs has sealed its place as one of my favorite places for great pizza in Irving TX!

#3 Zalat Pizza N O’Connor Irving

The first thing I noticed about this restaurant was the vibrant atmosphere. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a great time, and it only added to the dining experience.

The second thing I noticed were the smells coming from the kitchen. The smell of freshly cooked pizza lingered in the air, and it only made me more excited to try out their offerings!

When it came time to order, I had a difficult decision ahead of me. All of their pizzas looked delicious, but after much deliberation, I settled on the classic margherita pizza. One bite in and I knew that I’d made the right choice! It was cooked perfectly – crispy yet chewy – and extremely flavorful. It was easily one of the most enjoyable pizzas I’ve ever had!

Overall, Zalat Pizza N O’Connor Irving is a top notch restaurant with some of the best pizza in Irving TX. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or you’re celebrating something special, you can’t go wrong by choosing Zalat Pizza N O’Connor Irving!

#4 Vinnie’s Pizzeria & Pastaria

The first thing I noticed when entering Vinnie’s was the laid-back atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, making sure my visit was a pleasant one.

The food was also top-notch. The pizza crust had just the right amount of crunch and the perfect texture. It wasn’t too thick or too thin, which is perfectly suited to the toppings they have available. With a variety of unique pizzas to choose from, everyone in our group could find something that appealed to them.

I also highly recommend the homemade meatball sandwich! This sandwich packed all the flavor of a classic Italian meatball sub but with Vinnie’s own twist. It was so flavorful that I didn’t even need any condiments.

The taste of the pizza here is outstanding – they use fresh ingredients, and the crust is perfectly cooked. Even the toppings are succulent and flavorful. They really know their way around a pizza!

But what’s even better than their fantastic food is their atmosphere. Every time I come to Cavalli Pizza, I feel like I’m at an Italian beach party. From the music to the decor to the friendly staff, it’s always a pleasure to be here.

Overall, Cavalli Pizza has earned its spot as one of the top pizza places in Irving TX, if not the best. If you find yourself in need of some great Italian cuisine, then this is definitely your go-to place – you won’t be disappointed!

#6 Vito’s Pizza & Grill

This place definitely has a lot going for it. For starters, they serve alcohol, making it a great spot to have some drinks and watch the game – or your favorite show. They also have a kid’s menu so you can take the whole family without worrying about everyone getting something different. Plus, for those who don’t eat meat, Vito’s has some tasty vegetarian options. And after all of those delicious pizzas are done, you can even order up some dessert!

The only downside to Vito’s Pizza & Grill is that they don’t offer delivery – but if you’re visiting Irving TX from out of town that won’t really be an issue. So if you’re looking for the best pizza in town then definitely check out Vito’s Pizza & Grill!

From the second I stepped into this cozy little joint, I was met with a pleasant surprise. The smell of freshly baked pizza filled the air and drew me in. I took a seat and couldn’t wait to dig into some deliciousness.

The menu had a great selection of classic pizzas that were sure to please anyone’s palate. I chose the signature Italian Café pie – a classic combination of pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, olives and peppers on a thick cheese crust.

When it arrived at my table, it was almost too beautiful to eat! The presentation alone was enough for me to give this pizza two thumbs up. But once I had a bite, there was no doubt – this was the best pizza I’ve had in Irving TX! The crust was just right – not too doughy or crunchy – and the toppings were cooked to perfection!

I can see why this restaurant is so well-known in Irving TX: they have mastered the art of making first-class pizza pies! You won’t regret giving Italian Café a try if you’re searching for the best pizza around town.

#8 Angelo’s Spaghetti & Pizza House – Irving

I can’t believe how good the pizza is here. The crust is light and fluffy, with just the right amount of char from being cooked in a wood-fired oven. The sauce has a subtle savoriness that enhances the flavorful toppings like hand-cut pepperoni and fresh vegetables.

The environment here is beautiful too – it’s warm and inviting, with murals of Italian landmarks adorning the walls. Plus they play great music while you enjoy your meal.

But above all, I’d have to say that their staff really makes this place special. Everyone works as a team to ensure that every guest receives quality service and attention during their visit. They also make sure to take extra care when packing up leftovers so that they’re just as hot and delicious when you get them home!

All in all, Angelo’s Spaghetti & Pizza House – Irving gets a hearty five-star review from me for having some of the best pizza in Irving TX!

This is definitely no ordinary pizza joint. With a variety of fresh, artisanal ingredients and an interactive ordering process, Blaze Pizza brings the pizzeria experience to a whole new level. Their signature open-flame oven will have anyone mesmerized and drooling in anticipation of the deliciousness that’s about to be served.

The ingredients they offer are top notch—no skimpy toppings here! Whether you’re looking for traditional pepperoni slices or something more unique like roasted garlic pesto, they’ve got you covered. They even have vegan options if that’s your thing.

The staff at this particular location was amazing! Everyone was friendly and accommodating, plus they didn’t mind when I asked for multiple samples to taste test all of their creations.

To top it off, the prices are incredibly reasonable; you really get what you pay for with Blaze Pizza!

#10 i Fratelli Pizza Las Colinas

First off, the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. It’s cozy yet modern, with the dimmed lights and interesting artwork on the walls. As for the actual pizza, you can tell that it’s fresh and handmade. The dough was just right and it had a great crunch when I bit into it.

The menu offered a wide array of toppings to choose from, so no matter your preference there’s something for everyone at i Fratelli Pizza Las Colinas. The pepperoni pizza I got was just delicious – so many flavors blending together in perfect harmony! Of course, all this goodness comes with a price, but you get what you pay for here.

To top it all off, their staff was really friendly and accommodating: they went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience dining at i Fratelli Pizza Las Colinas. #11 Pizza Patrón East Irving

The atmosphere at Pizza Patrón East Irving was pleasant and inviting, with a friendly staff waiting to take my order. Of course, I had to go with the classic pepperoni pizza – and it didn’t disappoint! The crust was amazingly crispy and the pepperoni melted in my mouth. The flavors combined together perfectly to make a delicious experience that I wasn’t soon going to forget.

I also decided to try some of their specialty pies – the Patrón Supreme was an absolute winner! The combination of sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions created an explosion of flavor that practically danced on my tongue.

My only regret is that I didn’t get to try more of their pizzas – there were so many intriguing options! But I guess that just means I’ll have to come back here soon to sample all their wonderful creations. The menu is full of classic Italian favorites, but you don’t really know what you’re missing until you take a bite out of the Di Leo Pizza. From the moment I tasted it, I was sure that I had found something special. The crust was just as light and fluffy as any Italian-style pizza should be and the sauce was bursting with flavor.

The topping options were also top-notch, and they included everything from pepperoni to mushrooms to olives. They weren’t afraid to get creative either – I got a slice with pineapple which was unexpectedly delicious!

What really sets Di Leo Pizza apart from other pizzerias, though, is their wood-fired oven. This gives their pizzas that rustic Tuscan flavor that can’t be faked with regular ovens. They also have gluten-free options for anyone looking for a healthier option.

Overall, Di Leo Pizza is simply the best pizza in Irving TX! Their pies are flavorful, creative and cooked to perfection in their wood-fired ovens – plus they have great customer service too! If you’re ever in town, make sure you stop by and give it a try – it’s worth every penny!
