I’ve tasted pizza from all over the world, but now it’s time to narrow the search and hone in on Terre Haute. After eating twelve pizzas in town, and hardly able to stomach another bite, I can declare that the best pizza in Terre Haute is… (Well you’ll have to keep reading to find out!)

But let me tell you this—I’d come back for more! Join me as I guide you through my taste testing experience of the 12 top-rated pizza places in this great city. Along the way, I promise some laughs and hopefully a few drool-worthy slices.

#1 Azzip Pizza

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed with a friendly smile and delicious aroma wafting in the air. The interior was cozy yet modern, and perfect for a night out.

The menu had enough options to please everyone – adults can choose from their long list of pizzas, while kids can pick and choose from the kid’s menu. And vegetarians? You’re covered too! There were even some vegan options if you’re into that sort of thing.

I ordered up a traditional Margherita pizza and it did not disappoint! The crust was just slightly charred, the sauce zesty, and the mozzarella melted perfectly into the top. The food here is simply divine!

When it came time for dessert, Azzip Pizza once again exceeded expectations by offering several different sweet treats to end my meal on a high note. Overall, it was a great dining experience and one that I highly recommend – not just for tourists but also locals looking for some fantastic pizza. Plus, they serve beer if you need something to wash down all that wonderful pizza!

The only downside (if you can call it that) to this place is that unfortunately they do not offer delivery service – But honestly, who needs delivery when you can have some of the best pizza in Terre Haute right in front of you!

#2 MOD Pizza

When I stepped inside, I was greeted by a cheerful staff and immediately felt welcomed. The decor was modern and inviting, making it the perfect spot for an afternoon pick-me-up.

I started off with one of their signature creations – the MOD Pizza Supreme. It came loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions and green peppers, all topped with mozzarella cheese. The crust was light, crispy and full of flavor. The toppings were fresh and generously distributed throughout the pizza which really enhanced its flavor. Overall, I was very impressed with this pie!

Next up, I tried the Build Your Own option and went wild with my creation! Spinach, black olives, banana peppers – you name it I added it to this pizza. Once again, the crust was cooked to perfection giving me just enough crunch in each bite. All of the ingredients blended harmoniously together creating a unique pizza experience that only MOD Pizza can provide.

To wrap things up I grabbed a few slices of their special dessert pizza; an Oreo cookie base topped off with marshmallows and chocolate chips – it’s safe to say that my sweet tooth left more than satisfied!

#3 Little Cee’s Pizza & Subs

What sets Little Cee’s apart is their freshly made, classic pizza dough that makes the perfect crust. It’s chewy and flavorful with a hint of sweetness.

The toppings are plentiful and always fresh; you can get anything from the classic pepperoni to their special house blend of Italian sausage. Their subs are also delicious, with options like the classic Italian sub topped with hand-sliced salami, capicola ham, and provolone cheese drizzled with oil and vinegar.

But the real star of Little Cee’s is their signature deep dish pizzas. The crust is thick but still light and airy, not overdone like some places I’ve been to. I’ve tried every topping combination they offer – from the classic supreme to their unique buffalo chicken pizza – and each one just keeps getting better!

Even though it took me all over the world to find Little Cee’s Pizza & Subs, I’m certainly glad I did! It has definitely earned its place as the best pizza in Terre Haute!

#4 Greek’s Pizzeria

The atmosphere is casual, yet modern with its bright red walls and vibrant artwork. The staff was friendly and always willing to answer any questions I had. I had no doubt that the pizza would be top-notch because of how passionate they were about their craft!

I tried a number of their specialty pies, but the clear winner was their cheese pizza – perfection on a plate. The crust was thin yet crisp; the sauce was flavorful and not too sweet; and the cheese added just the right amount of tangy saltiness. Plus, it came loaded with fresh toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, and pepperoni. All in all, this pizza is absolute perfection.

In conclusion, Greek’s Pizzeria serves up some of the best pizzas in Terre Haute! If you’re looking for an amazing slice of pizza goodness then look no further than Greek’s!

I recently had the pleasure of sampling some of their signature creations and I’ve got to say, they’re some of the best pies I’ve ever tasted. From the classic margherita to the unique Hawaiian-style pizza, each one was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The crust was light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunchy texture, while the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese left my taste buds tingling for more.

Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Pizza King’s amazing selection of specialty toppings! Each topping is carefully added with a delicate balance, so that it enhances the flavor without overpowering it. For example, their smoked salmon pizza has become my personal favorite with its combination of fresh salmon and creamy garlic sauce.

