I’ve been all over the world tasting pizza, and I was excited to check out what Norwalk CT had to offer. I decided to review a dozen different places and see how they stacked up.
It definitely wasn’t an easy job! I ate some delicious pizzas, but also some…not so delicious ones. Still, there were always plenty of toppings and cheese to choose from, so I kept my spirits high!

#1 Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill

Each pizza is lovingly crafted with care, and the quality of their ingredients is top-notch. Every bite sends me on a flavor journey that I’m not soon to forget.
The Greek influence in the toppings used is obvious – feta cheese, olives, artichoke hearts – all combine to create an unforgettable taste experience. But my favorite part of Nikos has to be their unique crust. It’s made with extra virgin olive oil and herbs, which gives it a delicious crispy texture and great flavor.
Speaking of flavors, the range on offer at Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill is impressive. There are classic pies like Margherita and Hawaiian, but also more inventive options like Buffalo Chicken or Mediterranean Vegetable. No matter what kind of craving you have, you can find something delicious at Nikos!
On top of all that, the service at Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill is second to none. The staff are friendly and accommodating – they go out of their way to make sure each customer gets exactly what they’re looking for.
In short, I would highly recommend Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill for anyone looking for fantastic pizza in Norwalk CT!

#2 Leonardo’s Pizza

This place is a lover’s dream come true – crispy, thin crusts that never get soggy, gourmet toppings like roasted mushrooms and sausage and spicy jalapenos, and rich tomato sauce that has just the right amount of sweetness. My last visit saw me indulging in the classic Margherita pizza with a side of garlic knots – the combination was simply perfect!
The atmosphere at Leonardo’s Pizza was also quite enjoyable – cozy wooden tables and chairs, rustic brick walls adorned with classic art prints of Italy, and a friendly staff that takes care of all your needs. The prices are also great – you can get an extra large pie for a very reasonable price.
All in all, Leonardo’s Pizza really is one of the best pizza places in Norwalk CT. I highly recommend giving it a try next time you’re looking for some delicious Italian cuisine.
#3 Belden Ave Pizza

When I think of Belden Ave Pizza, the first thing that comes to mind is their sumptuous sauce. It’s full of flavor and has just the right amount of kick to it. The crust is out of this world – soft yet crispy, with just the right balance of crunchiness and chewiness.
The toppings at Belden Ave are great too! Every topping comes fresh from the market and you can tell that they take pride in what ingredients they use. They offer a classic topping selection like pepperoni and sausage as well as some unique and interesting combinations like fig jam with prosciutto or fried eggplant with roasted garlic.
No matter how much pizza you order, it’s always served up hot and fast out of their brick oven. The presentation suggests someone really cares about the quality here – each pie is hand-crafted and cut into generous slices for easy sharing (or for those times when you just want to go all out).
Overall, I’d say that Belden Ave Pizza has easily earned its title as one of the best pizzas in Norwalk CT – not to mention one of my personal favorites!
#4 Colony Grill – Norwalk

The atmosphere is inviting and I particularly enjoyed the vintage vibe of this iconic pizza joint. The menu was varied, offering something for everyone, but as a true pizzaphile I had to try their signature dish.
The Colony Special pizza is heavenly! The crust is the perfect blend of crispness and fluffiness and they use top-notch mozzarella cheese to top it off. Toppings come in all shapes and sizes, so vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers alike will find something delicious to enjoy.
The staff are also incredibly friendly which adds to the experience – they even offered me some free samples!
Overall, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Norwalk CT then Colony Grill – Norwalk should be your first stop!
#5 Classica Pizza

It’s no surprise – the atmosphere of the establishment is warm, inviting and comfortable. The decor is classic Italian, and the staff is welcoming and friendly.
The pizza itself is exquisite – each bite feels like a dream! They use fresh ingredients, top quality cheeses,and the crust has perfect consistency. It’s the kind of pizza that melts in your mouth in all the right ways!
I’m also pleased to report that Classica Pizza offers an impressive selection of toppings that are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. From olives to pepperoni to anchovies, they have it all!
I highly recommend anyone looking for a great slice of pizza to try out Classica Pizza – it truly lives up to its reputation as some of the best pizza in Norwalk CT.
#6 Romanacci – Norwalk

