#5 Oltre Mare
- Nice tourist spot
- Has insanely good dessert
I recently visited this delicious Italian eatery on a quest for the best pizza in the area. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew it was going to be good. The atmosphere was cozy, with handmade ceramic plates adorning the walls and a wood-burning pizza oven in the corner of the room.
The menu at Oltre Mare is filled with classic Italian dishes like lasagna, ravioli, and bruschetta. But I came here for one reason; to try their famous pizza! And let me tell you: it did not disappoint!
The crust is perfectly crispy with just enough chewiness so that it doesn’t overwhelm the toppings or break apart in your hands. The sauce is thick yet light and flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and unwinding. You can tell the staff here is passionate about pizza making and it shows with their delicious pies.

I then moved on to their White Clam Pie Surprise – wow! I’m not sure why they keep this as a special off-menu item because it’s one of their best creations. The clams were fresh and gave a nice briny flavor to the pie that was accentuated by the olives and garlic sprinkled on top.
