I’ve been around the world tasting some of the best (and worst) pizzas that money can buy. Believe me, it’s been an adventure! I’m here to share with you my findings on where to find the best pizza in Largo FL.

I scoured 12 different pizza places in the city and decided to narrow it down to my favorites. During my taste testing, some pizzas stood out as remarkable while others were quickly forgotten. But never fear! From my travels and research, I’m confident that these are great choices for your next pizza craving.

#1 Pinellas Pizzeria

I’m sure glad I saved this place for my last stop, because it definitely lived up to the hype. With its mouth-watering variety of toppings (including my favorite spinach and feta combo!), award-winning dough, and perfectly cooked crusts, Pinellas Pizzeria has set a high standard for other pizzerias in the area.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time out of their day to explain menu items and make suggestions for me. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with classic Italian music playing softly in the background that adds to the overall experience.

But let’s get down to business: The pizza! It took me several visits to narrow down my choices but eventually I settled on a few favorites: The “Largo Special”, which comes topped with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms; The “Margherita Pie”, which is a classic combination of tomatoes and mozzarella cheese; And finally a “Create Your Own” pie with jalapenos, green peppers, bacon bits and extra cheese (yum!). All three were delicious!

Overall, my experience at Pinellas Pizzeria was top notch. They truly deserve their reputation as having some of the best pizza in Largo FL!

#2 Villa Italia Pizzeria

The crust was perfectly crunchy and had a great flavor. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and the portions were generous. The cheese was one of the best I’ve ever tried – it was really creamy and just melted in my mouth.

The staff at Villa Italia Pizzeria are some of the friendliest around. They greeted me with a warm welcome and went out of their way to make sure I was having a great experience.

But what really won me over was their signature pepperoni pizza – that’s definitely something you don’t want to miss! I’m now convinced that Villa Italia Pizzeria has the best pizza in Largo FL. If you’re looking for an unforgettable pizza experience, look no further than this fantastic restaurant!

#3 Charlie & Millie’s Pizza House

On my visit here I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of specialty pizzas they had. For example, their “Green with Envy” pizza boasts a pesto base and is loaded with baby spinach, artichoke hearts, and feta cheese. It’s a great combination that no other pizza place in Largo has!

The atmosphere at Charlie & Millie’s is also awesome. The restaurant is decorated like an old-school Italian Trattoria which really takes you back to the days of 1950s New York!

The staff are also really friendly and attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, they still found the time to entertain our party. We were given complimentary samples of all their delicious sides such as garlic knots and deep fried mozzarella sticks.

Overall, it’s easy for me to rate Charlie & Millie’s as one of the best pizzerias in Largo FL! If you’re looking for something unique from your typical pizza joint, then be sure to check out this gem! You won’t regret it!

#4 Super Sardo’s Pizza

I’m not one to mince words, so let me just say this: Super Sardo’s Pizza is amazing! The pizza has a perfect, thin and crispy crust that balances the zesty homemade tomato sauce. To top it off, the cheese was gooey and stringy like it should be. Absolutely delicious!

The service at Super Sardo’s Pizza is also top-notch. From the friendly staff to the quick delivery time, they really care about customer satisfaction.

#5 Rizzotto’s Pizzeria

Upon entering the pizzeria, I was immediately taken back by the inviting atmosphere. The cashier greeted me with a friendly smile, and I noticed that all of the kitchen staff seemed to be having a great time.

The menu was extensive and had lots of delicious options to choose from. I decided on the meaty mushroom pizza with extra cheese and was not disappointed! The pizza arrived in an impressive 18-inch size with perfectly charred crust and absolutely loaded with toppings. The combination of melted cheese and savory mushrooms was out of this world!

To top off my meal, I ordered a side of garlic knots which were light, fluffy, and covered in bits of parmesan. My taste buds were certainly singing after this experience!

In conclusion, without hesitation I can confidently say that Rizzotto’s Pizzeria has some of the best pizza in Largo FL (or maybe even all of Florida!). Not only are their pies top notch but the customer service is also excellent. Highly recommended for pizza lovers everywhere!