All in all, Pizza King is definitely one of my new favorite places for great pizza in Terre Haute. Whether you’re looking for something traditional or something a little more daring, Pizza King will have you covered with truly delicious fare!

The pizza itself is fantastic. The crust is thin and crumbly, with just the right amount of char on the edges, and the sauce is perfectly seasoned. On top of that, they have a wide range of delicious toppings that can be added to your pie.

But what really sets Monical’s Pizza apart from other places is their atmosphere. It has a relaxed and inviting vibe, which makes it an ideal spot to bring friends or family for dinner. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring that you get exactly what you want out of your meal.

I had the pleasure of trying the signature pepperoni pie and let me tell you, it’s one of a kind. The crust was thin and crispy with a slightly charred flavor that reminded me of my favorite pizzerias in Italy. The sauce had just enough spice to balance out the flavor of the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.

The customer service at Footers Pizza was also top notch. The staff was warm and friendly, making sure every customer felt welcomed. Plus, they gave me a free slice just for being a returning customer! It’s no wonder why Footers Pizza has quickly become a staple in Terre Haute.

From the moment I stepped inside and was greeted with a warm smile by their friendly staff, I knew this was going to be a good experience. From the décor to the pizza itself, Wise Pies went above and beyond to make sure my visit was special.

The pizza itself is top notch, with fresh-made dough and an array of toppings that are out of this world. Every bite is a little piece of heaven! The crust is perfectly crunchy and the cheese and sauce blend together just right. And don’t get me started on their signature pies – I haven’t had anything like them before!

But what really sets Wise Pies apart from other pizza places is their atmosphere. This place has an energy that’s hard to describe – it makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, into an old-fashioned pizzeria where everyone knows your name. With great music playing in the background, it’s impossible not to have a good time here!

#9 Scout’s pizzeria

I walked in to the small, family-owned joint and the atmosphere was very inviting. There were brick walls with a vintage vibe, cozy booths, and an open kitchen where the pizzas were being made right before my eyes!

The menu was simple but all the items sounded delicious. I decided to go for their specialty pizza – a thin crust topped with mozzarella cheese, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and green bell peppers – and it did not disappoint! The flavors blended together perfectly and the crust was just thin enough that you could taste the flavor of each topping without it being too heavy.

I also had a few of their side dishes like garlic bread and a garden salad. Both items were fresh and tasty. The garlic bread had just the right amount of buttery garlicky goodness while the salad had a nice mix of veggies tossed with a light vinaigrette.

Overall I’m convinced that Scout’s Pizzeria is serving some of the best pizza in Terre Haute! With friendly service, reasonable prices and delicious food, this is definitely one restaurant you should check out if you’re ever in town.

#10 Pizza Gallery

My experience was top notch, the staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was inviting and cozy, and most importantly – the pizza was amazing.

I must say that I tried something I had never heard of before: Chocolate Pizza. Yes, you heard me right – a sweet combination of cake-like crust with milk chocolate and white chocolate on top sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts. Needless to say, this was a treat! The classic pizzas are equally tasty. Whether it’s their signature Pepperoni Galore or something more sophisticated like Mushroom & Truffle – each slice is cooked to perfection.

Finally, their commitment to sustainability is admirable. Every pizza box is made from recycled materials and they only use locally sourced ingredients for maximum freshness and flavor.

#11 Monical’s Pizza of Sycamore Terrace

The atmosphere is great. It’s a nice tourist spot and the décor was quite trendy. I also noticed they serve alcohol, making it a good choice to grab a pizza and some drinks! They had a kid’s menu which is always appreciated, plus vegetarian options and desserts.

But let’s get to the main dish – the pizza. Monical’s Pizza of Sycamore Terrace definitely lived up to expectations! The crust had a perfect crispness, and their selection of toppings made each slice an amazing flavor experience. My favorite was their classic pepperoni pie!

The only downside was that there was no delivery service here – but it’s definitely worth the trip from wherever you’re coming from just for this pizza! All in all, I highly recommend Monical’s Pizza of Sycamore Terrace if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Terre Haute.

#12 Twiggy’s One Headlight Pub

The atmosphere was fun and lively, with the perfect background of sports on the TVs. Plus, they had an excellent selection of beer on tap – plus hard liquor! What a bonus.

The pizza itself was fresh, hot and delicious. The toppings were always flavorful and generous and the cheese melted perfectly in my mouth. I was in pure bliss after every bite; this place definitely doesn’t skimp on quality ingredients.

My only complaint about Twiggy’s is that they don’t do deliveries. But, it’s a great place to go if you’re looking for a fun night out or just want to grab some takeout while sightseeing in Terre Haute!
