I was amazed at the sheer size of their pies – they were close to two feet in diameter and could easily feed 6 or more people. Not only were they large, but the toppings were generous too! I had a pepperoni and jalapeno pie that must have been covered in half a pound of cheese (it was almost too much!).

I arrived at Mama’s Italian Restaurant to find a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cozy Italian décor was spot-on and the music playing was just perfect for a casual lunch. I took full advantage of being able to grab a beer from the bar and sip it with my meal, which definitely added to the experience!

I started off with an order of cheese breadsticks, and they were outstanding! Soft and chewy on the inside, yet crunchy on the outside; melted cheese oozed out from every bite! Can’t recommend these enough.

The main event: pizza time! After drooling over their menu filled to the brim with endless pizza choices, I finally settled on their speciality: The Mamasita Pizza. It was love at first bite! The thin crust was perfectly cooked with just enough crispiness to hold all the wonderful toppings which included pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives, onions, garlic, and bell peppers. No shortage of flavor here!

What really sealed the deal for me though was that they had options for both kids as well as vegetarians — something that isn’t always easy to come by! And if that wasn’t enough… they also offer dessert!! Talk about indulging in some pure Italian perfection!

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery — you have to dine in or take it home yourself. But trust me.. once you’ve tasted Mama’s Italian Restaurant’s pizza… you won’t mind making the trip again and again!
