#1 Simò Pizza
- Offers dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
- Serves alcohol
My first impression of the place was great – they had a good selection of beers, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. The moment I took my first bite of the pizza, though, I knew this place was something special.
The dough was soft yet crisp and flaky – the perfect foundation for an amazing pizza. The sauce was fantastic – flavorful and not too spicy – and the cheese was creamy and melted in my mouth with perfection. The toppings were fresh and vibrant.
I’m always looking for something unique when it comes to pizza, so Simò Pizza also gets bonus points from me for one interesting topping: asparagus! Topping pizzas with asparagus is an inventive idea that I haven’t seen elsewhere, but it works wonderfully here – it adds crunch and flavor that you won’t find with more traditional toppings.
All in all, Simò Pizza’s pizza is top-notch quality. Thanks to their skillful preparation of the ingredients and flavor combinations I’d call them the best pizza in West Village without hesitation!
