I’m not one to be easily impressed, but this small pizza joint managed to exceed my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and always happy to answer any questions I had.

When it came time to order, there were so many options that it took me a while to decide! The menu is filled with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and of course – PIZZA! All of their pizzas are made-to-order with fresh ingredients and can be customized with different toppings. If you’re feeling especially daring you can even build your own pizza from scratch!

I decided on one of their classics: the white pie topped with spinach and mushrooms. And would you believe it? It was hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted! The crust was perfectly cooked and crisp on the outside, yet still chewy in the middle; just how it should be. The toppings were also really flavorful – they didn’t skimp on portion size either!

I’ve been to Italy, New York City, Chicago, and more in search of the perfect pizza. I’ve had thin crusts and thick crusts, gourmet toppings and simple ones. But Sal’s NY Pie Pizzeria really hit the spot with their delicious pies!

The restaurant has a classic Italian vibe that instantly made me feel right at home. The decor is understated but charming, with a touch of modern style here and there. The service was excellent – the staff were helpful and friendly throughout my visit.

And then there’s the food! The fresh-baked dough was light and crisp, while the sauce was rich and flavorful. They have all your classic favorites on the menu, from pepperoni to white pizzas to veggie options, plus some exciting specials like artichoke hearts or spinach & garlic. Every bite is truly delicious!

My overall experience at Sal’s NY Pie Pizzeria was excellent – if you’re ever in Va Beach you should definitely check it out for yourself! Trust me – it’s some of the best pizza in town!

The atmosphere is quaint, the servers are friendly and their pizzas are simply superb. All ingredients used to make the pizza are fresh, flavorful and of course, delicious. The dough is made in-house every day and it’s absolutely spot on – it has just the right amount of crunchiness and chewiness. There’s a great selection of toppings – from classic favorites like pepperoni to more interesting options such as sopressata and anchovies.

I tried a variety of pizzas during my visit, including the ‘Olympic Hero’ with bacon bits, roasted red peppers and mozzarella cheese, and the ‘Apple Pie’ with apples, cinnamon sugar, melted cheese and caramelized onions. Both were so good that I found it difficult to choose which one was better!

To top off my meal, I tried one of their ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Wow! It’s definitely among the best desserts I’ve ever had – made with warm cookies and creamy ice cream that melts in your mouth with every bite.
