The second I stepped foot in the restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was eclectic with a mix of modern and traditional Italian décor that made me feel like I had stepped right into Little Italy.

When it came time to order, I couldn’t decide which pizza to get! All of the options on the menu were mouthwatering and sounded delicious. I ended up settling on their classic Margherita pizza with some garlic bread as a side dish, and boy was it worth it!

The crust on the pizza was light and fluffy yet crispy all at once. The sauce was flavorful and not too sweet or acidic; just perfect! The cheese melted perfectly over the top and the fresh basil gave all of that flavor an added kick. As for the pizza, it was thin-crusted perfection. A nice chewy crust that was both crunchy and chewy – the perfect mix. It had a pesto base with fresh mozzarella and homemade sausage; definitely a winning combination.

The minute I stepped through the door, I was hit with a wonderful smell of basil and oregano. The atmosphere was bustling, but not too loud – definitely conducive for conversation.

I started off my meal with a glass of red sangria which was sweet yet tart at the same time. As for the food, it did not disappoint. The classic margherita pizza had the proper balance between the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese and the crust had just enough crunch to contrast the softness of toppings.

And then there were the slices! Di Carlo’s version was like nothing I had ever tasted before. The crust was perfectly thin, bubbly and chewy in all of the right places. Needless to say, I didn’t leave a single slice on my plate!

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical when walking into the restaurant. The atmosphere was somewhat plain and there weren’t many people inside, but then again, how crowded can a pizzeria really be at 1 in the morning? After taking a seat at the counter, I immediately noticed the large menu board behind me which was definitely promising.

I decided to go with their classic cheese pizza and it did not disappoint! The crust had an oven-baked texture that was crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. The cheesy topping was fantastic – it had just enough mozzarella cheese to provide a creamy texture without overpowering it. Plus, the sauce used had just enough spice to add some extra flavor without being too hot or overwhelming. All in all, it was one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever eaten!

The staff at Riko’s Pizza were also incredibly friendly and helpful – they were happy to answer any questions I had about their menu items and provided lots of advice on what dishes would taste best together (hint: get two different styles!). And if that wasn’t enough, their prices are extremely reasonable for such high-quality food.
