After trying twelve different pizza places all over the island, I’m proud to bring you a list of what I believe to be the best pizza in Key West. Together, we’ll embark on an epic slice-filled journey. This is my lighthearted adventure into the Key West pizza scene! Bon Appétit!

#1 Clemente’s Wood-Fired Trolley Pizzeria

I was in for a treat when I visited this restaurant. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere.

The pizza at Clemente’s is truly unique and delicious. The thin base is cooked to perfection in a wood-fired trolley oven, which gives it an incredible smoky flavor. The pizzas are decked out with fresh vegetables and high-quality meats that take each bite to the next level. We enjoyed slices topped with mushrooms, onions, salami, pepperoni and peppers – all of which were cooked to perfection.

And that’s not all: their homemade garlic knots come highly recommended – they’re simply delicious!

Overall, Clemente’s Wood-Fired Trolley Pizzeria definitely has some of the best pizza in Key West. If you’re ever visiting Key West make sure to check this place out – you won’t regret it!

#2 “Off The Hook” Grill

Not only is the pizza amazing, but this place also has some really cool benefits. For starters, they serve alcohol – and not just any beer, but hard liquor too! For dessert, I’d go as far as to say that their pastries are insanely good. It’s a great tourist spot and if you’re into sports, you can watch games on their TVs.

On the downside, they don’t offer any delivery services, so you’ll have to come in person to get your hands on this delicious pizza.

But all things considered, I give “Off The Hook” Grill 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best pizza in Key West!

#3 Duetto Pizza and Gelato

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the servers are knowledgeable about their menu. I was immediately taken to flavor town with their classic Margherita pizza – the perfect combination of fresh ingredients, all cooked to perfection atop a homemade crust.

My tastebuds continued to dance as I moved onto their unique offerings. The spicy Hawaiian pie had just the right amount of kick, while the BBQ Chicken special was simply out of this world! And I can’t forget to mention the delicious Garlic White Pizza with its creamy garlic sauce and huge chunks of garlic. It’s probably one of my favorites on the entire menu.

Even better, Duetto Pizza and Gelato offers tempting gelato flavors for dessert. Let’s just say once you try them, it will be hard to stop at one scoop!

#4 Mr. Z’s

As soon as I stepped in the door, the aroma of freshly baked pizza hit my nose. I could tell that this place was serious about their pizza. The decor was warm and inviting, and their staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The pie itself had a nice thin crust with just the right amount of toppings. The sauce was flavorful and fresh, and the cheese melted perfectly over the top. It wasn’t greasy like some pizzas can be, but still had plenty of flavor.

I must say that my experience at Mr. Z’s was top-notch! From the first bite to the last, it was delicious all around. If you’re ever in Key West looking for great pizza, look no further than Mr. Z’s – you won’t be disappointed!

#5 Onlywood Pizzeria Trattoria

The atmosphere is what I’d call rustic-chic. The interior is nothing fancy – just some mismatched chairs and tables, but it gives off an inviting vibe that puts you at ease the moment you walk in the door.

As for the pizza itself, I was absolutely blown away! The crust was perfectly cooked and had a nice crunchy edge to it, while remaining soft and chewy in the middle. They use only high-quality, fresh ingredients such as organic tomatoes and herbs, which really comes through in their unique flavors. And if you’re feeling adventurous, try one of their specialty pies that are loaded with different toppings!

Service at Onlywood Pizzeria Trattoria was top-notch; our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, answering all of my questions before we even ordered! Plus, they have an extensive selection of beers and wines that pair perfectly with their pies.

Overall, I’d highly recommend Onlywood Pizzeria Trattoria for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Key West. From their great atmosphere to their amazing food, it’s definitely worth a visit!

#6 Roostica

My recent visit began with an ice cold margarita and a light, crispy crust. The menu was full of vegetarian options, a kid’s menu and other delicious items like pastas, sandwiches and salads. But it was the pizza that I had to try.

The toppings were so fresh I could taste the essence of each ingredient in every bite! The crust was crunchy but not too thick and the sauce was perfectly balanced. All in all, it really hit the spot.

The restaurant itself is quite pleasant as well – a nice tourist spot for sure! Not only do they have alcohol (including hard liquor!) but their desserts are also insanely good.

My only criticism is that there’s no delivery option – otherwise it’d be perfect!
Overall, I’m giving Roostica five stars for having some of the best pizza in Key West!

#7 Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine

As soon as I stepped inside, I was hit with a wave of delicious smells coming from the kitchen – I knew that everything here was freshly prepared. The menu offered an array of choices, but the pizza is what drew me in.

