The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The ingredients were all fresh, quality, and flavorful. The crust had a perfect crunch while still being chewy in the middle – whatever they do to get it just right is a well-guarded secret!
The other toppings were heavenly as well. From classic pepperoni to more exotic options like artichokes, every bite was delicious. I especially enjoyed the ricotta cheese that they used on some of their pies – so creamy and tasty!
My only complaint is that Pizza Amore Mio doesn’t offer delivery service. But really, it’s worth making the trip just for their pizza – it’s truly one of the best around!

#2 Lo Coco’s Authentic Italian Pizzeria

The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the decor is like stepping into an old Italian trattoria. Plus, the fragrance of fresh-baked pizza wafting through the air will make your mouth water even before you sit down.
The menu presents an array of classic Italian pizzas as well as some unique creations. I decided to go with the Chicken Parmigiana pizza – it was delicious! The thin, crispy crust was perfect, as were the rich flavors in the rich tomato sauce and topped off with melted parmesan cheese.
But what really made Lo Coco’s stand out was their house-made dough. It’s light and fluffy on the inside but perfectly crisp on the outside making for a perfectly balanced pizza every time. And don’t forget about those secret ingredients that give each bite a burst of flavor!
I can honestly say this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and definitely hands down, the best pizza in San Rafael. So if you’re ever near this part of California, be sure to check out Lo Coco’s Authentic Italian Pizzeria – it’ll be worth every penny (or calorie)!

I finally gave up on my search of pizza perfection when I stepped foot in Ghiringhelli’s. The first thing that caught my eye was the huge brick ovens in the back. I thought to myself, if they can make an amazing pizza with these ovens then I’ve found what I’m looking for!
The atmosphere was also great; it was relaxed and inviting. The staff was friendly and helped us decide on the perfect pizza for our tastes. We went with a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom combo, no surprise there!
I took one bite into that slice of heaven and knew without a doubt this is some of the best pizza in San Rafael. It was cheesy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. You could tell they put care into every single slice they make.

I’m sure many of you have tried this place before and know how good their pizza really is. For those of you who haven’t, let me assure you that it’s worth the trip to San Rafael!
When I arrived at Roma Antica, I was immediately struck by the beautiful atmosphere and inviting decor. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative about all the options available to me for my meal.
The pizza itself left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, it was cooked perfectly. The thin crust had a nice crunchy texture, while the toppings were evenly distributed giving each bite a taste of everything. The ingredients are top-notch quality, from the appetizing marinara sauce down to the fresh parmesan cheese topping.

The quality of the pizza here is top-notch, and it’s all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crust has a great crunch, the cheese is melted perfectly, and you can taste the herbs used in each pie. Plus, they offer some vegetarian options for those who don’t eat meat.
But that’s not even the best part! Arizmendi Bakery & Café also offers an insanely good selection of desserts to finish off your meal. From pies to cookies, there’s something for everyone. Plus, they have seasonal specials so you’re always in for a surprise!
It’s also a great tourist spot if you’re visiting San Rafael – and although there’s no delivery option available yet, I’m sure that will change soon enough.

#6 Pizzeria Picco

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. The staff are friendly and attentive, always making sure that my dining experience was nothing but the best.
As for their pizza, I was absolutely blown away! All of their pizzas are made with only the freshest ingredients. There’s no denying that they care about the quality of their product. My favorite by far was the “Margherita,” which is topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, garlic, tomatoes and basil. It was amazingly delicious – so much so that I almost wanted to keep it as a souvenir!
I also had drinks and dessert while I was at Pizzeria Picco. Both were top-notch! The drink selection included a variety of craft beers, wines and sodas which went perfectly with their great pizza. Their dessert menu had something for everyone, from traditional Italian gelato to decadent tiramisu and more.
If you’re looking for delicious pizza in San Rafael, then look no further than Pizzeria Picco! In my opinion, this place serves up some of the best pizza in town – you won’t be disappointed!

When I first arrived, I was welcomed with a friendly atmosphere and great hospitality. The interior is warm and inviting with plenty of seating.
I decided to try one of the specialty pies, and I can honestly say it was the best pizza I have ever had! The cheese was so flavorful and the toppings were perfectly balanced. It truly was a pizza masterpiece!
The taproom menu is also extensive, offering a variety of craft beers from local breweries. My friends certainly enjoyed their order of wings as well.
Overall, my experience at Creekside Pizza & Taproom was top-notch. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, the food was delicious, and the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in San Rafael – it really is some of the best pizza in town!

