Now, I know what you’re thinking. New Orleans isn’t exactly known for their deep dish pizza. It’s more famous for its jazz, gumbo, and beignets. But let me tell you, Midway Pizza is a hidden gem in the land of po’boys.

First of all, the size of their deep dish pizza is ridiculous. It’s like they’re saying, Why have a regular slice when you can have an entire pie? I mean, it’s practically a personal pizza for a family of four! You might need a team of strong men to help you carry it to your table, but trust me, it’s worth it.

Now let’s talk about the crust. Oh, that buttery, flaky crust that melts in your mouth like a dream. It’s so thick and indulgent, you could probably use it as a flotation device if you were stranded at sea. And don’t even get me started on the cheese. It’s so gooey and stretchy, it’s like a slinky made out of mozzarella.

But here’s the kicker: the toppings. Midway Pizza goes above and beyond with their toppings. I’m talking about pizza creations you never even knew you wanted until you took a bite. From their alligator sausage to their crawfish étouffée pizza, they bring a taste of New Orleans to every slice.

So, if you’re in the Big Easy and craving a deep dish pizza that will leave you in a glorious food coma, head over to Midway Pizza. Just be prepared to roll yourself out of the restaurant afterwards.