The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. The menu has something for everyone, from classic pizzas like margherita to more exotic options like their chili chicken pizza.
The pizza itself is amazing! I’ve tried just about every one on the menu, and every one of them has been fantastic. The crust is light and airy with a perfect crunch that complements the delicious toppings. My favorite was the spicy sausage pizza – the flavors were out of this world!
I also highly recommend their homemade gelato – it’s creamy and flavorful, and pairs perfectly with your meal.
If you’re in Norwalk looking for a great pizza experience, Romanacci – Norwalk should be at the top of your list! I haven’t found better pizza anywhere else in Connecticut!
#7 Italia Pizzeria Restaurant

The first thing I noticed upon entering the restaurant was how calm and inviting the atmosphere was. The decor was rustic, yet modern. It had a cozy feel to it that made me feel right at home.
My pizza arrived and it was delicious! The crust was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of crunchiness around the edges. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness, savoriness, and tanginess. The cheese melted perfectly over the top.
The service at Italia Pizzeria Restaurant was also great! Our server was friendly and attentive. She answered our questions about ingredients and made recommendations for what would pair best with our order–she nailed it!
Overall, my experience at Italia Pizzeria Restaurant was one I won’t soon forget. As far as I’m concerned, they have some of the best pizza in Norwalk CT! If you’re ever looking for a great night out with some truly delicious pizza, this is definitely the place to go!
#8 East Avenue Pizza

The crust here was definitely the highlight of the experience. It was perfectly airy, but still had a nice stretch to it. And the toppings were all cooked to perfection. From the pepperoni to the mushrooms, every bite was bursting with flavor.
Another great thing about East Avenue Pizza is that they don’t skimp on their ingredients. The sauce was thick and tangy, and the cheese was deliciously gooey. It almost felt like I was eating pizza in Italy!
But what stood out to me even more than their excellent food quality was their friendly service. The staff at East Avenue Pizza genuinely seemed excited for our visit and were eager to help us make our choices from their extensive menu. We had a great conversation about some of their specialty pies which made for an enjoyable dining experience overall.

From the classic pepperoni to their unique Korean BBQ pizza, Crust Pizza Company has a little something for everyone. The fresh crusts really stand out and are consistently of excellent quality. Every bite is just as delicious as the last.
The staff is always personable and welcoming. I felt like I was part of their family from start to finish. They don’t take any shortcuts when it comes to making their craft, taking the time to make sure each pie is perfect every time.
Overall, I’d give Crust Pizza Company a 5-star rating! Their passion for the art of pizza making shines through in every bite. If you’re ever in Norwalk CT, be sure to stop by Crust Pizza Company for some truly delicious pizza!
#10 Little Nick’s Pizza & Pasta
For starters, the atmosphere alone is enough to make you feel like you’ve been transported to Italy! The cozy lighting, Italian music, and red-checkered tablecloths create an inviting and relaxed environment.
The food was amazing! Every bite of their signature marinara sauce was packed with flavour. We ordered a few items on their extensive menu of classic Italian dishes, including eggplant parmesan, lasagna, and several pizza options. I’m partial to the classic margarita pie, but practically any combination of toppings will result in a delicious slice.
To top off our experience at Little Nick’s Pizza & Pasta, we were served our meal by an attentive staff that went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable. They made sure all of our questions were answered and that we were having a great time.

#11 JB’s Deli & Pizza
The moment I stepped foot into JB’s, I knew I was in for something special. The smell of heavenly pizza wafted through the air as soon as I opened the door and my tastebuds instantly went into overdrive.
I ordered a traditional pepperoni pizza and was not disappointed. The crust was incredibly thin but still had a nice crunch to it that made it absolutely delicious. The pepperoni was cooked perfectly on top and added to the flavor profile of the pizza perfectly.
There are a ton of different toppings at JB’s that you can customize your pizza with, so no matter what you’re craving, they’ve got you covered!
The service at JB’s is also top-notch. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and made sure my dining experience was an enjoyable one.
At the end of the day, there’s no doubt in my mind why this place is regarded as having some of the best pizza in Norwalk CT. If you’re looking for a delicious slice of pie, head over to JB’s Deli & Pizza – you won’t be disappointed!
#12 Letizia’s Pizza

The staff at Letizia’s were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The decor was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. But it was the pizza that left me most impressed.
Letizia’s Pizza creates a perfect blend of crispy and crunchy crusts with just the right amount of savory sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese. The toppings were varied and flavorful – I especially enjoyed their signature pepperoni topping – but not overpowering. Each bite was filled with an abundance of flavors that danced around my tastebuds!
I can honestly say that Letizia’s Pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tried, and is certainly the best pizza in Norwalk CT. It packs such a delicious punch, it’s worth traveling from anywhere in Connecticut to get a slice (or two!)
