I was initially skeptical of this place. After all, what can Murfreesboro TN offer in terms of pizza? But I was proven wrong. Sami’s Brick Oven Pizzeria has some of the most delicious, fresh, and flavorful pizzas around!

The crust is thin and crispy yet the topping flavors seem to be spot on with every bite. The cheese was gooey and melted in my mouth just the way I like it. And their pizzas have a variety of unique toppings like roasted mushrooms, grilled vegetables, smoked ham and more that really bring out the flavor of the pizza.

But even better than the amazing taste is the atmosphere at Sami’s Brick Oven Pizzeria. They have an open kitchen so you can watch as they toss your pizza in the brick oven while they prepare it. Plus, the staff are so friendly and welcoming!

When I arrived at Uncle Maddio’s, I was immediately impressed by their vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. Not to mention the delicious aromas of fresh-baked pizza that hung in the air. You already know you’re in for a treat!

On top of that, their prices are super reasonable. For an individual slice, it’s only $5 and for an 18” pizza it’s only $11!

I had the pleasure of trying several different varieties while I was there, and each one was delicious in its own way. I particularly like their specialty “Blazin’ Beast” which has pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, red onion, jalapeno and banana peppers – it’s Crazy-hot!

The toppings are incredibly fresh too and you can never go wrong with their classic combination of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. The presentation is top notch as well – they deliver your pizza in a wooden box with wood-fired oven scent!

The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is quite unique. It has this country-meets-urban feel that is super inviting, and the staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered.

But let’s get to the pizza – it’s delicious! They have creative, artisan toppings like sautéed wild mushrooms, olives, feta, and zucchini that really make each slice a treat. The crust is just right – not too thick, not too thin – and it stays crisp even after it’s been sitting in the oven awhile. Trust me on this.

And lastly, their selection of craft beer really completes the experience. I’m talking about IPAs with hoppy flavors that pair perfectly with every single bite of pizza you take!

I have to say that the standouts for me were their classic pepperoni with just enough heat to get those taste buds popping, as well as their signature fig pizza – oh man, it was delicious! The combination of sweetness from the figs blended perfectly with salty prosciutto and creamy burrata cheese. Yum!

After trying Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria (Murfreesboro), I can honestly say that it is some of the best pizza in Murfreesboro TN – no doubt about it. If you’re ever in town or just passing through, be sure to make a stop here – you won’t regret it!
