The pizza itself? Out of this world! The crust was perfect – not too thick or too thin – and it had just enough cheese to make it delicious without making it greasy. Plus, there were so many topping options! You can customize your pizza with whatever you want, from traditional toppings like pepperoni to unique creations like jalapeños and pineapple.
My only complaint about Alphonso’s The Original is that they don’t offer delivery service. It would be great if I could enjoy their fantastic pizza from home sometimes! But overall, I can confidently say that this is the best pizza in West Allis – hands down!

My first impression was excellent – the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, with a wide variety of seating options. Upon ordering, I noticed that the staff is extremely knowledgeable about pizza and quickly pointed me in the direction of their specialty pizzas.
The pizza itself was delightful! From the fresh toppings to the perfectly cooked crust, it was definitely one of my favorites. Additionally, they offer a variety of sides to ensure that you can make your meal as hearty or as light as you like.
Perhaps my only complaint was the lack of delivery options – while I could’ve easily dined in at Pizza Hut Express, sometimes it’s nice to be able to enjoy great pizza without having to leave home.

Let’s start with the crust. It was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and had amazing flavor. The combination of thickness and texture was just right – not too thick, not too thin.
The cheese, oh my goodness – it was unbelievable! Perfectly melted with great flavor and just the right amount of saltiness. I also loved that they used a blend of mozzarella and cheddar!
The sauce…well, let’s just say it was off the charts in terms of flavor. Sweet, salty and a hint of garlic – all balanced to perfection.
My overall experience at Mr.D’s Pizza was excellent! The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were welcoming – so friendly you can tell this is a family-run business. And the pizza itself? Let’s just say I’m already planning my next trip back for more! Best pizza in West Allis? You bet it is!

I was immediately charmed when I walked in the door and saw that this place was decorated like an old-school pizza pub, complete with vintage photos of pizzerias on the walls. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and even though it was busy, they made me feel right at home.
The pizza was out of this world! The crust had a wonderful crunch to it, not too thick but with just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce tasted so fresh and flavorful—it made my mouth water just thinking about it! And they really let me customize my pizza with an array of toppings from pepperoni to mushrooms to olives.
Plus, the price can’t be beat. For the quality of pizza you’re getting here, I’m sure it must be one of the best bargains around town.