I went with their signature Oasis Pie, which featured fresh Mediterranean-style ingredients including artichoke hearts, olives, and feta cheese. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with a crispy crust and just enough charring to give it a distinct flavor. The generous portion of toppings added extra depth and complexity to the dish.

The ambiance at Oasis was quite unique too – they had Middle Eastern-inspired wall designs and music playing in the background. This gave the restaurant an inviting atmosphere that made me want to stay longer and enjoy more of their delicious food!

On top of all this, their prices were very reasonable – I got an entire pie for less than $10! As far as pizza goes, Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine has some of the best quality for any price you could ask for. If you’re looking for great pizza in Key West, you’d be remiss not to check out this hidden gem!

#8 Pizza Joe’s

The atmosphere was unlike anything I had ever seen before. The bright and colorful decor immediately set the tone for an amazing experience.

The service was excellent – the staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt like my pizza order was taken very seriously, down to every last detail!

And of course, let’s not forget about that pizza. Wow! It was definitely some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted in my entire life! The crust had just the right amount of crunch, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I could have eaten all day long!

All in all, Pizza Joe’s is a must-stop destination if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Key West. Highly recommended!

#9 Big John’s Pizzeria

The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, and I especially enjoyed the live music. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and helped make my experience even more enjoyable.

Now onto the food – my expectations were high, but Big John’s Pizzeria didn’t disappoint! The pizza crust was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of crunch. The ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful, leaving me wanting more!

I’m especially impressed with their signature toppings; the combination of sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and garlic made for a masterpiece that simply has to be tried to be believed.

Overall, I highly recommend Big John’s Pizzeria if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Key West. From its inviting atmosphere to its delicious food options, it’s a must-visit destination!

#10 Angelina’s Pizzeria

I’m not sure if it was the atmosphere, the service, or the pizza itself that made my experience at Angelina’s so memorable. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and inviting the restaurant was. The servers were all friendly and helpful, and they made me feel right at home.

But of course, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pizza. When it arrived, I could tell it had been cooked perfectly – a nice crisp crust with just enough cheese to make it flavorful. The tomato sauce was full of flavor and just the right amount of sweetness – truly a truly delicious combination!

All in all, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Key West, Angelina’s Pizzeria is your place to go! Not only do they offer amazing food and hospitality, but their prices are also very reasonable. What more could you want? Highly recommended!

#11 Domino’s Pizza

Let’s start with the crust: it’s thin and crispy, providing the perfect base for their tasty toppings. The sauce is also fabulous; flavorful and not too overpowering. They include all of the classic toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, and peppers, as well as some more exotic options like shrimp and pineapple. Every bite is an adventure!

When it comes to service, Domino’s Pizza is top notch. Staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring that orders are taken quickly and cooked to perfection. Delivery times are impressively fast (an hour or less!) and ensure that the pizza arrives piping hot at your door.

Finally, let’s not forget about the price tag – it’s very affordable without sacrificing quality! For a one-stop shop for delicious pizza in Key West, you simply can’t go wrong with Domino’s Pizza.

#12 Pizza Hut

On my visit, I ordered the Supreme Pizza and it was out of this world. The cheese was melted to perfection, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the crust was delightfully crispy. As far as taste goes, this pizza is hard to beat.

I love that Pizza Hut has such an extensive menu with a variety of different options that please all kinds of palates. Plus, they offer vegetarian choices so everyone can enjoy their delicious pizza with ease. Plus, if you’re in for a treat, they also have special featured pizzas every month that are truly unique!

The customer service at Pizza Hut is top-notch. All the employees seem to be enthusiastic about their craft which makes for an even better experience when dining there. Even more impressive is how quick the staff brings out your order – no waiting around here!

All in all, you really can’t go wrong choosing Pizza Hut for your next pizza fix. The menu items are always fresh and flavorful, the staff is friendly and efficient, and it truly does have some of the best pizza in Key West – trust me on this one!

Best Thin Crust Pizza – Onlywood Pizzeria Trattoria

Now, I’ve had my fair share of thin crust pizzas in my pizza-eating escapades, and let me tell you, this place knows what they’re doing. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked dough and perfectly melted cheese. My taste buds were dancing with joy even before taking my first bite.

The menu at Onlywood is an open invitation to pizza heaven. They have a variety of unique toppings that will make your taste buds do a little happy dance. Who knew that truffle oil and arugula could be such a killer combo on a pizza? And let’s not forget about the oh-so-cheesy margherita pizza that practically melts in your mouth. It’s like a symphony of flavors that will make you weak at the knees.

The staff at Onlywood are equally as impressive as their pizza. They’re friendly, efficient, and they know their stuff. They even let me in on a little secret about their dough – it’s made with a special blend of flours imported directly from Italy. Talk about authenticity!
