I’ve had the pleasure of tasting pizzas from all corners of the world, so I was excited for the challenge of seeking out the best pizza in Hickory. After sampling twelve local places, it was time to crown one as the superior slice.

I have a habit of being humorous and lighthearted when discussing food because, after all, eating great pizza should be fun! So with taste buds entertained and my stomach filled, I’m proud to share my findings on which pizzeria reigns supreme.

#1 Jerry’s NY Pizza

The crust has the perfect crunch and chew, and the toppings are so flavorful that I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad slice. Plus, they offer dessert pizzas, which adds to the overall experience – who doesn’t love a good sweet treat after a savory slice?

That being said, there’s one downside – they don’t offer delivery. So if you’re looking for good pizza delivered to your doorstep, you may have to look elsewhere. But if you’re willing to take a trip to Jerry’s NY Pizza, then it will be worth it! The quality of their pies is something that must be tasted in order to be believed. Trust me – this is some of the best pizza around!

#2 IL Bambini NY Style Pizza

The atmosphere is inviting and the pizza itself is cooked to fresh perfection. The crust is crispy and chewy, just like you’d find in New York. Toppings are generous and plentiful, so you wouldn’t be able to finish even the small size without being stuffed!

One of the things that really sets this restaurant apart from others is their dessert offerings. They have a variety of sweet treats that pair perfectly with their pies – from brownies to cheesecake.

Unfortunately, IL Bambini NY Style Pizza does not currently offer delivery, so visitors need to enjoy their pizza at the restaurant or make sure they can get to it within a reasonable amount of time if they wish to take it home with them.

All in all, IL Bambini NY Style Pizza makes some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in Hickory NC! So if you’re in the neighborhood looking for a fantastic pie, this place should definitely be at the top of your list!

#3 Tony’s Pizza Hickory

When I arrived at Tony’s Pizza Hickory, I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere and staff. The staff were friendly and welcoming, almost as if they knew I was coming!

The pizza itself was nothing short of spectacular. From the perfectly cooked crust to the flavorful toppings, this pizza truly stands out from other pizza places around town. The cheese was gooey and delicious, like something you might find in Italy!

The prices are also very reasonable for such high-quality food. Plus, Tony’s has a great variety of sides and drinks to choose from. Their garlic knots are some of the best I’ve ever had!

Overall, I’m giving Tony’s Pizza Hickory two enthusiastic thumbs up! If you’re looking for the best pizza in Hickory NC, Tony’s is definitely worth a visit. Bon appetit!

#4 Geppeto’s Pizza

The atmosphere was charming and inviting, with warm wood panels and checkered floors. The music playing in the background was lively yet unobtrusive and added to the pleasant vibe.

The customer service was superb! They made sure I felt welcome as soon as I stepped in and answered every question I had with enthusiasm.

But let’s get to the pizza – ah, where do I start? Geppeto’s Pizza offers an incredible variety of deliciously crafted pies – loaded with cheese, fresh veggies, top quality meats and special sauces that will tantalize your taste buds from start to finish. The crust is cooked perfectly every time – crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Plus, you can customize your pizza to perfectly suit your personal preferences!

I recently had their pepperoni pizza, which was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! It had just enough kick for my palate without becoming overpowering. Every bite was a flavor explosion!

In conclusion, Geppeto’s Pizza won’t disappoint. Their excellent customer service combined with their delicious food makes it one of my favorite places for pizza in Hickory NC!

#5 Little Caesars Pizza

When I took my first bite of the deep dish pepperoni pizza from Little Caesars, I knew this was what pizza was supposed to taste like! The dough was perfectly crispy and crunchy, the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and spice, and the cheese was gooey and melty. It’s no wonder that everyone who walks through their doors leaves with a smile on their face!

Besides having amazing pizzas, Little Caesars also offers a great selection of sides, desserts, and drinks. Their garlic-knots are light and airy while still being packed with flavor. And if you’re feeling brave after all that cheesy goodness, I highly recommend one of their delicious cinnamon-sticks for dessert.

The only downside to Little Caesars is that they don’t offer delivery. But trust me when I say it’s worth the effort to get off your couch and make the trip there!

#6 Da Vinci’s Italian Restaurant

The atmosphere at Da Vinci’s Italian Restaurant is always inviting and lively. From the friendly staff to the cozy seating arrangements, I felt right at home in this quaint Italian joint.

The pizzas here are nothing short of heavenly. Whether it’s a traditional pepperoni pizza or something more exotic, like their seafood pizza, Da Vinci’s always manages to tantalize my taste buds. Their thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas are crafted with tender love and care and they don’t lose any of their flavor after being cooked in the wood-fired ovens. The toppings on each pizza were executed perfectly and the flavor combinations blew me away.

