After sampling pizza all over the world, I finally made it to Utica NY and sampled 12 of their best pizzerias. Along the way, I found some unique and delicious toppings as well as classic favorites.

It was a tough job, but someone had to do it! Through my travels I’ve learned that pizza is an art form; each place has its own spin on the classic dishes.

My journey has taken me from Utica to Rome and back again to find the Best Pizza in Utica NY! Without further ado, let’s get started!

#1 Pizzeria Italia

The atmosphere was cozy, the wait staff was friendly, and most importantly the pizza lived up to it’s reputation! From the perfectly crisp yet doughy crust, to the perfect blending of cheese and toppings – every bite was divine.

The classic Italian dishes like lasagna and spaghetti also had a delicious homemade touch that made me feel like I was dining in Rome. Even their side salads were fresh and flavorful.

I’ve been lucky enough to sample some of the world’s best pizzas, but Pizzeria Italia certainly tops my list for the best pie in Utica NY!

#2 Two Brothers Cafe and Pizzeria

I had the chance to try a slice of their signature NY style pizza and it was one of the best bites I’ve ever had. The crust was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of char on it. The sauce was flavorful and slightly sweet, and the cheese was gooey, stringy, and downright delicious.

But what really made this pizza stand out from others I’ve tried is their unique topping combinations. They offer traditional toppings like pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms as well as more gourmet selections like pineapple, prosciutto, spinach, artichokes, and more. Every bite was packed with flavor!

The atmosphere of Two Brothers Cafe and Pizzeria is also great. The decor is rustic-chic with exposed brick walls and cozy tables that are perfect for sharing a pie. The staff were friendly and attentive (which isn’t always a given when you’re eating in a pizza joint).

#3 Bellagio Restaurant and Pizzeria

I’m not sure if it’s the world-class sauce or the way they cook their crust, but this pizza is top-notch. The cheese is always melted perfectly and the toppings are always fresh! My favorite combination is the pepperoni and mushroom, but there are lots of other options to choose from so you can mix-and-match. The service was also impeccable – my order came out right on time, and the servers were friendly and efficient.

If you’re looking for a great place to get pizza in Utica NY, look no further than Bellagio Restaurant and Pizzeria! This place definitely has some of the best pizza around.

#4 North End Pizza & Tap

The first thing that struck me about North End Pizza & Tap was the decor; it had a classic feel that reminded me of some of the amazing Italian restaurants I’ve visited. The staff seemed friendly and welcoming, but more importantly they knew their pizza!

When it came time to order I went with the classic pepperoni and cheese pizza. When it arrived I could tell that this isn’t just any generic pizza; this was something special. It looked like it had been made with lots of love and care. As soon as I took my first bite, I knew I had found greatness! The crust was perfect, not too thin or thick, and the cheese and pepperoni melted together in perfect harmony.

Topping off excellent food with excellent service, North End Pizza & Tap is hands-down one of the best places for pizza in Utica NY! From the atmosphere to the flavor, this place has something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss out – make sure you check out North End Pizza & Tap next time you are in town!

#5 Nina’s Pizza

I had heard about Nina’s Pizza from some foodie friends, so I was eager to give it a try. When I arrived, the place looked inviting with its warm and cozy atmosphere. The smell of freshly baked pizza only added to my anticipation.

When it came time to order, I knew where I wanted to start—the classic Margherita pizza. And boy, did it deliver! The cheese was perfectly melted and combined with the sweet tomato sauce and fragrant basil leaves in a symphony of flavors that was simply heavenly.

The other pies at Nina’s Pizza lived up to their reputation as well. From the creative Buffalo Chicken Pie to the delectable Sausage and Mushroom variety, each slice had its own unique flavor that left me wanting more.

To top it all off, the friendly staff created an incredibly welcoming environment that made my experience even more enjoyable. All in all, if you’re ever in Utica NY looking for some truly spectacular pizza, Nina’s Pizza is your place!

#6 Parkway Pizza

As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I knew that this place was going to be something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cheerful staff waiting to serve me up some delicious pizza.

Once I had my order placed, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. The smell coming from the oven was simply divine! When I finally got my slice it looked almost too good to eat! It was cooked perfectly – golden brown on top, but still soft and fluffy underneath.

The flavor of Parkway Pizza’s pizza is what really won me over. The sauce was rich and the cheese had just the right amount of tanginess. On top of that, they had a great selection of toppings that you could choose from so everyone can find something they like!

All in all, I highly recommend Parkway Pizza for anyone looking for the best pizza in Utica NY – you won’t regret it!

#7 Capo’s Pizzeria & Deli

From the moment I entered, I knew this was a special place. The décor had a classic Italian vibe; red and white checkered tablecloths, fresh dough laid out on marble countertops and the smells of freshly made pizza wafting through the air.

