I’ve been all over the world trying different pizzas, so I know what to look for in an excellent slice. I’m here to tell you that Saginaw has some of the best pizza around!

I took it upon myself to try 12 different places around town, and since I have a discerning palette, I feel confident in presenting these recommendations. So grab a napkin and get ready for a tour of Saginaw’s finest pizza places!

#1 Milano’s Pizza

My experience started off incredibly well when the friendly staff welcomed me with a warm smile and a complimentary slice of pepperoni. The atmosphere in Milano’s was warm and inviting, and the staff were more than happy to answer any questions that I had about their menu.

I opted for the classic Margherita pizza, which arrived quickly and hot from the oven. I was delighted to see that it was made from fresh tomato sauce and topped with plenty of cheese and basil. One bite into this pizza was enough to convince me: there is no better pizza in Saginaw MI!

The crust was light yet crunchy, just as it should be, while the toppings were generously proportioned. Everything was cooked perfectly – not too crispy or too chewy – making for an unforgettable experience.

To finish off my meal, I enjoyed a tall glass of soda and some homemade garlic knots on the side. All in all, Milano’s Pizza did not disappoint and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious pizza in Saginaw MI.

#2 Merl’s Tavern

The atmosphere here is great. I love the fact that it serves alcohol (and hard liquor!) – it makes for a nice spot to spend some time with friends and family. Plus, it’s conveniently located in town, making it a great tourist spot too. You can also watch sports on one of their TVs while you eat, so whether you’re from Saginaw or just visiting, Merl’s Tavern is the perfect place to get top quality pizza.

I must admit, the only downside of Merl’s Tavern is that they don’t offer delivery… yet! But that doesn’t stop me from recommending this joint as the best pizza experience in town. Overall, I highly recommend Merl’s Tavern for anyone looking for truly excellent pizza.

#3 Fuzzy’s Restaurant

The pizza is fresh and delicious, with a perfect crust and the most flavorful toppings. The ambience of the restaurant is cozy, yet modern, and the staff was pleasant throughout my entire visit. I especially appreciated their ability to accommodate my exact specifications for dough and sauce consistency.

I sampled several pizzas from Fuzzy’s menu – all of which were to die for! Their pesto chicken pizza is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Every single pizza was a hit with me and left me wanting more. This place definitely serves up some of the best pies in town… or maybe even the world!

The next time I’m in Saginaw, I’ll be sure to make a stop at Fuzzy’s Restaurant – because this place has some of the best pizza around!

#4 G’s Pizzeria Bar & Grill

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of toppings, including classics like pepperoni and mushrooms as well as more adventurous options like anchovies, pineapple, and zucchini. And their crust? It’s the flaky, buttery goodness that I’ve been dreaming about since my last trip to Italy!

The atmosphere was great too – the restaurant itself had a cozy, yet upscale vibe with plenty of seating for guests. The servers were helpful and friendly: when I expressed an interest in tasting every item on their menu, they quickly obliged without making me feel rushed or pressured. Even though it wasn’t particularly busy during my visit, they still managed to provide excellent service.

The best part, though? The pizza! G’s Pizzeria really knows what they’re doing when it comes to crafting delicious pies in the traditional Italian style. Every bite was filled with complex flavors from all of the various toppings – it’s no wonder why this place has become popular so quickly. If you’re looking for some truly top-notch pizza in Saginaw MI, G’s Pizzeria Bar & Grill is definitely worth a visit!

#5 Jet’s Pizza

The first thing I noticed when I visited Jet’s Pizza was the friendly atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming, and they made sure that I had everything I needed. They also gave me some background information on their pizzas, which was really interesting!

The pizza itself was delicious! They use fresh ingredients and cook their pies to perfection. The crust had just the right amount of crunch, while the cheese was deliciously gooey and the toppings were incredibly flavorful.

I also liked that Jet’s Pizza offers a wide variety of topping options (including lots of vegetarian options), so there’s something for everyone. In addition, their menu is reasonably priced and includes some unique items that you don’t find at other pizza places (like a BBQ chicken pizza!).

Overall, my experience at Jet’s Pizza was fantastic! It truly has some of the best pizza in Saginaw MI—and it even passed my tough food critic standards! If you’re ever in town, make sure to check out Jet’s Pizza—you won’t be disappointed!

#6 The New Pompeii

When I arrived, the restaurant was bustling with pizza-lovers eager to try what’s said to be the best pizza in town. I dived right in and ordered their signature Margherita pizza. When it arrived at my table, it looked like a work of art – the mouth-watering combination of cheese, tomatoes and basil on top of the perfect thin crust had me drooling!

