Throughout my extensive eating tours of the world, I’ve encountered many pies of all shapes and sizes. But, Lake Placid’s pizza scene has something special. After much investigation over tasty slices and crusts, I’m finally ready to declare my top 10 picks for the best pizza in Lake Placid. #1 Big Slide Brewery & Public House

To start, their menu has something for everyone. If you’re an adult looking to grab a drink while chowing down on some pizza, they’ve got you covered with a variety of beers and wines. They also offer a kids’ menu so families can enjoy a meal together. And don’t worry about finishing early, because Big Slide Brewery & Public House offers dessert too!

The pizzas themselves are divine. I ordered the “5-Cheese” and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! The crust was crispy with just the right amount of chewiness and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible, so you know you’re getting quality food.

My only complaint is that Big Slide Brewery & Public House doesn’t offer delivery, but trust me – it’s worth it! The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for grabbing dinner with friends or family. The atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends or family. They serve alcohol so you can toast to the great taste of their pizza, and they have a kids’ menu if you need to entertain the little ones.

The pizza itself is delicious. The crust is thin and crispy, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. And trust me, I’m quite particular about my pizza!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly! Plus, they have a kid’s menu and they even serve alcohol (and hard liquor!), so it’s a great spot for tourists looking to indulge.

As far as pizza goes, their selection really impressed me. They have classic options like pepperoni and margherita, plus more unique creations like prosciutto & arugula. And for dessert? It’s an absolute must-have! Their desserts were delicious – from Italian favorites like tiramisu to original creations like peanut butter chocolate cheesecake.

The only downside is that Upstairs Grill Steak & Seafood doesn’t offer delivery – so you’ll have to go there for takeout or dine in. But all in all, I’d highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy the best pizza in Lake Placid!

However, if you’re willing to take a short trip down there and eat inside or take your food to go then I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. All in all, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Lake Placid then Caffe Rustica is a must-visit spot!

#9 Eleanor’s Pasta KITCHEN

I had the pleasure of dining here last week, and the experience was truly outstanding. Not only does Eleanor’s Pasta KITCHEN offer delicious homemade Italian pies with all the classic toppings—they also serve alcohol and offer dessert to finish off your meal!

The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, with a nice tourist vibe. The staff were very attentive and happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. So if you’re in the area and looking for a great pizza joint, this is definitely the place to go!

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery service, so unless you’re willing to take your pizza on the go, you’ll have to dine in-house. But believe me, it’s worth it! All in all, I highly recommend Eleanor’s Pasta Kitchen—it’s one of the best pizzerias I’ve been to in Lake Placid, or anywhere else for that matter!

#10 Jimmy’s 21 Lake Side Italian Restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into Jimmy’s. It had a warm, inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and a nice view of the lake. Plus, they serve alcohol (and hard liquor!) – which is always a nice touch.

The menu at Jimmy’s offers something for everyone, including those pesky vegetarians. For the kids in tow, there’s even a special kid’s menu available – which means everyone can enjoy their meal!

Being an Italian restaurant, it goes without saying that the pizza here is amazing! The crust is just perfect – not too thin and not too thick – perfectly cooked and topped off with some of the best ingredients. And if you have room left over after your meal, be sure to check out their dessert selection as well!

My only complaint about Jimmy’s 21 Lake Side Italian Restaurant is that they don’t deliver. Other than that, you won’t find better pizza in Lake Placid!
