After one particularly delicious slice of pepperoni, I thought to myself: “Now THIS is real pizza!” Ample cheese, delightful sauce, and not too much grease were some of the key elements that really made it stand out.

The atmosphere is great; the place is nicely decorated, and the staff are super friendly. The pizza pies come in all shapes and sizes, so there’s something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the Detroit-style deep dish pizza; it was cooked to perfect crispiness and had a flavor that just couldn’t be beat!
The toppings are top notch as well; I had a pepperoni and sausage one that was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, yet still flavorful.
All things considered, Buddy’s Pizza goes above and beyond when it comes to crafting top-notch pizza pies. My taste buds were delighted every step of the way! If you’re in Ann Arbor looking for the best pizza around, you’ll definitely want to make a stop here.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting, with a cozy brick oven surrounded by a warm and welcoming decor. The staff were all incredibly friendly – they made me feel right at home!
The pizza was truly delicious – it had perfect crispy crust and the flavor was spot on. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and I especially appreciated the variety of interesting options that Bigalora offers.
I must say, the service was great as well. My drink was refilled constantly and my pizza arrived in record time. I didn’t have to wait long for my pie either – it came out piping hot from the wood-fired oven!
To top it all off, the prices were extremely reasonable considering how high quality the food was. Overall, Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina definitely exceeded my expectations – this is truly some of the best pizza in Ann Arbor (in fact, I’d go so far as to say it’s some of the best pizza anywhere!).
#3 Joe’s Pizza NYC

The smell alone as I walked in was enough to tantalize my taste buds. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, with a modern twist that made me feel right at home.
I ordered their signature pepperoni pizza and boy was it delicious! The crust was just the right thickness and had the perfect crunch to it. The sauce was perfectly balanced, not too acidic or too sweet. And the fresh toppings really took it over the top – spicy pepperoni, juicy mushrooms, and tangy olives.
Plus, being a traveling food critic, I must add that their customer service is top-notch! Their staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I had to try their specialty. The rich scent of the homemade dough pulled me in, and when the first slice touched my tongue, it was an indescribable experience. The thin crust was crisp, yet chewy and perfectly cooked. The generous amount of cheese and toppings melted together in delicious harmony.
I’m still drooling just thinking about it!
The service at Anthony’s Gourmet Pizza is also top-notch. Everyone there was warm, friendly, and helpful. They were more than happy to answer questions or make substitutions as needed without any hassle. Plus, they even gave me a free dessert for my trouble!

#5 Pizza Bob’s
I had the pleasure of visiting Pizza Bob’s on a recent trip and I’m glad I did. Upon entering, I was greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of fresh pizza. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I would be having some great pizza tonight!
The menu was full of delicious offerings, but I decided to try their signature item – the Bob Special! This large pizza came with an impressive array of toppings including pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. When the pizza arrived at our table, it was steaming hot and ready to eat!
One bite into this delectable creation made me wonder why anyone would go anywhere else for pizza. The crust was deliciously crispy while the sauce was perfectly balanced – not too sweet or too acidic. The cheese was melt-in-your-mouth good and all of the toppings were just bursting with flavor.
In short, Pizza Bob’s lives up to its reputation as the best pizza in Ann Arbor! They have definitely earned their place as one of my favorite places for a delicious slice (or two or three)!
#6 Hello Faz Pizza
The crust was cooked to perfection – light and crunchy with a buttery flavor that you don’t find elsewhere. The toppings were incredibly fresh, which made for the perfect balance of flavors. Every bite was simply divine.
The staff here was friendly and accommodating. From the moment I walked in, they treated me like royalty and did their best to make sure my experience was a positive one.
I also couldn’t help but notice the excellent presentation of their food. Each pizza looked like an art masterpiece – almost too beautiful to eat!
Overall, I highly recommend Hello Faz Pizza if you’re looking for gourmet-quality pizza in a casual atmosphere. I personally think it’s the best pizza in Ann Arbor!
#7 Toarmina’s Pizza & Burrito Joint
The first thing I noticed walking in was the incredible smell. From the wood-fired ovens to the delicious crust, there’s no denying that Toarmina’s knows its stuff. And let me tell you – their pizza is absolutely delicious!
Their signature dish is a burrito made with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon – and it’s absolutely out of this world. The combination of flavors is heavenly, and it really hits all the right notes.
I also have to mention the service – it was top notch! Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, answering my questions and offering suggestions. And the atmosphere? A fun place filled with laughter and great company.
Toarmina’s Pizza & Burrito Joint has certainly won me over – I think it serves some of the best pizza in Ann Arbor! If you’re looking for a fantastic meal paired with quality service and a great atmosphere, look no further than Toarmina’s!

