The crust is thin and crispy with just enough chewiness, and the sauce is tangy yet well balanced. The topping options are plentiful, so you definitely won’t go hungry here!
I also want to give a shout out to their staff – they’re incredibly friendly and welcoming. As an added bonus, they offer a variety of subs which I found to be equally delicious! Honestly, my only regret after visiting Pizza Primo & Sub Express is that I’m not able to eat there on a regular basis – it’s definitely worth the drive down from Pasadena MD if you’re looking for some seriously good pizza!.

From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew this was going to be a good experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, even cracking jokes with me as they served each delicious slice.
The pizza itself is truly outstanding – it has a perfect balance of crust, sauce, and cheese that creates an explosion of flavor in your mouth. The toppings were fresh and generous, and I enjoyed every single bite.
I can honestly say that Pizza City has some of the best pizza in Pasadena MD. All my travel around the country tasting pizza has led me here – and I’m so glad it did!

For starters, I was immediately drawn to the restaurant’s atmosphere. The decor has a vintage feel that reminds me of my days growing up in New York City. It feels like I’m back in the ’70s with its classic wood paneling and cozy booths.
Then there’s the pizza! From the first bite, it was clear why 1978 New York Pizzeria is one of the best pizza places around. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy and the toppings are wonderfully fresh, giving it a signature flavor that can’t be beaten. I tried their classic pepperoni and it was out of this world! The combination of savory meats, sweet tomato sauce, and gooey cheese was utterly delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of alcohol, including hard liquor. And for those with children, the kid’s menu is a welcome addition. Vegetarian options are also available, which I greatly appreciate. But what really impressed me was the insanely good dessert!
The atmosphere is definitely that of a tourist spot, so if you’re looking for something to do while you’re visiting Pasadena MD this is definitely worth checking out. Plus it’s an excellent place to watch sports as well!
My only complaint is they don’t deliver. So if you don’t feel like venturing out, then you’ll just have to go without Founders Tavern & Grille pizza – though I can assure you it would be a crying shame to miss out on such deliciousness!

On my first visit, I was amazed by the variety of their toppings. From the classic pepperoni to a delicious mix of fresh vegetables, there is something for everyone here. The crusts are always golden and fluffy, and the sauce is flavorful with just enough garlic.
When I tried their specialty pizza – a white pizza with spinach, artichoke hearts and ricotta cheese – it was like eating an Italian masterpiece! It looked beautiful on my plate and tasted even better going down the hatch.
The atmosphere at La Posta Pizzeria is always lively and friendly too. The staff is cheerful and helpful, and they always make sure you’re getting the best experience possible. There’s good music playing in the background and TVs showing sports games if that’s your thing.

I’ve tried pizza from Italy, France, and even the Caribbean, and I gotta say that Bella Napoli is top notch! From their authentic Italian ingredients to the delicious crust, there’s really no comparison. The pizza here had the perfect level of cheese and sauce – not too much, not too little!
The staff at Bella Napoli are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every time I walk in, they greet me with a big smile – it’s like walking into a family restaurant.
It’s no wonder that this place is so popular – it really does have some of the best pizza around! I would highly recommend Bella Napoli to anyone looking for an excellent slice of pizza in Pasadena MD.

I visited their location on Bank Street and I was impressed right away by the modern decor and hip vibe. The staff were friendly and professional, putting me at ease straight away.
The pizza was incredible. It had a perfect base – not too crunchy but still crispy – with a delicious combination of fresh toppings. The cheese was gooey but contained just enough moisture to give it texture, while the vegetables were bursting with flavor.
I’m usually a fan of plain pizza, but &pizza made me realize that there are so many more possibilities out there. They offer a variety of different toppings and sauces – I opted for the ‘Harvest’ topping which had spinach, mushrooms, red onions, garlic oil and feta cheese – it was divine!

My first bite of their pizza was a slice of pepperoni and my taste buds were immediately tantalized. The dough was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, while the sauce and cheese were both flavorful and generous. And that pepperoni – holy moly it was so fresh and juicy!
When I ordered a calzone, I knew from its smell alone that this would be amazing. Everything about it was spot-on, from the crispy crust to the gooey cheese inside. All of their ingredients are top-notch and truly make for an unforgettable experience.
But what really sets Sam’s Pizza & Subs apart from other restaurants is their friendly customer service. When I arrived to pick up my order, I couldn’t help but feel welcomed by everyone on staff. They gave me helpful recommendations for future orders and even threw in some free samples!

I’d heard great things about this establishment before I visited, so I had high expectations – and boy did they deliver! From the moment I stepped in, I was dazzled by the contemporary atmosphere. The industrial chic decor and lively atmosphere made me feel like I was in an Italian trattoria.
The food is where this place really shines. They have a wide selection of pizzas with fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. My favorite pizza of the night was their BBQ chicken – it had just the right combination of smokiness and sweetness that will make your taste buds sing with joy! Plus, not only do they offer delicious pizzas, they also have mouth-watering sides like garlic knots and mac & cheese bites.
The service here is top-notch too. All of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our meal – from suggesting new topping combinations to refilling drinks when needed.

I have to admit, I was quite skeptical when I arrived. The restaurant looks pretty unassuming from the outside, but inside it’s warm and inviting.
The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating – even when I asked for a special order of a deep-dish pizza with my favorite toppings.
They happily obliged, and what arrived was nothing short of perfection. The crust was light and flavorful, the sauce tangy yet sweet, and the cheese melted beautifully in my mouth. As if that wasn’t enough, they had sprinkled herbs on top which added an extra layer of deliciousness to the entire dish!
To say that this was the best pizza in Pasadena MD is an understatement! Carini’s Pasadena is definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in town looking for a great slice.
#12 Pats Select Pizza | Grill
The restaurant is quaint and cozy. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive servers that are always willing to help you find the perfect pizza.
Speaking of pizza, were do I start? The crust was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of crispiness. It wasn’t too thick or thin. The sauce was flavorful and had a nice hint of garlic. As for toppings, there are plenty to choose from, all of which were fresh and delicious. I opted for pepperoni and mushrooms- it was divine!
My friends and I also tried their classic cheese slices with buttery garlic knots on the side- yum! They also have other specialty pies such as the Reuben Pie (corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese) and their signature Pats Combo Pie (pepperoni, sausage, peppers).
To top it off, Pats Select Pizza | Grill has some amazing desserts! Our favorites were their homemade biscotti dipped in espresso and Bailey’s cream sauce. Perfection!