I also have to give props to the pasta dishes here. From orecchiette to gnocchi alla romana, you really can’t go wrong with any of them!

The bottom line? If you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Hickory NC, then look no further than Da Vinci’s Italian Restaurant!

#7 Hickory Social House

The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, and I immediately felt welcomed by the friendly staff. They have a great selection of beers on tap and an impressive wine list to pair with your meal.

When it came to the pizza, I was not disappointed! The traditional crust was perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The house specialty – a prosciutto, fig, and blue cheese pie – was out of this world! The combination of flavors was truly remarkable and made for an unforgettable culinary experience.

I would highly recommend Hickory Social House for anyone looking for a slice (or two!) of some of the best pizza in Hickory NC.

From the moment I stepped in to Little Caesars, I knew I was in for an amazing treat. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the staff were more than welcoming.

But let’s get to the pizza. Every slice was cooked to perfection! The cheese was deliciously melted and abundant, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The crust was perfectly seasoned and the slices held up well when folded in half without crumbling like some of the other pizzas out there.

Simply put, Little Caesars serves up some of the best pizza around! Whether you’re looking for a classic pepperoni or something creative like a deep dish white pizza, you won’t be disappointed with what they have to offer. If you’re ever in need of a delicious pie to satisfy your hunger cravings, head on over to Little Caesars – it’s well worth it!

#9 Village Inn Pizza Viewmont

I’m no stranger to pizza. I’ve had some of the best and some of the worst. So, when I arrived at Village Inn Pizza Viewmont, I was pleasantly surprised!

The atmosphere is casual but inviting, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu is diverse enough that there is something for everyone, and they even offer gluten free options so everyone can enjoy their delicious creations.

The pizza itself was outstanding! The crust was perfectly cooked, with an ideal amount of crispness on the outside. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And not to mention it had just the right amount of cheese!

Overall, this place has become a go-to spot for me whenever I’m in Hickory NC looking for great pizza. It really does have some of the best pizza in town, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance.

#10 Chuck E. Cheese

The atmosphere is light, jovial and family-friendly. Kids of all ages can come and enjoy the bright, cheerful decor while munching on delicious pizza. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming; I was immediately impressed with the level of maintenance and sanitation.

As for the pizza itself, it’s excellent! Freshly made in house daily and cooked to perfection, the pizza here tastes great with a variety of crusts and toppings to choose from. My personal favorite is their classic cheese pie – it’s cheesy for sure but there is also some kind of sweetness that really makes it unique. The combination of sauces and seasoning makes this one of my favorites in hickory nc.

Oh yeah – you can’t forget about their delicious dessert slices! I tried the cinnamon crumble slice which was really yummy. Sweet yet crisp, It complemented my meal perfectly.

Overall, Chuck E Cheese delivers a one-of-a-kind experience when it comes to pizza in hickory nc. Their food is fresh and tasty, the atmosphere fun and inviting – what more could you ask for? Highly recommend!

#11 Mellow Mushroom Hickory

The atmosphere is incredible – it’s a great spot for tourists and sports fan alike! With plenty of TVs to watch live games, I’m tempted to stick around all day! The menu offers something for everyone with vegetarian options, a kid’s menu, and even hard liquor.

As far as the pizza goes, words cannot describe how delicious it is. It’s like biting into pure heaven with every cheesy bite. Every ingredient is perfectly balanced and the overall flavor will have you salivating with anticipation for your next slice!

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery, so you’ll need to make the trip out to enjoy their amazing pizza. But trust me – it’s worth every minute in the car! You can even finish off your meal with one of their delicious desserts for the ultimate dining experience.

If you haven’t had a chance to try Mellow Mushroom Hickory yet, I highly recommend adding it to your list of places to try! It’s definitely some of the best pizza in Hickory NC.

#12 Marco’s Pizza

Let’s start with the atmosphere. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for gathering with friends or family for an enjoyable meal. The walls are decorated with vintage photos and posters of classic Italian films, giving you a sense that you’ve stepped into Italy. The staff is friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand!

Now onto the pizza. Marco’s Pizza has an excellent selection of pies ranging from traditional cheese to meat-lovers and everything in between. Each slice is perfectly charred, bubbly, and bursting with flavor. I especially liked the fact that they use fresh vegetables, herbs, meats, and cheeses on their pizzas –which really sets them apart from other places.

The pepperoni pizza was absolutely delightful! It was loaded with freshly sliced pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and tomato sauce. The crust was thin but very crisp and held together perfectly despite all of the toppings! And let me tell you –the combination of melted cheese and zesty pepperoni was out of this world!

I highly recommend Marco’s Pizza as one of the best places in Hickory NC to get great pizza! Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a full-course meal with friends or family, you won’t be disappointed by what they have to offer. Go check it out for yourself –I guarantee you’ll find something delicious!
