I’ll be honest, I’ve had better pizza in some of the more exotic cities, but none of them come close to what Pizza Sam’s has to offer. The crust is perfectly crunchy, the sauce is flavorful and robust, and the toppings are always fresh and tasty. And you’d be hard pressed to find a more generous helping of cheese than at Pizza Sam’s!
Weirdly enough, the atmosphere in Pizza Sam’s isn’t all that noteworthy. It’s kind of like walking into your typical family diner with a few extra pizzas thrown in. But don’t let that fool you—this place certainly delivers when it comes to taste!
The prices here are especially reasonable as well. For what you’re getting out of this amazing pizza experience, you can’t beat it anywhere else in Battle Creek.

The atmosphere of the place is super cozy and inviting. The owner, Tony, was so friendly and happy to show off their delicious creations. Even the décor was interesting — vintage black and white photos of different slices of pizza throughout history adorn the walls.
As soon as we sat down I knew this was going to be a great experience. Their menu consists mostly of unique topping combinations that you won’t find anywhere else. I tried one called ‘The Neapolitan’ — it’s made with beef sausage, fresh tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and a generous helping of garlic and oregano. Wow! It was really flavorful and perfectly cooked.

Let me start with the sauce. It’s perfectly tangy and the perfect balance of sweetness. The cheese was definitely top notch too. It was gooey and melted in my mouth, which I always appreciate. As for the other toppings, they were all cooked to perfection!
On top of that, their crust is excellent! With just a slight crunch on the outside and soft fluffy dough inside. It’s really hard to beat!
What truly sets this pizza place apart though is their friendly customer service. Every single time I come back for more, I’m always greeted with a big smile and amazing customer service. Plus with the bonus of being able to pick up my order or have it delivered – what more could you ask for?!

When it comes to the pizza itself, I can safely say that Mike’s Pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, with just enough char flavor to give it an extra boost of deliciousness. #6 Sir Pizza
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
I recently had the chance to visit this small, family-run eatery, and I have to say I was truly impressed by the quality of their pizza. The crust had just the right amount of chewiness and crunch, while the toppings were cooked perfectly, not greasy at all. The cheese was also excellent – it had that pleasing stretchy texture you want when biting into a slice of pizza.
But what really blew me away were the specialty pies. From their Meat Lover’s pizza (which comes loaded with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon) to their White Pizza (shredded mozzarella and ricotta with garlic oil), each of Sir Pizza’s unique creations are truly special culinary experiences.
The experience at Sir Pizza isn’t complete without one of their signature sides. My personal favorite is their garlic knots–they’re so light and fluffy and garlicky-good!

I decided to go with a classic pepperoni pie topped with extra cheese. As soon as it arrived, I knew I had made the right choice! The crust was perfectly thin, crisp on the outside yet still floppy enough to fold over like a piece of paper. Toppings were generous and flavorful.
