My pizza adventures have taken me to some of the best-known cities in the world, and Milford is no exception when it comes to delicious pies. It wasn’t an easy task distinguishing the 12 pizzerias I visited. But after plenty of cheesy slices and loaded toppings, I’ve determined that these are the best pizzas in Milford!

#1 Papa’s Pizza & Pasta

The service was friendly and warm, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of classic pizzas as well as some inventive creations. They even have gluten-free options, which is great for my health-conscious friends.

The pizza itself was truly delicious! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the sauce was zesty and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generous. I’m usually a plain cheese kind of guy, but at Papa’s Pizza & Pasta I opted for something different – their signature pepperoni pizza. It did not disappoint!

Upon walking into the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the decor. It’s like stepping back in time to when pizza places had a classic 1950s vibe. The waitstaff was super friendly and greeted me warmly.

I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and I have to say that it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! The thin crispy crust, combined with the perfect balance of tangy tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese made each bite something special.

The ingredients tasted so fresh; there is no question that it is all local and top quality. Even more impressive was that my pizza arrived just minutes after ordering it; whoever Jimmy is, he certainly knows his stuff when it comes to making amazing pizza.

When it comes to the food – oh my! The pizza here is just incredible! Their Margherita pizza uses top quality ingredients like fresh tomatoes and tasty mozzarella cheese all on a perfect thin crust. They’ve even got additional toppings if you want something extra special! The best part about their pizzas though, has to be their homemade sauce – it’s always cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness.

The atmosphere in the small pizzeria is warm and inviting. The staff always greet customers with a smiling face, which really sets the tone for your delicious experience.

Moving onto the pizza – it’s truly a work of art! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and you can taste the quality of their ingredients in every bite. It’s clear to see why this place has been around for years – they know what they’re doing!

My personal favorite is their pepperoni pizza. It has just enough seasoning to give it a nice kick without overpowering your taste buds. Plus, each slice is deliciously greasy, making it perfect for when you need something indulgent after a long day.

#6 GG’s Wood Fired Pizza

The atmosphere is great, with warm wooden tables and chairs spread throughout the dining area. And the staff are not only friendly, but also really know their stuff when it comes to pizza!

The menu is full of a variety of options for everyone, from traditional red sauce pies to more creative builds – I personally recommend the eggplant pesto, it’s delicious!

Plus, you don’t have to worry about anyone getting bored here: GG’s has a kid’s menu so the little ones can get involved too! But that’s not all – they also serve alcohol (plus hard liquor!), so even adults can join in on the fun.

And lastly, the dessert here is insane – seriously one of the best I’ve had. The zeppoles are an absolute must.

My only complaint (which isn’t really a complaint) would be that there’s no delivery option here, but let me tell you – it’s well worth it to visit GG’s Wood Fired Pizza!

#7 Colony Grill – Milford

I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Colony Grill – Milford, and I can honestly say that it was an enjoyable experience. I must admit, the pizza was to die for! The crust was perfection; crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. To top it all off, they even have a few vegetarian options if you’re not a fan of meat!

The atmosphere was very inviting and welcoming. Not only is it great for tourists, but also a great spot to watch sports with your friends. And what’s more, they even serve alcohol (including hard liquor)!

My only complaint is that they don’t offer delivery service yet — hopefully in the future.

Overall, I give Colony Grill – Milford two thumbs up for the best pizza in Milford CT! If you haven’t been there yet, do yourself a favor and check it out!

I was amazed by the quality of their thin crust pizza – it had just the right amount of crispiness with gooey deliciousness on top. Each slice was chock full of fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. I’m still dreaming about that first bite!

The staff at Milford Pizza were friendly and welcoming, making sure my experience was perfect. They even let me sample a few different types of pies before I settled on one – and boy did I ever make the right choice!

On top of great pizza and friendly service, the prices were very reasonable for what you got – definitely some bang for your buck.

Overall, I can honestly say that Milford Pizza is my favorite pizza joint in town – hands down! If you want amazing pizza without breaking the bank, this is the place to go.

The atmosphere at Franco’s is cozy and inviting, with a classic Italian vibe that makes you feel right at home. But the real star of the show is the pizza. The crust is cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. The sauce was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the cheese – oh, the cheese. It was creamy, gooey, and melted in my mouth.

I tried several different toppings during my visit – sausage, mushrooms, peppers – each one equally delicious. I could tell that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. There wasn’t a single disappointment!

And then there’s the service – it’s top notch! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer any questions I had. They managed to keep up with my changes of mind without batting an eye.

I’ve never experienced such a unique blend of flavors and textures in one pizza. From their delightful sauce, the perfect amount of cheese, and all the fresh toppings, it’s clear that these folks know what they’re doing when it comes to making pizza.

I noticed that the restaurant has an emphasis on using fresh ingredients, so the flavor is always spot-on and there isn’t too much oil or grease. They really let the taste of each topping shine through!

My absolute favorite part about East Shore Pizza is definitely their crust. It’s light and fluffy on the inside with just enough crunch from a perfectly charred exterior. All in all, you can tell that this place is serious about their pizza-making skills.

To sum it up, East Shore Pizza is hands down best pizza in Milford CT and I wouldn’t hesitate to come again!

My first bite of that delicious pizza made me never want to leave. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the sauce was flavorful and just spicy enough. The cheese was so melted and gooey it almost felt like a cheesy blanket that I wanted to stay in forever.