#6 Bro’s Pizzeria & Bar

I can honestly say that this place exceeded my expectations. The crust was perfectly cooked, the sauce was flavorful and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I ordered a margarita pizza and it was definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

The atmosphere at Bro’s Pizzeria & Bar was so much fun! They have this cool, vintage vibe going on that reminded me of some of my favorite restaurants in Europe. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made for an enjoyable experience.

Plus, this place has a bar! After polishing off my pizza, I decided to check out the beer selection and let me tell you, they really know their stuff. There were options from all over the world and I opted for a local brew from Tampa Bay – it was amazing!

#7 Pie12 Napoletana Coal Fired Pizzeria

I love the way they mix traditional Italian flavors with Florida flare to craft some of the tastiest slices around. From the sweet and spicy tomato sauce to the bubbly cheese, these coal-fired pies are sure to satisfy any pizza craving.

The best part was how quickly it arrived at my table! I don’t know how they do it, but these pies were cooked perfectly within minutes of ordering.

#8 Your Pizza Shop

From the moment I stepped into Your Pizza Shop, I was welcomed with a warm, friendly atmosphere – and of course, the smells of freshly-made pizza. As if that wasn’t enough to make me love this place, I saw their extensive menu with options for all tastes. The decor was also great with walls covered in vintage posters of popular pizzas – truly setting the tone for a fantastic experience.

My pizza craving was instantly satisfied when my order arrived! The thin crust had a perfect crunch and the toppings were generous and flavorful. There’s something special about their sauce that really sets it apart from other places – it’s hard to describe but it’s just so delicious! Even better, they offer unique specialty pizzas like the Double Bacon Deluxe (which is one of my favorites!).

Overall, Your Pizza Shop serves up some of the best pizza around Largo FL! If you’re looking for tasty pizza at an affordable price, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t be disappointed!

#9 Anthony’s Deli, Pizzeria, and Bakery

The pizza crust is the perfect combination of crunch and softness, and the sauce is rich, flavorful, and not too acidic. The cheese is always fresh, never too greasy or salty. And the toppings are always top-notch—a wide variety of classic Italian-style toppings like Italian sausage, pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms that just burst with flavor.

I was also pleasantly surprised by their desserts—the cannoli’s are especially delicious and one of my favorites! The atmosphere at Anthony’s Deli, Pizzeria, and Bakery is really relaxed and family-friendly as well.

All in all I can confidently say Anthony’s makes some of the best pizza in Largo FL! If you’re looking for an excellent slice of pie look no further than Anthony’s Deli!

#10 Untouchables Pasta & Pizza

The first thing that blew me away was the atmosphere. An old Italian-style trattoria with a modern twist, it not only had all the charm of an Italian joint but also looked and felt like it had been recently updated.

The menu selection was impressive too. It didn’t just have pizza, but also pasta, subs and salads. But I ordered the pizza and boy was I glad I did! The crust was crunchy yet soft on the inside, and it was topped with mouthwatering fresh ingredients like sweet peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage and more. It’s no wonder why this place has earned its reputation as one of the best pizzerias in Largo FL!

Service at Untouchables Pasta & Pizza is always friendly and attentive too — they even answered all my questions about different toppings that I asked before ordering! Plus, their prices are reasonable for both lunch and dinner.

#11 Toni’s Pizza

I was lucky enough to try out their specialty – the Supreme Pizza. It’s loaded with generous helpings of pepperoni, sausage, olives, and mushrooms; truly a carnivore’s delight! The crust was perfectly thin yet sturdy enough to hold all those toppings, and the cheese was creamy and delicious. It was positively divine!

The staff were also friendly and attentive, so much so I almost felt like family. They made sure my pizza came hot off the oven; not an easy task with something as large as a Supreme Pizza!

Overall, Toni’s Pizza is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for some great pizza in Largo FL. You won’t find better pizza anywhere else in town!

#12 Hungry Howie’s Pizza

I was a bit sceptical at first, but after trying one of their pepperoni pizzas I was converted. The crust was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of crispy-ness. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, and the pizza sauce had just the perfect hint of spice.

The service at Hungry Howie’s Pizza was also top notch – they were friendly without being overbearing, and got my order right without any issues. Plus, they offer a loyalty program, so you can get rewarded for eating multiple pizzas!
