From the moment I stepped foot in the door, I knew this was a special place. The decor is warm and inviting, with checkered tablecloths and vintage signs adorning the walls. Plus, the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.
The food is even better! The first thing that caught my eye was the expansive menu- it has something for everyone! From classic Margherita to creative toppings like prosciutto and artichoke hearts, there’s something to suit every taste. The crust is especially noteworthy- it’s thin and crunchy without being too doughy or soggy.

The pizza here is truly out of this world. Every time I visit, I have a slice of the classic cheeseburger pizza – it’s always perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend together beautifully, and the juicy beef chunks make for an unbeatable combination.
I also love their Brooklyn style pizzas, which are incredibly thin and crispy. They use only the freshest ingredients and the toppings really add an extra punch of flavor. Whether you go for a traditional pepperoni or something more adventurous like pineapple and ham, you’re sure to get a delicious pizza experience every single time!
But my favorite thing about Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn is their friendly service. Everyone who works there is so knowledgeable about their menu and they’re always willing to answer any questions you might have about the pizzas. I went there for dinner on a recent visit and was blown away. The pizza crust was so thin and crispy, yet it still managed to hold up the toppings without becoming soggy. On my pizza, I had pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms – all cooked to perfection!
The staff at Trattoria del Sole & Market del Sole were also super friendly and helpful. They even gave me some recommendations of their favorite specialty pizzas that I had to try. I tried the prosciutto e funghi pizza which had prosciutto, mushrooms, onions, and mozzarella cheese – it was delicious!
But the best part were the prices – they’re very affordable considering how amazing the food is. In fact, one of my friends joked that they must be using “magical pizza dust” in order to make such delicious pizzas at such low prices!

Best Deep Dish Pizza – Gino’s East of Chicago
- Offers dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
- Great place to watch sports
- Serves alcohol
- Nice tourist spot
As I waltzed into Gino’s East of Chicago, I felt like a pizza-loving Indiana Jones seeking the sacred treasure of melted cheese and tomato goodness. The aroma alone made my taste buds tango with excitement, like a synchronized dance troupe performing a saucy samba.
The deep dish pizza at Gino’s East was a majestic creation. The crust, a thick golden blanket of happiness, was like a mattress that hugged my taste buds. It was so satisfyingly crispy on the outside and divinely doughy on the inside that it made me wonder if a pizza chef and a cloud had a secret affair.
One bite into the pizza caused a mozzarella explosion that could rival the world’s most spectacular fireworks display. The cheese stretched and melted, clinging to my chin like an affectionate pet. I was briefly tempted to name it Sir Cheesy McCheese Face.
The toppings were aplenty, ensuring that each bite was a flavor explosion. Pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, and even pineapple (yes, I dared to defy the purists!) harmonized like a symphony orchestra, with each ingredient playing its part flawlessly.
If you’re a pizza aficionado seeking joy and deliciousness, Gino’s East of Chicago is a must-visit. Just be prepared to need a food coma-induced nap afterward because this pizza is a true belly buster. But hey, if you’re going to fall asleep in public, what better place than a pizza paradise like Gino’s?