I took my first bite and boy, was I impressed! The crust was perfectly crisp, but not too crunchy. The cheese had just the right amount of meltiness and savory flavor. And the tomatoes were so sweet and juicy. But it was the basil that really put this pizza over the top. It added a subtle hint of earthy sweetness that completed this work of art.

The New Pompeii truly has some of the best pizza in Saginaw MI, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing slice!

#7 Hungry Howie’s Pizza

The dough was perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside but soft on the inside – and it was topped with some of the most delicious toppings I’ve ever tasted. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my pizza had just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and topping.

I tried two varieties of Hungry Howie’s Pizza – a classic pepperoni and one with black olives and mushrooms. Both were equally as delicious! The crust had a nice crunchy flavor that wasn’t overpowering, while the toppings added just the perfect amount of bite.

I can honestly say that this is the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in Saginaw MI! So if you’re looking for great pizza (and not just any frozen store bought variety) give Hungry Howie’s Pizza a try! You won’t be disappointed.

#8 Hungry Howie’s Pizza

First off, they have a great selection of pizzas to choose from. From classic cheese, to Hawaiian and everything in between. They even have specialty pies like the “Howie Special”!

The crust is just right; not too thin but still has plenty of flavor. The sauce is delicious – full of herbs and spices that really bring out the flavor in the toppings. The cheeses are top-notch; always fresh, never greasy or processed tasting. The toppings are varied and abundant – from pepperoni to mushrooms and more!

Finally, they offer great deals like $5 large 1 topping pizzas on Mondays! That’s hard to beat anywhere else in Saginaw MI!

#9 Good Time’s Pizza

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great – the friendly staff made me feel right at home! The space was cozy and inviting with lots of TVs playing sports games, so there was never a dull moment.

When it came to the food, I couldn’t believe my taste buds! The crust was perfectly cooked – not too crunchy but also not soggy in the middle. The cheese and toppings were flavorful and abundant – they weren’t skimpy on goodies! My favorite part was finishing off the leftovers… let’s just say I had to do some extra walking today!

Overall, Good Time’s Pizza is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for some delicious pizza in Saginaw. It’s now one of my new favorite places for pizza – after all, it has been declared as having some of the best pizza in town!

#10 UNO Pizzeria & Grill

The pizzas here are fresh and delicious. I ordered a classic style pizza with mozzarella and pepperoni, and it was cooked to perfection. The crust is perfectly thin yet still had that satisfying crunch when I bit into it. The sauce was flavorful and the cheese melted in my mouth.

The toppings were generous too – the pepperoni was plentiful and juicy, the mushrooms were cooked just enough so they weren’t soggy, and the olives added a nice salty flavor!

In addition to their pizzas, I also tried some of UNO Pizzeria & Grill’s appetizers, including their famous garlic knots. Let me tell you, these were pretty amazing too! They were cooked until golden brown and served with flavorful marinara for dipping. Yum!

All-in-all, UNO Pizzeria & Grill is one of the best places to go for pizza in Saginaw MI. Their fresh ingredients, tasty toppings, and perfect crust make them stand out from the rest of the competition in town. If you’re ever in town looking for a good slice of pizza then you should definitely give this place a try – you won’t be disappointed!

#11 Happy’s Pizza

The atmosphere is just awesome; there’s lively music playing, fun decorating the walls, and you can even watch the pizzas being made in the open kitchen. But what really sets Happy’s apart is their amazing pizza.

I tried a variety of different pies and they were all superb. The crust was thin and crisp with a light, buttery flavor. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, ranging from classic cheese to more inventive combos like banana peppers and salami. They also had some delicious veggie options too!

I honestly don’t think I’ve had better pizza anywhere else in Saginaw! Plus, the staff was super friendly and helpful – it was like eating with family. All in all, I highly recommend Happy’s Pizza if you’re ever in town looking for an absolutely delicious pizza experience!

#12 Tony’s Original Restaurant

The atmosphere of the restaurant is top notch, and I love that they use only the freshest ingredients to make their pizzas. The dough was perfectly cooked; not too thick, but definitely not too thin either. The combination of sauce and cheese was divine! As far as the toppings go, Tony’s certainly doesn’t skimp – you get generous amounts of every topping you order.

On top of all that, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience at Tony’s Original Restaurant.

I’m happy to report that I am declaring Tony’s Original Restaurant has the best pizza in Saginaw MI! If you’re ever in town, I highly recommend giving them a try – you won’t be disappointed!
