After searching far and wide for the best pies in the world, I felt like a kid in a candy shop when I got to check out the twelve pizza places located down in sunny Hoboken. Armed with an open mind and a big appetite, I was ready to take on my latest challenge: finding the best pizza in town!

#1 Madison Pizza Lab

The first thing that impressed me was the beautiful, light-filled space and the incredibly friendly staff. It’s clear they care deeply about pizza; they’re constantly experimenting with new ingredients and flavors!

The pizza itself is a work of art – thin, crispy crusts, melt in your mouth mozzarella cheese and wonderful homemade sauces that really bring out the flavor of the toppings. My favorite is the ‘Tomato Pie’, which has a fennel Parmesan crust, topped with a robust tomato sauce and smoked mozzarella.

I have to mention their unique wood-fired oven too; it gives their pizzas an unmistakable smoky taste. The flavors are so good, I’ve been twice this week already!

Overall, Madison Pizza Lab is one of the best places for pizza in Hoboken NJ – I highly recommend you give it a try if you ever find yourself there!

#2 Otto Strada

The atmosphere was warm and inviting – a cozy atmosphere that was perfect for an intimate meal or a night out with good friends. The staff was attentive and friendly and I immediately felt at home here.

The pizza itself was something special – thin-crust, made from fresh ingredients, and cooked perfectly in a wood-fired oven. It was light yet flavorful with just the right amount of char on the crust. The toppings were delicious; the combination of traditional Italian recipes with some unique flavors gave each pizza its own personality.

I had the pleasure of trying their signature pies as well, with interesting combinations like sweet potato and kale or pineapple and gorgonzola – all bursting with flavor. My favorite by far was the classic margherita: simply beautiful!

The first time I stepped into Apulia, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff and shown to a cozy table. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere with its comfortable seating and vibrant colors on the walls.

I noticed right away that the menu offered some unique toppings that you wouldn’t normally find on pizza, like artichoke hearts, arugula, and figs. I was very impressed!

I went ahead and ordered a classic margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato sauce. When it arrived at my table, I couldn’t believe how delicious it looked! I was really impressed with their extensive menu, which included an array of different topping combinations. They also had a wide selection of authentic Italian wines to choose from.

On my recent visit to Mario’s, I was greeted warmly by the staff and was quickly seated. The atmosphere was cozy, with wood paneled walls and Italian decor throughout.

I knew I had chosen wisely when I saw all of the delicious looking pizzas on display. After much deliberation, I settled on a classic margherita pie with extra cheese, pepperoni and tomatoes.

I had heard great things about this place, but I was skeptical. Could it really live up to the hype? I’m happy to report that the answer is absolutely yes!

Let’s start with their service. It wasn’t just good – it was excellent! The staff were friendly and always willing to help. They made sure we had the best experience, and that was definitely appreciated.