I’d heard good things about them, but when I finally had the chance to try their food, I was blown away. The crust was perfectly cooked and chewy, with a hint of sweetness and a great balance of cheese and sauce that made every bite delicious.
Their menu offerings are also top-notch. From classic pepperoni to Chicago-style deep dish, Mancino’s has something for everyone. My favorite was their breakfast pizza – it was loaded with eggs, sausage, bacon and melted cheese that made it seem like an egg sandwich on a pizza crust!
The service at Mancino’s was also impressive. Not only did they have friendly staff who offered helpful advice on ordering, but the price of their food was very reasonable for the quality of ingredients used.
Overall, if you’re in Ann Arbor and looking for some of the best pizza around, then Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders is definitely worth checking out!

I recently tried their cheese pizza and it was simply divine! The cheese was perfectly melted, the crust was nicely charred, and the tomato sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. I’m sure they use only the freshest ingredients!
The service at Little Caesars Pizza is also top notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming and eager to help me out. They even gave me a free side of garlic bread which made my meal even more amazing.
The atmosphere at Little Caesars Pizza is also great for a casual night out with friends or family, or for grabbing a quick slice on the go. Their dining area is clean and comfortable, and their prices are very reasonable.
Overall, Little Caesars Pizza is an excellent place to grab a delicious slice of pizza in Ann Arbor. In my opinion, it has some of the best pizza around!

The atmosphere is just right; not overly stuffy or too casual. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable from the moment we walked in.
Now onto the pizza! I was blown away by the quality of their pies. The crust was perfect; it had a nice, crispy texture that stood up to whatever topping combo I chose (I went for four cheese and pepperoni). The toppings were plentiful and incredibly fresh and flavorful – I can definitely see why this place has such a great reputation!
The highlight of this pizza experience, however, was the pricing. It’s surprisingly affordable considering the quality of ingredients. For two large pizzas, we paid less than $20!
In conclusion, California Pizza Kitchen at Briarwood is hands down one of the best places to get pizza in Ann Arbor. Delicious crusts and fresh toppings make it worth every penny!

The first thing that jumped out at me when I tried the pizza was the flavorful, crunchy crust. It was just so delicious! Every time I bit into it, I immediately wanted more.

Another thing I really liked about Marco’s Pizza is their service. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to my needs, always offering helpful suggestions about which topping combinations would taste best.

As for toppings – they had all my favorites from pepperoni to mushrooms; I couldn’t decide which one to go with so I got them all (no regrets).
I also tried their wings as an appetizer and they too were tasty. The sauce had just enough kick without being too spicy.

Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed the vibrant and lively atmosphere. The aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air, making my stomach growl in anticipation. The staff greeted me with enthusiasm, possibly mistaking me for a celebrity (hey, I can dream).
One of the highlights of New York Pizza Depot is their decision to serve alcohol. Finally, a pizza joint that understands my need for a cold brew to wash down all that cheesy goodness! Not to mention, it helps to numb the pain of the bill that awaits me at the end of the meal!
For my vegetarian friends, fear not! They have a decent selection of veggie options, allowing herbivores like me to partake in the pizza-feasting frenzy. Hallelujah, no more awkwardly munching on a plain cheese slice while my carnivorous pals gorge on the latest meat-laden creation.
Oh, and did I mention they have dessert? The heavenly sweetness of their Nutella-filled pizza calzones took me straight to dessert nirvana. It’s like a chocolate explosion in your mouth, and who doesn’t love that?
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. New York Pizza Depot, for some inexplicable reason, does not accept reservations. I get it, they want to create a vibe where people spontaneously gather and embrace the chaos. But sometimes a guy just wants to enjoy his pizza without having to wait while stomach acids digest his insides. C’mon, New York Pizza Depot, help a fellow pizza enthusiast out!
