When I entered the restaurant, the smell of freshly baked dough hit me like a ton of bricks. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with dim lighting and rustic decor.

I ordered the classic Margherita pie and was pleased with the thin crust and fresh ingredients. To my surprise, it had a delightful buttery flavor that only deepened when topped with their homemade tomato sauce. Other noteworthy items on the menu included the deep dish Sicilian pizza and wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas.

But what really set Nola Mia apart from other pizza joints was its unique gelato selection. After my meal, I sampled several flavors including bourbon pecan and salted caramel. These were some of the most delicious gelatos I’ve ever tried!

What stands out most about them is the quality of their ingredients and the attention to detail given to each pizza. I’ve tried it all – from their classic Margherita, to their artisanal Italian pizzas, to the garlic and herb-infused crusts that are out of this world. Each one has tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of crunch!

I was also very pleased with their selection of beers, wines, and spirits – not something you always find at a pizza restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual evening out. And last but not least, the service was top-notch. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable – he even recommended some perfect pairings for each of our pizzas!

The restaurant has a classic Italian atmosphere – with white-washed walls and red checkered table cloths. The staff is warm and friendly, immediately making you feel welcome.

On my first visit, I sampled their Margherita pizza – a classic flavor combination that Sofia somehow manages to pull off better than almost any other restaurant I’ve ever experienced. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the Alfredo sauce was flavourful, and they added just enough mozzarella cheese to make it extra cheesy. Yum!

I would highly recommend Pizza Delicious to anyone looking for the best pizza in The French Quarter. Upon walking in I was immediately overwhelmed by the warm and inviting atmosphere – not to mention the mouth-watering aromas. The decor is classic New Orleans, with bright splashes of color and lots of vintage touches.

The pizza itself? How do I even begin to describe it? It’s simply divine! The dough is the perfect combination of crunchy and chewy, with a wonderful smoky flavor that comes from the wood-fired ovens. The toppings are always fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. All this adds up to a truly unique pizza experience!

Even better than the food however is definitely the hospitality. From the moment you step in, you are warmly welcomed like family. Not only do they make you feel at home, but they also take time to get to know each customer personally so they can give them their best recommendation for whatever kind of pizza they might like. That kind of attention to detail is what really sets Mona Lisa apart from other pizzerias.

All in all I’d have to say that if you’re looking for a truly exceptional pizza experience in The French Quarter then look no further than Mona Lisa. It may not be the oldest spot in town, but it just may be one of the best!

The atmosphere is casual, yet sophisticated. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They will make sure that you get exactly what you want from your pizza experience.

The pies were everything I expected and more! The crust was perfectly cooked and slightly chewy with a crispy edge. The tomato sauce had the right amount of sweetness and tanginess. And the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Even the vegetarian option was just amazing!

Aside from the delicious pizza, they have great salads to accompany the meal. Not to mention their famous cheese board! It’s a great way to end a perfect pizza night at Paulie Gee’s Crescent City Slice Shop.

When I first walked in, I was hit with the smell of fired-up dough and garlic. The atmosphere was cozy, with a few tables and chairs, making it feel like a real Italian pizza joint.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They explained all their menu items in detail which was great! After much deliberation, I opted for their classic margherita pizza.

It didn’t take long for my pizza to arrive at the table – it looked amazing! Every bite was heavenly; the dough was nicely crisped, the tomatoes were fresh and flavorful, and the cheese had an evenly melted goodness that was out of this world.

To top off my experience even more they serve homemade gelato in many flavors. Before leaving I enjoyed a scoop of hazelnut gelato which tied everything together perfectly.

#9 Fat Boy’s Pizza

I’m not exaggerating when I say the pizza here is out of this world! From the moment I stepped foot in Fat Boy’s, I knew I was in for something special. The décor was inviting and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy.

The staff were friendly and accommodating and made sure my experience was top-notch! Even though I’m a food critic, they treated me like one of their own – talking me through the menu and making recommendations.

I ended up deciding on a large classic pepperoni pizza. It came out looking like art – perfectly round with a golden, bubbly crust that was just a bit crispy around the edges (which is how I like it!). Topping it all off were generous slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and vibrant red, juicy pepperoni.

I took my first bite and it blew me away. The tart tomato sauce blended perfectly with the salty pepperoni and decadent cheese – creating an explosion of flavor in my mouth! Every single bite made me want another one – but sadly, there were no leftovers to take home!

The way they cook their pizza is truly unique! Everything – from the dough to the toppings – are all cooked together, at blazing fast speed I might add. The result? Perfectly cooked thin-crust pizza with a delightfully golden-brown edge.

One of my favorite things about Blaze Pizza is that you can customize your own pie… and it doesn’t break the bank. From classic pepperoni and cheese to creative toppings like roasted garlic and artichoke hearts, they’ve got it all! And don’t forget their awesome assortment of sauces too – yum!

Plus, the customer service is on point at Blaze Pizza. All the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home while waiting for my meal to be ready. And when it did arrive – wow! It was piping hot, just how I love it.

So all in all, I’d definitely recommend Blaze Pizza if you’re looking for an amazing slice in The French Quarter. Trust me – you won’t regret it!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and quaint. The music isn’t too loud so you can chat while enjoying your pizza. Plus, they have a great selection of beers to choose from.

I must say that the pizza was really special – it had a perfect stone-baked crust with a bit of charring around the edges. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, making each bite an explosion of flavor. My favorite was their special “Creole Pizza”. It had red sauce, generous amounts of cheese, small shrimp and scallops, all topped with a sprinkle of Creole seasoning – a truly unique combination!

Of course, I also had to try some of their traditional pies – the Pepperoni was especially delicious and the Margherita was nice and light with plenty of herbs on top.

Overall, I have to say Crescent City Pizza Works has some of the best pizza in The French Quarter! If you’re ever in town looking for something delicious, this is definitely the spot for you.

It was my first time visiting Vieux Carre Wingery, and the pizza did not disappoint. The dough was light and fluffy, yet had some substance to it. It was cooked perfectly! The slice I got was loaded with toppings – pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms – and it all went together perfectly. The sauce had the right balance of sweetness and tanginess and the cheese melted beautifully.

The atmosphere in Vieux Carre Wingery definitely adds to the experience. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their products; they even gave me samples of several dishes before I decided on what pizza to try. I also enjoyed chatting with other patrons about how great the pizza tasted.