The first thing that caught my eye were the many different pizzas they had to offer. From classic cheese to pepperoni and everything in between, they really did have something for everyone! But what really stood out to me were their creative specialty pies, like the Garden Pizza or their BBQ Meatlovers! It was clear that this wasn’t just any pizza joint – these guys do pizza like no other!

But of course, pizzas are nothing without a tasty sauce and this is where Capo’s shines – their sauces are made from farm-fresh tomatoes and herbs picked the same day. Every bite of their pizzas is full of flavor and texture; crispy yet chewy crusts with just enough sauce to keep them from becoming soggy.

In short, Capo’s Pizzeria & Deli has some of the best pizza in Utica New York. So don’t wait any longer – go sample some of their delicious slices today!

#8 O’Scugnizzo Pizzeria

I stopped by this pizzeria on a whim, and I’m so glad I did – the pizza was amazing. From the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh sauce, cheese, and crust is enough to draw you in.

The folks at O’Scugnizzo really know their stuff when it comes to pizza-making; each slice was cooked to perfection. The combination of flavorful toppings and just the right amount of crunchy texture made every bite a delicious experience. You could tell they take pride in their craft — it’s not just a job for them!

Plus, they offer a great selection of craft beers to pair with your pizza which was an added bonus.

Overall, I had an amazing experience eating at O’Scugnizzo Pizzeria. They serve some of the best pizza in Utica NY and have earned my highest five star rating!

#9 Rosario’s Pizzeria East Utica

I can honestly say that this eatery has a great atmosphere, with a friendly staff and an inviting dining space. It really makes for a pleasant experience all around.

The menu at Rosario’s Pizzeria East Utica is undoubtedly top-notch. I would recommend the “House Special” if you’re feeling adventurous; it’s full of fresh veggies, sausage and pepperoni, and it’s absolutely delicious! They also have some great varieties of thin crust pizza – my favorite is the Signature Pie with its flavorful combination of sun-dried tomatoes, roasted eggplant and feta cheese. Yum!

But what really sets Rosario’s apart from other pizza restaurants in Utica NY is their signature sauce. It’s made with freshly picked tomatoes, herbs, garlic and olive oil – it truly stands out against many other sauces I’ve had.

Overall, I would easily give Rosario’s Pizzeria East Utica five stars out of five – they are definitely the best pizza place in Utica NY!

#10 Lukins Brick Oven Pizza

I was thoroughly impressed with the flavors and quality of the pizza. The crust was perfectly cooked and had a great crunch, while the toppings were evenly distributed and flavorful. I even tried their signature Lukin’s Deluxe which was a delicious combination of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers – definitely a winner in my book!

The atmosphere at Lukins Brick Oven Pizza is also top-notch. The restaurant is cozy yet inviting, making it a great spot for grabbing a bite with friends or family. The staff was friendly and helpful too, which added to the overall experience.

In conclusion, Lukins Brick Oven Pizza has earned its title as one of the best pizzas in Utica NY! Whether you’re looking for an authentic brick-oven pizza experience or just hungry for some amazing food – this restaurant is well worth checking out!

#11 Doti’s Little Roma Pizza & Catering

At first glance, the place seems small and unassuming. But when you step inside, you’re immediately hit with a wonderful smell of pizza dough baking in the oven. Not to mention the fact that there’s a smile on every customer’s face – it’s obvious that Doti makes something special.

The pizzas themselves are delicious! The crusts are hand-crafted, made with a light yet crisp texture that holds up against all toppings. I especially love their signature sauce which is full of flavor without being overbearing. And don’t even get me started with their cheese! It’s always perfectly melted and gooey, adding just the right amount of creaminess to each bite.

But what really takes this pizza joint over the top are their creative toppings. Whether you’re looking for traditional favorites like pepperoni or something more adventurous like feta & caramelized onions, they have it all. And if by some chance they don’t have anything that you fancy, they’ll work with you to craft your own custom pie!

All in all, Doti’s Little Roma Pizza & Catering can proudly lay claim to being one of Utica NY’s best pizza joints and is definitely worth a visit (or two!) whenever passing through town.

#12 Chesterfield’s Tavolo

When I arrived, I was impressed by how inviting the restaurant was – a perfect spot for tourists. The staff were welcoming and happy to answer any questions I had as a first-time visitor. Plus, they served alcohol (and hard liquor!) – so my dining experience was truly elevated!

The menu was incredible; they had options for kids, vegetarians, and of course, pizza! As a food critic, it’s important that I sample all the options available and that is what I did. The pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had! It was cooked just right with crispy crust and delicious toppings. The vegetarian options were flavorful too.

And if you are looking for something sweet after your meal, Chesterfield’s Tavolo offers insanely good desserts – from their homemade ice cream to their cakes. It left me wanting more!

My only issue with Chesterfield’s Tavolo is that they don’t offer delivery. But considering how amazing the food is, it certainly doesn’t diminish my five star rating of this spot!
