After taste-testing 12 pizzerias, I’m ready to hand out awards for the best pizza in town. It was a tough decision, but I’m up to the challenge. Some of these places had amazing crusts, some had great sauce, and others had a truly unique combination of toppings. My palate did its work and narrowed down the choices of who should win what.

#1 Ray’s Pizza

The crust was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of crispness. The cheese had a nice mature flavor that added a certain richness to the bite, and the toppings were varied and plentiful.

The sauce was also noteworthy. It had a pure tomato flavor that I find unique to Ray’s Pizza – almost like you’re tasting a freshly-plucked Italian tomato! This earthy flavor pairs wonderfully with the other ingredients for a truly delicious experience.

On top of that, the atmosphere at Ray’s Pizza is cheery and inviting; there’s always music playing in the background, friendly staff serving up fresh slices from behind the counter, and an overall laidback vibe that I can’t help but appreciate.

First off, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic. The friendly owners greet you as soon as you walk in, and the decor is full of nostalgia that brings you back to an old-fashioned pizzeria.

The pizza itself is exquisite. It’s made with high-quality ingredients that make for a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth experience. The sauce has just the right amount of tang and the cheese is perfectly melted. Plus, the crust is so thin and crispy that it’s almost like eating a cloud!

But what really sets Original #1 Brothers Pizza apart from other places is its topping selection. You can get some unique combinations here, like sausage and pineapple or artichoke hearts and feta cheese. Of course, they also have all the traditional toppings too.

#3 Ballpark Pizza & Subs

I arrived at the restaurant a bit skeptical, until I saw the wood-fired oven in the corner. The smell of freshly baked dough and melted cheese filled the room and I knew that this was going to be good.

I decided to try one of their signature pies: The All-Star Special. It was an intense flavor experience from start to finish. The crust had just the right amount of crunch and chewiness, with a beautiful golden color from being cooked in the oven. Topped with freshly prepared sauces, meats, and vegetables, it was truly a work of art on a plate!

The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my visit, which is always appreciated when tasting such high-quality cuisine.

From the moment I stepped through the doors at Grande Pizza, I knew my journey for great pizza was coming to a successful end. The smells wafting from their wood-fired ovens were absolutely heavenly and it was clear that I had stumbled upon something truly special.

The décor of the restaurant is quite unique. It’s all focused around this giant stone pizza oven in the back, with all sorts of trinkets and art hung on the walls surrounding it. There’s also a cozy seating area with leather couches and a big-screen TV playing classic movies, making it the perfect spot to wind down after a meal or just hang out and relax with friends.

When it comes to food, Grande Pizza doesn’t disappoint. They offer an array of delicious pizzas made with freshly sourced ingredients that really set them apart from other local places. My favorite has to be their Margherita, which features imported San Marzano tomatoes and freshly torn basil leaves. The flavors are perfectly balanced and every bite transports you straight to Italy!

I first heard about Don’s from an old-timer in town who couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the pizza was. I figured he was just exaggerating so I decided to find out for myself and visit Don’s NY Pizza.

When I arrived, I was impressed by the restaurant’s charm and character. It reminded me of a classic New York pizzeria, complete with red and white checkered tablecloths, Italian music playing softly in the background, and a genuine Italian pizza oven producing delicious smelling pies.

The pizza itself did not disappoint – it lived up to its hype! The dough had a perfect texture and the cheese was meltingly delightful. The savory flavors on top were out of this world, with toppings like spicy pepperoni and sweet roasted tomatoes. And best of all, it was definitely big enough to feed my hungry group of four.

Overall, Don’s NY Pizza is a must-visit if you’re looking for the best pizza in Peoria AZ (and maybe even beyond)! From the inviting atmosphere to the perfect slices, Don’s definitely scored high marks from my food critic perspective – it gets five stars from me!

#6 Bruno’s Pizza

The atmosphere at Bruno’s is lively and inviting, and the Italian music playing in the background really sets the mood. The first thing I noticed when I walked in were two beautiful wood-fired ovens, bubbling away with pizzas inside. It was an impressive sight!

