#1 Petes Rocky Mountain Pizza
- Has some vegetarian options
- Offers dessert
- Has a kid’s menu
- Serves alcohol
- Nice tourist spot
I have to say, the atmosphere of this place was unbeatable. It’s a small family-owned pizzeria, and the decor was cozy with rustic mountain vibes.
When it came to the food, I was truly impressed. They had a wide variety of unique pizzas featuring local ingredients from around West Yellowstone. I had the Four Peaks Pizza which combined four different types of cheeses and pepperoni for a delicious flavor profile.
The crust itself was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of crunch. The cheese topping was so rich and creamy – definitely much better than any pizza that I’ve tried in other places!
Overall, Petes Rocky Mountain Pizza is easily one of the best pizza joints I’ve eaten at in West Yellowstone. Highly recommended!

#2 Wild West Pizzeria & Saloon
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Great place to watch sports
- Has a kid’s menu
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
The place has a great western atmosphere, and the staff were all friendly. Everyone was dressed like a cowboy and the saloon part of the restaurant had live music that added to the experience.
As for the pizza, it was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The crust was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the toppings were not only fresh, but they really brought out the flavor of the pie. Not too many places can get their toppings this right!
The price was also very reasonable considering how high quality Wild West Pizzeria & Saloon’s pizza is. If you’re ever in West Yellowstone and looking for some excellent pizza, you won’t find better than what Wild West Pizzeria & Saloon serves up!

Their pies are cooked in a wood-fired oven and they offer a huge variety of toppings. The dough is just the right thickness – not too thin, not too thick.
The atmosphere at Slippery Otter Pub is perfect for families or groups of friends looking to grab a bite and grab a drink. They serve beer, wine, and hard liquor, so you can sip on your favorite beverage while enjoying your pizza. Plus, they have a kid’s menu which makes it easy to please everyone in the family.
I was really pleased by their dessert selection as well; it’s something you won’t find elsewhere in town!
My only complaint is that they don’t offer delivery service – but it’s definitely worth the trip to west yellowstone for some of the best pizza around!