The place is always bustling and the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful, greeting me with a warm Italian welcome.
The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, with a variety of Italian music playing in the background. The walls are decorated with colorful murals that capture the essence of Italy.
I was really impressed by their huge selection of pizzas on offer – from classic margherita to more unusual creations such as gorgonzola and walnuts. Every pizza I tried was perfectly cooked, with thin but hearty crusts and sheer perfection in terms of toppings. The ingredients were fresh and blended together beautifully.
I also sampled several of Gaspare’s other dishes, including bruschetta and pasta carbonara – both were as good as anything I’ve eaten in Italy! The prices are very reasonable too – you don’t have to break the bank for great pizza here.
Overall, Gaspare’s Pizzeria Ristorante is well worth a visit if you’re looking for some truly superb pizza! It stands out among other establishments in San Rafael by offering an outstanding dining experience at a great price – long live Gaspare’s!

The first thing I noticed when entering this restaurant was the decor. There’s a charming Italian-style atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The marinara-red walls are covered in posters of iconic pizza lovers like Leonardo Da Vinci and Socrates!
Once I got to the menu, my excitement only increased. The selection of pizzas is impressive, with something for everyone. From classic pepperoni and sausage to unique gourmet options like chorizo and artichoke, the choices are endless. Plus, they offer delicious vegan and gluten-free options as well.
The pizza itself was out of this world – it had just the right amount of crunchy crust, creamy cheese, and flavorful sauce. All together, it was an amazing flavor experience like no other!
In short, Pizzalina is an amazing place for all pizza enthusiasts (or enthusiasts-to-be). It’s definitely the best way to get your pizza fix in San Rafael!

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Mulberry Street was the unique atmosphere. The walls were adorned with photos of New York City, and the old school radio tunes playing in the background made me feel like I had stepped back in time.
The staff at Mulberry Street were friendly and helpful, eager to make me feel right at home. They even showed me around the place so that I could get a full appreciation of the setting.
Of course, it doesn’t matter how great a restaurant is if the food isn’t good – but thankfully, this was not an issue here! The pizza dough was light and fluffy, with just enough crispiness on the edges to give it that classic Italian flavor. The toppings were fresh and flavorful – they clearly take pride in their ingredients here!
I can honestly say that my visit to Mulberry Street Pizzeria was one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly and the ingredients were top-notch. At first glance, the pizza menu had all of my favorite options with a few twists that I hadn’t seen before – and I’m glad I decided to try them out!
One of my favorites was the barbecue chicken pizza. The mix of smoky barbecue sauce, red onions and melted cheese tasted amazing. It really hits the spot. Another great option is their mac n’ cheese pizza. Yes, you read that correctly – mac n’ cheese on a pizza! This also tasted fantastic and exceeded my expectations.
But it’s not just about the taste at Extreme Pizza! You can get creative by making your own combinations with all sorts of specialty toppings like goat cheese or artichoke hearts. They offer truly unique flavors unlike anything else in San Rafael.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – like stepping into a pizzeria in Brooklyn, NY. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which was filled with delicious options!
The pizza crust was thin and crispy, not too thick or too soggy. The red sauce had just the right amount of flavor – not overwhelming but still flavorful. And the cheese! Oh my goodness, the cheese was so gooey and delicious. I could eat it by itself if I wanted to!
And the toppings? To die for! They jut kept piling on layer after layer of amazing ingredients until each slice tasted like an explosion of flavor. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives…you name it they had it!

Walking into West Brooklyn Pizza, I was immediately transported back to the bustling streets of New York. The classic red-checkered tablecloths, the retro jukebox in the corner, and the aroma of freshly baked dough all contributed to the perfect pizza experience I was seeking.
I started with their signature Margherita pizza. As I took my first bite, I couldn’t help but feel like I was floating on a cloud made of cheese and marinara. The thin crust was crispy, yet delicate, like a ballerina doing a pirouette. The tangy tomato sauce was just the right amount of tangy, a symphony of flavors dancing on my taste buds.
Next, I tried their Meat Lovers pizza, and let me tell you, it was a carnivore’s dream come true. The generous portions of pepperoni, sausage, and bacon were like a carnivorous carnival in my mouth. Each bite was a chorus of smoky flavors, and I couldn’t help but hum along in enjoyment.