The staff at Bruno’s clearly takes their pizza making very seriously. My server recommended I try one of their signature pies – the Marco Special. It was definitely something special – loaded with generous portions of pepperoni and sausage, plenty of gooey cheese, and a perfectly cooked crust. No wonder it’s a customer favorite!

Beyond the Marco Special, all of Bruno’s pizzas are made to order and can be customized however you like. They offer gluten free and vegan options as well, so everyone can find something to enjoy. And I have to say that these toppings were above average – fresher than your typical dairy and produce offerings.

To top it off (get it?), Bruno’s offers a great selection of wines to pair with your pie. The selection is vast enough that there are plenty of options for every taste.

All things considered, given its atmosphere, excellent ingredients, and top-notch service – it’s not surprising why Bruno’s Pizza has become one of the best pizzerias in Peoria AZ!

#7 Fabio On Fire

Right when I walked in, the aroma knocked me off my feet. From the wood-fired ovens to the delicious Italian flavors, it was like smelling a symphony in my nose. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I could tell they took great pride in their work.

The best part was actually eating the pizza itself! Their unique blend of fresh ingredients and traditional Italian recipes made each bite taste totally unique. What’s more, their thin crust not only gave each slice an amazing crunch but also let their mouthwatering sauces shine through.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Fabio On Fire for anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience with some of the best pizza in Peoria AZ. I can confidently say that from my travels around the world this place rivals some of the top spots!

The pizza here is made to order and ready for you to take home and bake. I like that they give me the option to customize my pizza however I want it. Whether I want extra sauce, pepperoni, or whatever my heart desires, Papa Murphy’s has got me covered!

The prices are also affordable. The quality of the pizza definitely outweighs the price, so you get your money’s worth.

The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting. All of the staff members are friendly and helpful in answering any questions you might have about their menu. In addition, they guarantee fast delivery times making sure your delicious pizza arrives promptly at your door!

I’ll tell you one thing – after trying their pies for myself, I can confidently say that Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza is easily some of the best pizza in Peoria AZ. Delicious from beginning to end with its unique flavors, generous toppings, great service and prices – what more could you ask for?

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the aroma of freshly-made pizza filled the air.

I sat down for a slice- it was big, cheesy and delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside, and the combination of savory toppings left my mouth watering. I could honestly say that this is some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time.

I also have to give a shout out to Chrissy’s Nino’s Pizzeria for their great selection of drinks. They have everything from craft beers to vintage wines — all very reasonably priced.

My visit to Chrissy’s Nino’s Pizzeria confirmed what I already knew — this restaurant has some of the best pizza in Peoria AZ! The ambiance, hospitality and flavor make it worth stopping by next time you’re in town.

#10 CHAR Pizzeria Napoletana

The atmosphere of CHAR is inviting and warm, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Not only that, but their pizza is top-notch! When it comes to flavor, CHAR knows how to do it right – the crust is thin but still strong enough to hold up all the toppings without getting soggy. The pizza sauce has a great balance of acidity and sweetness. The pies also have an array of high-quality ingredients like mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and more.

I think one thing that really sets CHAR apart from other pizzerias in Peoria AZ is their commitment to classic Neapolitan flavor – it’s truly outstanding! Everything about the pizza was spot on – from the taste to the texture.

The crust had just the right amount of crunch. The sauce blended perfectly with the fresh mozzarella cheese. Finally, their signature toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, olives and mushrooms all added a unique flavor and texture that I hadn’t experienced before.

To top it off, Grimaldi’s also has an impressive beer selection. Whether you’re in the mood for a light pilsner or a full-bodied craft brew, they’ve got something for everyone!

The interior of the restaurant seems like it’s been around forever and I felt like I was stepping back in time. The walls were adorned with pictures and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

I decided to go for the classic, a pepperoni pizza, and boy was I not disappointed! The crust was just the right balance of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tomato sauce was full of flavor without being overly sweet or acidic. And lastly, the cheese — oh my god! It was just ooey-gooey perfection from start to finish.

Overall, Barro’s Pizza is definitely up there when it comes to great pizza. Their attention to detail is what truly sets them apart from other pizza places in Peoria AZ — if you’re looking for the best pizza in town, then look no further than Barro’s Pizza!
